## What is Lightstick Controller?

Lightstick Controller (LSCon) controls BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) penlights from your smartphone.

■ Real-time control with the color wheel
Drag the on-screen color wheel to pick a color, and it is applied to your penlight instantly. Direct HEX code entry, 12 presets and saved favorites are supported. Brightness is freely adjustable from 0 to 100%.

■ Rich blink patterns
Off, steady, blink, fade-in, fade-out, pulse, inverse pulse, clap-style (PPPn / PPn) and more. Cycle time is adjustable, and a two-color mode alternates between two colors.

■ Automated shows with Scores
Record penlight color changes on a timeline with the "Score" feature. Set color, brightness, pattern and duration for each cue, then run the whole show with a single play button. Build scores by seconds, or by BPM (beats).

■ Automatic score generation from music (Premium)
Analyze a song from your music library and automatically generate a light show that follows the song's structure. You can specify the range to analyze, and edit the result freely in the editor.

■ Setlists for continuous playback (Premium)
Arrange multiple scores in performance order as a "Setlist" and play through an entire live show automatically. Gaps between scores can be configured.

■ Sharing scores
Import and export scores in JSON format. Share scores with other users and enjoy the same show together.

■ Verified devices
- PIKABON FRUITS ZIPPER OFFICIAL FAN LIGHT
- KING BLADE X10V
- Other BLE penlights (auto-detection available)

Unregistered devices may also work by testing command patterns with the auto-detection feature.

■ Free features
- Connecting to a penlight and controlling colors
- Setting blink patterns
- Creating and editing scores (up to 5 scores, 30 seconds each)
- Creating and editing scores in BPM mode

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.7 — 2026-08-29

Rainbow lighting, plus pause and seek during playback.

- Added "Rainbow": the hue shifts over time with no color to pick. It flows across cues without breaking, and one full cycle can be set in measures or seconds
- You can now pause and resume score playback
- Drag the timeline to start from anywhere
- Added a starting brightness, so a fade can begin partway up instead of from zero
- Improved cue reordering, and fixed issues with fades and the cue menu

### 1.6 — 2026-08-26

A fresh new look, and Auto-Generate now speaks your language.

- Redesigned the Color, Connection, Score, and Settings screens with "Liquid Glass" — translucent panels over a soft aurora glow that echoes the light of a real lightstick
- The Playback and Score Editor screens keep their original look for maximum visibility and editing precision
- Auto-Generate is now fully localized: every setting, and even section names like Intro and Chorus, appears in your language
- You can now manage or cancel your subscription from the Settings screen
- Fixed labels that could stay in the previous language right after switching languages
- Fixed cases where the free trial badge or the price was not displayed correctly

### 1.5 — 2026-07-23

■ Automatic Score Generation (New)
Analyze a song from your music library and automatically generate a light show that follows the song's structure. You can specify the range to analyze, and edit the result freely in the editor.

■ 2-Week Free Trial
Try the paid plan free for 2 weeks. It renews automatically after the trial, and you can cancel anytime.

■ BPM Scores Now Free
Creating and editing scores in BPM mode is now available at no charge.

■ Blink Patterns
- Added a new clap-style pattern "PPn"
- Renamed "PPP" to "PPPn" with a new clap icon
- PPPn / PPn can now be placed as a single cue in BPM mode
- BPM entry for new scores is now a drum-roll picker (60-200)

■ Improvements & Fixes
- Smoother tracking while dragging the color wheel
- Faster color transmission to the penlight
- Fixed the analysis range not being applied in auto-generation
- Fixed the BPM picker overlapping the time-signature row
- Fixed the color swatch size changing between cues on the playback screen

■ Note
Multi-penlight / multi-track features are temporarily hidden in this version while we complete additional testing.

### 1.4.1 — 2026-04-04

Improved BLE device connection stability.

- Fixed an issue where some penlight devices (such as FreFlow/LiveApp+ linked devices) could not be controlled when their BLE UUIDs varied by firmware or manufacturing lot.

### 1.4 — 2026-04-02

Experimental support for FreFlow / LiveApp+ lightsticks
Added support for concert lightsticks used by ARASHI, Hey! Say! JUMP, SUPER EIGHT, and more. Connect via the auto-detection feature.
