It would all be funny, but it’s not that even the tourist office does not have a bus and tram map. They just kind of laugh at for one like you are crazy to want people who live here say they just had to ride every route until they figured them out. Why do I have to use a ridiculous physical card instead of my iphone? The buses, trams, and trains are integrated, making travel in Nice and in the region quite easy. The cars and coaches are all clean and comfortable (but can be crowded at times because the system is used by everyone). For anyone staying in Nice for a week or more, I highly recommend the 7-day pass. You can get them at machines at the tram stops and perhaps at other places. We have been to many of the nearby towns - Cannes, Antibes, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Monaco, and St. Jean Cap Ferrat by the Lignes. Once you have your card, it’s a simple swipe of the card on the reader and off you go.
