### 3/5 — Overall useful app, when it isn’t crashing

Lately the app has been crashing a lot when I go to measure. I have tried everything from updating my IOS, reinstalling the app...it didn’t do this before so is kind of frustrating. Otherwise, when it is working it is great!
Update: June 2021. Still crashing. Developers please fix, I want to use my shorts:(

I haven’t used to buy jeans but for tracking measurements it’s hard to get consistent results. You adjust them just a little and it could throw it off. Also annoying that you have to sign in EVERY single time!

Works for measuring, but useless for finding pants if you’re plus sized. The app has said “Plus size coming Spring 2018” for a year now. I’d never have bought them if I’d known they wouldn’t come through.

Plus size catalog is almost 2 seasons late.  It’s the only reason I broke down to buy this product. For plus sized jeans, you may need the extra space in a totally different place than another, so I was excited to have the choices narrowed for me.  So far, I’m not impressed.

I bought this product to track my measurements over time, not for online shopping. The functionality of the app for measurement tracking is poor- hard to visualize measurements and viewing change over time could be so much better. The app is set up for shopping, and it’s annoying that it takes so many clicks to measure and view “progress” (whatever that means).

It does not select jeans based on your measurements. In preferences, you pick two brands of jeans you like and what size you typically wear in them. Then, when it comes time to select jeans for you, it just picks the sizes you picked irrespective of your measurements. I selected size ten in my preferences. I measured myself and the app recommended jeans around size ten. I then adjusted my preferences and said the jeans I wore were a size six. Then, the app selected jeans for me that were around a size six. But my measurements were the same. I cannot be both a size six and a size ten. The selecting jeans portion does not work.

Found a pair of jeans I love from a brand I’d never tried, but every.single.time I try to measure the app crashes and I need to redownload it to get it to work.

I use the tool to track fitness, and I like it. If you put it on the same way every time, it will give very consistent measurements. The reason why I don’t give the app full stars, is that there is no way to delete measurements from the progress overview. Please add that as a app feature.

I purchased the smart shorts with a view to tracking waist and hip measurements more consistently than a tape measure. I’m not sure how that will work due to there being potential for variability in how the shorts are positioned but time will tell.
From a fitness user point of view I’d like the graph to be able to plot/display all my measurements as single point data. I’d also love integration/sharing of data with Apple Health as this seems a real lost opportunity in the app design.
The online clothes catalogue feature is a bonus for me rather than the reason I purchased. I like the concept as do struggle with getting jeans to fit but haven’t yet tried this feature out with jeans purchases. 
In summary I think this app/the smart shorts have a bit of a identity crisis. Is the main purpose fitness tracking or to aid clothing size selection? 
However, I really like the concept and was fully aware this was a developmental product when I purchased. For me the above mentioned points Re tracking and sharing of measurement data would really add to this package. Maybe even separate out with a fitness based app and a separate clothing recommendation app?
Good luck to the developers with future features and updates.

Unlike many people here, I had no problems with the leggings measuring me. I tried on several different suggestions and they were all spot on. 

The customer service was fantastic. Quick to reply, all questions answered.

The brand selection is sorely lacking and outdated. Several brands list styles that are no longer made, and newer styles aren’t listed. 

I don’t think I’ve seen a single update to their catalog for the entirety of owning these leggings – at least a year and a half. As a matter fact, I don’t know that they’ve *ever* updated their catalog. 

That’s what’s so frustrating about this app. They’ve created an innovative product, putting in a ton of resources, and dropped the ball with the most important part - the ability to find your perfect pair of jeans.

I have not tried any of the suggested pants, because the measurements are very inaccurate. Measure twice in one setting- get different results! Measure night, again in morning- gain two inches! Measure 36” around the waist at 5”6, get recommended tight skinny jeans, size 27! Save your money.

I hate shopping so I decided to try these. Ordered a suggested pair and the waist was too small and the legs were way too baggy. There is no way on the app to give negative feedback. If you think these sound too good to be true, you're right.

I was in the process of signing up. They ask you to pick your favorite jeans and size you currently wear. I could do neither. My favorite brand was not there. So I picked a brand I used to wear and they didn’t have my size. I just picked one and moved on. The. It asks for your weight and age. They don’t have my weight available as a choice. Was very excited. Not anymore.

You spend $70 on the leggings, then you will spend a lot on return shipping for all the jeans that don’t fit. For starters, their measurements of my body don’t match what I get with a tape measure. I can accept that. But then their suggested pants sizes don’t match the sizing charts for the clothing brands. I decided to trust Like A Glove because I paid so much for the fancy leggings. But nope, I couldn’t even get a single leg into the pants they recommended. Don’t waste your money! Also, the functionality of the app is vey amateur.

I paid $80 plus shipping for these, tried it, and they recommended about 80 pairs of jeans and all of them had a three star recommendation.  There was absolutely no differentiation in terms of which jeans would be the best fit, they were all the exact same. I feel like my choices have not been narrowed at all and I am in the same place as I was before but with almost $100 less money in my pocket.  I was going to buy two pair, one for my daughter, glad I did not.

They advertised the hell out of this product on Facebook and said they made a plus size version so I bought it. The app is really amateur and needs a lot of work. I have better measurement apps that I have for free. Then the other reason I bought this was because it would be able to match me to plus size clothing that work with my measurements. The app still says “Plus size jeans catalog is coming spring 2018” it’s October.

This is awful. Just downloaded. Tried to use the app & it won’t go past the sign in page—it will not allow me to hit next. Just spinning & spinning, then crashes & shuts down. If I can’t even use the app how I am I supposed to use the product. Just awful & frustrating.  Wish I could give a zero.

I easily used the app and it measured me at a 46 waist. The app says it sized for up to a 52 in waist. So after I’m measured it tells me there is no plus sized catalog!  Are you kidding me?!? Don’t waste your money on this if you are using this to find a decent fitted jeans and are not a size 0-10. Wish I could rate this less than 1 star. Y’all better have a good explanation!

I was in the habit of weighing myself while working out and eating healthy. With my workouts being weights only, I wasn’t seeing any movement on the scale - nothing! I was blown away to see my measurements dropping while the scale stayed the same. This was a mental game changer for me to break the unhealthy relationship with the scale.

After reading these reviews I was surprised how well it worked for me right out of the box. I even double checked my measurements with measuring tape and they match up within about 0.5in, or less, which is awfully close. I had quite a few jeans to choose from for my size which also surprised me because I’m at the very top of the size spectrum for this product. I got this to have another way to track my weight loss so we’ll see how tracking goes but so far it’s met my expectations perfectly.
