You can tell that AI is writing the content but I imagine this will get better over time. It's nice that the free trial shows you everything you can get, that's really helpful. My main gripe is I guess being evolutionary astrology they do your chart in placidus, no option for whole sign or other house systems. My life makes no sense in placidus, does not track, might as well be a sidereal chart, so I don't see the value for me. I wouldn't pay unless there was a whole sign chart option. ### 3/5 — Astrología for Grown Ups, written by Teens *2025-12-21, version 1.1.9* I’m a traditional astrologer, and although use different methods, I appreciate that the astrology is sound. However, the copy is a bit too “pop” for my taste, and clever to the point of obscure. I get the urge to appeal to the Tik Tok crowd; at 40, I’m hardly the target demographic. I have tried them all, and I’m not exaggerating even a little. I’ve thrown a lot of money away on astrology apps that were superficial, incorrect, just ok, and/or severely lacking. This app has everything you could ever want and it’s in a whole different universe from most bubblegum astrology. It’s deep and hits you in the feels. It also calls me out better than any tarot reading I’ve ever had 😂. I have learned so much and had a few AHA moments, a little late to rescue a relationship, but maybe that’s as it should be. I’m navigating some turbulence right now and the Lila app is a fantastic guiding star. I loved the extended free trial as it has enabled me time to really get to know the layout and content. They’ll then take a solid 10 days to get back to you when you explain that you do in fact have a problem… and they’ll tell YOU to do things differently in future, and still won’t manage to solve the problem by simply updating an email address and resending. These people do not care about you or your experience. There are lots of other astrology apps out there whose people will actually treat you with kindness. ### 1/5 — The new Chiron interpretation is Yikes. *2025-10-14* I have loved the app until now. But The Chiron interpretations are everything I hate about old school astrology. Reductive, unsparingly negative and leaving one to feel they are “fated” to doom. Which was everything I thought Steven Forrest was not. I’m not sure telling everyone born in a 2-9 year period that they will be physically disabled or diseased but learn gifts from these physical limitations (Chiron in Taurus) is a wise course of action. Hard to believe a generation of ppl are all fated to be disabled or diseased bc Chiron is in Taurus. And there are no other interpretations for this? I notice we would never do this for the nodes. We’d never suggest EVERYONE with SN in Pisces is going to be a drunk or drug addict. Instead we’d talk about the many ways we can escape from our lives negatively. Is there the possibility that Chiron in Taurus might show up differently for different ppl? Not just disease and disability but a preoccupation with pleasure or with looks? Or a problem with the love life? And the same thing happens with the house sign and Chiron. Out of all the things a house can symbolize ONE thing is chosen for an entire generation of ppl? Sloppy work. You can be brief on an app AND still be nuanced. Jesus Christ I’m now being told by Steven Forrest of all ppl I’m “fated” to be disabled and have near ones to me die suddenly. That’s the kind of thing Steven used to warn astrologers against doing!!!! I couldn‘t log back in, it said my password was wrong. So far all my fault but now I am waiting already for 10 days (not a typo) for them to help me recover my account…. I‘m told they are busy because of Holidays. But common, I am a paying customer just needing access to my account again - not impressed with support ### 1/5 — What is going on with this app? *2024-07-14, version 1.0.70* I love Stephen Forrest’s approach and breadth of astrological knowledge, but what? Don’t cheap out on a developer! I tried signing up and bugs were there from the start. First, I entered my birthday and it reverted to today’s date when it created my account. Okay, maybe that was my mistake by not touching confirm or something. Then, I chose a profile picture from my gallery and it just didn’t upload it. Then, I went to go change my birthday in the settings and it asks for my phone number. I give it and then a confirmation code comes via text. Pretty normal. I enter it and the app says it doesn’t work. What? Then after a bit and no notification or anything, it says it has my phone number. Bugs are stacking up, but honestly I don’t care cause I’m here for the meat. But the app is starting to show it’s validity. Then I go to look at my chart and all the houses are off! I have been looking at my chart for years. They are way off. I go to double check the birth time and that is correct. Maybe it is still grabbing from the wrong date for the houses? After jumping hoops and 8 email exchanges I was told that there was a “mistake” in the advertisement. Specifically, that it was for android users only even though that was not mentioned. Seems like support is greedy and deceitful. ### 1/5 — Do not purchase premium! *2024-03-20, version 1.0.66* I purchased in November and it never registered on the app that I had bought the extra features. I emailed the support team within a few weeks to explain the issue and get help with it. After several promises of refunds, escalations and follow ups that never happened, I was told 5 months later to request a refund through Apple. It appears it’s past Apple’s refund window, which is probably why they waited so long to direct me that way. But none of this would be possible without you, our early supporters!” …I’m not sure where you’re buying coffee for nearly $9 but this meager show of appreciation is beyond disappointing especially when your users were led to believe that the paid version would include worthy information “in addition to the content that we know and love” The accessible features for the unpaid version are unremarkable monotonous details that everyone has read. Even to those that are new to astrology. I understand the tremendous work that went into this apps creation and know that it is essential to be able to pay a livable wage to the team that maintains its function. I had such high hopes this would replace co-star with reliable knowledge to offer the new generation that will keep the study alive. I guess greed is more important. Consider giving the option to watch an ad to see behind each paywall. Or breaking down sections that can be purchased individually to access like Astro Matrix, Time passages, Astro Future, Time Nomad, Horos. All of which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that have more affordable subscriptions yet aren’t rendered useless should you choose not to buy it. ### 1/5 — Outstanding *2023-09-19, version 1.0.55* I cannot say enough good things about this app, I seriously have not come up against one annoyance, flaw or con. No ads. No continuous hassle pop ups trying to sell you crap you don’t want. This is the most comprehensive and insanely detailed information and the content offered is vast. I hope they never change this because even though I’m new to the app I’m already obsessed with it. Thank you developers for being awesome and not greedy. The sprinkle a few rid bits of useless information throughout (kind of) for free, the free information could be found on one of a million other MUCH better applications that isn’t trying to force you into poverty. I’m beyond disgusted and disappointed, deleted my account, unfollowed on the ‘gram and I fully intend to blast these developers to everyone I recommended them to. This was so disheartening, if I could give less than 1*, I would. Oh and just so you know, this was an ad free, free application. The update made it $79.99 a year, oh but for us early subscribers, the early birds who had the app already, wrote them wonderful reviews and supported their app publicly, well we get a special one time “early bird” offer of $59.99 for our first year!!
