### 1/5 — Please remove generative AI.

I originally found Lilo because I was searching for any search engine that did NOT use generative AI, even in optional features. I find supporting AI to be unethical for many reasons ranging from mass data theft to huge energy consumption to the propagation of false information, among others. When I found it, Lilo seemed perfect: private, charitable, and completely devoid of generative AI! Imagine my horror when not even a week after making it my primary search engine, Lilo introduced "Flash Response:" an AI tool summarizing search results. I will be switching to a different search engine as soon as I can find a suitable alternative.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback, AI represents a major shift, and we chose to integrate it responsibly by:
- Keeping the Flash Answer optional > you can enable or disable it anytime.
- Using privacy-friendly AI with no data collection.
- Supporting sovereign, French-developed AI for tech independence.
Lilo’s mission remains the same: to fund non-profits for free through your searches.
You can disable Flash Answer via your account settings or directly from a search.

I like the intentions of this app, my suggestions would be a dark mode, ability to translate websites into the language we choose (such as from French to English) and some more publicity.

My browser of choice is typically Ecosia, however this is blocked by my school Wi-Fi, so I am for the moment using Lilo at school. I hope it can be improved even if I revert to using Ecosia.

(Edit: 21 novembre 2019): Tout d'abord, merci pour votre réponse à mon commentaire, ce n'est pas tous les développeurs qui ferraient ça! Le fait également que vous écoutez les avis des utilisateurs est un point en plus pour vous. Depuis la mise à jour 2.1.0, votre moteur de recherche est devenu quasiment parfait! 
Je dirais que la seule chose qui manque, c'est un bouton partager sur les sites Web. Bref, bravo Lilo!

(12 novembre 2019) Lilo est un excellent moteur de recherche, mais cette nouvelle version n'est pas optimisé (notamment pour les iPads) et pour changer d'onglet, ça prend un temps fou! Et le fait que tous les onglets se suppriment quand on redémare l'application me dérange beaucoup, ce n'est vraiment pas pratique. J'ai dû dire à des amis de ne pas mettre à jour l'application. Désolé Lilo, vous avez tout mon respect, mais cette version n'est pas vraiment idéale...

Lilo est un très bon moteur de recherche, mais je pense que vous préparez encore de nouvelle MAJ car un point assez important ne fonctionne pas. Quand on fait un recherche et que l’on veut voir dans image et que on clique sur les images beaucoup ne s’affiche pas.
A part ce point point je conseille dans mon entourage.

I use Lilo on all my devices and like the concept. however the iOS App won’t let me sign up to synchronise the Drops collected and other features such as favourites, history etc.
Tried to reboot, did not help to fix it
