### 4/5 — Great Game but still a few Issues

*2019-05-08*

I’ve really loved playing this game! I was fascinated by the Wii demo and I never really bought that one and by time I wanted to the shop was closed, which was disappointing. I really would like to give this game 5 stars, but I see a few consistent issues.
1. The level not finishing corresponding to the Wii version.
I’m not sure if this is my device’s fault (IPhone SE) but the levels I play seem to finish earlier than normal. The only level that seemed unaffected at the time was Two Byte, which actually finished on normal timing. I was a bit disappointed to see only that level working properly.

2. Level music not on sync.
This also seems to happen when the level abruptly ends early. This one also is largely noticeable on a fast level like Sprnt, where the first taps are on a section that is far past where it is supposed to be. This happened to me in the final 5 levels.

3. Random speed ups.
This one is the one that makes me upset the most.
Occasionally when I play a level, cancel out of it, and go back into it, the level is much faster. I really dislike this because it can make a level near impossible to play and the only way to stop it is by fully closing the app.

These are a few things I hope can be patched. If you would like any more info please just drop a reply and I will email you. Otherwise great game, great concept, and I really hope to see much more from the likes of Different Cloth! :)

### 4/5 — Super

Bitte mehr Level

### 4/5 — Love Dubstep, love this

*2011-08-03*

I'm a music game fan in general, and was surprised to find out this game was all dubstep when I first played it on the Wii. The $2.99 price point seemed steep, but after playing Groove Coaster I remembered this game and broke down and bought it for the phone.

The game is great, music amazing, and controls feel responsive. There are a few things that make it feel less polished though. The app doesn't yet support Retina displays (jagged edges, must look horrid on iPad). And at the ends of the levels, the music simply cuts off- a bit of reverb/delay tails would have solved this. But as it is, the end of the level seems almost as jarring as losing halfway.

Overall, great game. I feel like $2.99 is still steep for what you get (still worth the purchase for the soundtrack) but if retina graphics were added and a little more polish to the game and UI, it would be a no-brainer for any music game/dubstep fan.

### 4/5 — Good game

*2011-06-25*

Really great music and graphics. Interesting concept. I wish the music faded out at the end of the level, but it's not much of a complaint.

### 5/5 — Simple, efficace, addictif

*2011-03-12*

### 5/5 — Genuinely awesome music...

*2010-12-04*

...makes a good game great

### 5/5 — SCOOP!

*2010-12-04*

That is all.

### 5/5 — It's Beautiful

*2010-10-08*

Love the retro graphics and the wonderful music! But how about making the file size smaller?

### 5/5 — Great game!

*2010-06-16*

Filthy dubstep and great gameplay. Winning combination.

### 4/5 — I want moar!!

*2010-04-28*

Loving this game. Great concept. Hope to see more!!!!!

(the music is Dubstep. If you don't like electronic music this might not be for you)

### 5/5 — My favourite music game on the AppStore

*2010-04-13*

Fresh, original dubstep from a producer with talent integrated into a wonderfully simple pickup-and-go gaming concept. Highly recommended!

### 5/5 — Love it

*2010-03-26*

I love dubstep and I love this game. Add a random level generator that lets you play through the whole song after you beat each level. And a visualizer type thing so you can just listen and watch the sp erm swim through the trippy v agina 'cuz I hate destroying these beautiful beats when I mess up.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Awful

*2016-06-09*

Lousy controls timed to poorly synced levels with terrible dubstep

### 1/5 — This is a great game, but controls are difficult...

*2016-05-07*

I had this game on the wii, and it's waaaay too much fun 👍 But on the iPhone, it's hard to see things while your moving your phone around. It would be nice if you could adjust sensitivity so it will be more responsive with less movement. It also is a little slow in response, even on an iPhone 6. All of these together make it almost impossible to play 😕

### 1/5 — na ja!!!

*2009-05-27*

To the developer:
I like the game idea and the music, but the game is too short: not enough tunes and why does every map end in the middle of a tune (most tunes could be 5-6 minutes), mostly without any climax in the level design (except maybe seesaw & spirit dust)? Feels a bit loveless...
A well thought-out scoring system (get points for a perfect hit, etc..) and some other game modes would help, too.
Please fix the sync for iPhone users: it is slightly out of sync at the moment (maybe add a option to adjust the delay).
The minimalistic graphics are decent, but the main menu is a bit messy (could use some anitaliasing, a cleaner layout and maybe some different font than helvetica,) and more use of the color transforming would be awesome.
Some tweaking and the game could be really good.

### 3/5 — Change update please

*2021-02-16*

I want like version wii i wish that please

### 3/5 — It's okay overall

*2013-11-07*

The music is good and I like the generally chill feel of the game. However I think there can be some big presentation improvements. The game feels very choppy and rough. More should be done on making it a smooth experience, or even optimizing it for the retina display. Additionally I wish the controls were a bit smoother. Sometimes I feel like I tap a beat on time but it's still off. Finally, I wish every time I tapped the beat there were colorful flashes of lines across the screen, like in the Wii version. Overall I think this game should be suited for iOS more but the wii version still ends up better.

### 3/5 — Ough ough ou...

*2013-11-02*

This is good music game but in my 3GS sometimes was trouble of control! I like play on lilt line but i feel like a dj in some levels.
Thanks for $ale guys!
Wait NEW levels...
Goodluck; )

### 3/5 — Different

*2010-12-04*

Its a pretty fun game and a different take on rythm games. the music really draws you in but the asthetics are quite basic and get a bit stale. Other than that its neato.

SCOOP!

### 3/5 — Old graphics, could use different music genres

*2010-07-01*

It's alright. Needs more music and definitely DIFFERENT GENRES. I would also like to see better graphics. The background colors are mere gradients! Add more pizazz to the game! Different menu too!

### 3/5 — Umsetzung misslungen...

*2010-03-12*

### 5/5 — Electronic music meets old school arcade

*2017-11-07*

One of my favourite games here on iOS. I love how it combines the visuals, colours and the music, and how they work all together. It’s simple but it works beautifully and I love playing this game.

### 5/5 — Can't sleep!!

*2017-06-23*

I can't put my phone down because of this game! I love it.

### 5/5 — Phatty tunes!!

*2013-10-04*

Crank some massive headphones, brain splodes. Iration style

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2012-11-13*

Sure, some more polish and extra tracks would be nice. But it's a fantastic idea executed in a original style

### 5/5 — Dubstep Flavour

*2012-06-13*

Great concept. Nice idea for a game. Could do with a few more features, some more tracks etc. Reducing file size might help too... All that said I really enjoyed this (headphones recommended) good to chill out to.
Graphics could do with a little touch up, a little more variation of colour schemes would be good to see. Well done though!
5 Stars

### 5/5 — Lilt is cool!

*2012-03-02*

I first bough this game on WiiWare and loved it! When I saw it was availible for the IPhone I bough it right away. I can't understand the bad ratings! The controls are tight, the music is great. Whoever says the tracks are to short has not tried to finish the levels on perfect! I did that on WiiWare and must say that 2 minutes can be very long :P
It would be great to see a 2nd game like this! I would even buy a full version if it had enough levels and a little more details! Buy this game! It is worth the money! For best sound quality use some good headphones!

### 5/5 — Aaaaaaaaamazing!!!!

*2011-04-23*

Really cool and addictive! Can't stop playing it! Loving the music and the minimalistic graphics.
