I am a pretty loyal customer having done 250km with Lime but unfortunately I will now have to switch as there are no offers in place for loyal customers. Also, the Lime bikes need maintenance and are always dirty. ### 1/5 — ！！利用上の注意！！ *2026-08-18* これはあくまで私が経験したことです。 東京都内を20分ほど乗車し、ポートに返却しようとしたところ確実に駐輪の空きスペースがあり、かつアプリ上でも空きがある旨の表示もあったにも関わらず、「駐輪できない」という趣旨の表示が出て、返却できない事態が発生。 そこでアプリ上でその旨を報告し、緊急的な駐輪を行った。場所はポート内。 その結果、意味はわからないが違法駐車であるとして、6000円が請求されている。カスタマーサービスに連絡をしているがおよそ1日が経っても返信はない。おそらく電話対応は行っていないと見られ（少なくとも私は見つけられない）、リアルタイムでのやり取りも困難な状況。 この他にも、他の口コミにもあるとおり、いくつもポートを移動したり、急に電源が落ちるなどの不具合も経験した。 これは私の経験なのですべての人に当てはまるものではないと思うが、あくまで私個人の経験として共有します。 ご利用の際の参考になれば幸いです。 ### 1/5 — SCAM!! *2026-08-17, version 3.277.0* I was having so much fun riding the scooter until it started beeping (low battery). I eventually got to my destination and dropped off the other passenger. I was heading to the parking zone until it died. I was like oh okay that’s fine until it started CHARGING ME when it’s dead. I had to walk the rest of the way and had to pay double price. MAKE SURE TO LOOK AT THE BATTERY THATS HOW THEY GET YOU. ### 1/5 — Lime scooter *2026-08-17, version 3.277.0* One of the worst experiences I ever had riding the Lime scooter kept locking up for no reason and it’s instructions sounded like gibberish when I tried to cancel the ride. It said I had to park at a parking lot that was too far away on top of that my scooter was locking up so I couldn’t get it over there and I ended up paying. Way more than I initially intended to horrible experience I wouldn’t recommend. ### 1/5 — Awful Experience *2026-08-17, version 3.277.0* Customer service non existent don’t even bother ### 1/5 — Throttles first ride to charge you extra, zero support *2026-08-17, version 3.277.0* I tried using Lime for the first time to try to get to an appointment, but it was extremely slow. It turns out that they deliberately throttle your speed on the first ride, which they only tell you AFTER you start your ride, so they can charge you extra for the longer ride. I ended my ride and submitted a request for a refund for this deceptive practice, but it’s been one week and no one has contacted me. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Dangerous abrupt stop to ride *2026-08-22, version 3.278.0* I buy prepaid minutes in blocks of 45 or 60 minutes etc. when I am in a ride approaching zero minutes the Lime bike will all of a sudden stop and freeze up. If you try to push the bike to get it out of the road the beeping alarm starts up. Doesn’t matter that you are in traffic. No warning. I just had to leave the bike in the road. Very dangerous to arbitrarily stop a rider when vehicles could be bearing down on them. ### 1/5 — Terrible UX *2026-08-22, version 3.278.0* Forest app wasn’t working, so had to go with expensiLime. Terrible decision, I unlocked a bike and started to ride, when decided to end the ride I discovered that the whole area was red and parking prohibited. Why don’t make it already clear when you hiring it by colorings the map??? I’ve ended up riding another 30 min just to find a parking spot. ### 1/5 — 😡 *2026-08-22, version 3.278.0* Elle s’arrête sans arrêt même hors les zones rouge ### 1/5 — For some reason i got a charge *2026-08-22, version 3.278.0* I don’t even use this app ### 1/5 — Not happy *2026-08-21, version 3.278.0* Please stop charging my account ### 1/5 — Awful app *2026-08-21, version 3.278.0* Over priced, no parking, god awful customer service.. go with someone else ### 1/5 — Price increase *2026-08-21, version 3.278.0* New minute pricing makes bikes more expensive than public transport ### 1/5 — 悪意の塊に思える *2026-08-19* 先日から使い始めましたが、借りる事は出来るのに返却しようとするとエラーになって返却出来ません。 最終的にヘルプの『返却出来ない場合…』というところからメールでやり取りしていたら突然遠隔でロックされて返却になりました。 ここまでは良いのですが、実際にポートに着いてから遠隔のロックまで30分程掛かり、その間もしっかり料金が発生しています。 返金を求めるメールを送りましたが、そのメールに対しては英語で「この問題についてはチームで検討します（翻訳したらこんな内容でした）。」とメールが来た限り2日間音沙汰なしです。 また、もう使いたく無いのでアカウントを削除しようとするとまた英語で 『このウェブサイトは、オンライン攻撃から身を守るためにセキュリティサービスを利用しています。先ほど実行された操作がセキュリティソリューションをトリガーしました。このブロックをトリガーする可能性のある操作はいくつかあり、特定の単語やフレーズの送信、SQLコマンド、または不形式のデータを送信することが含まれます。 これを解決するために何ができますか？ サイト所有者にメールを送って、ブロックされたことを知らせることができます。このページが表示されたときに何をしていたか、そしてページ下部にある Cloudflare Ray ID を含めてください。』 と英語で表示され、あたかも私がオンライン攻撃したかの様なメッセージが出ます。 1.貸す時はスムーズに貸すのに返却は受け付けず、その分の料金もしっかり取る。 2.オーバーして取った料金の返金には応じない。（お金の問題ではなく運営の健全性の問題だと思います。） 3.アカウントを削除しようとするとその相手をオンライン攻撃者の様に仕立てて拒否する。 書こうと思えばいくらでもありますが、特に上記の３点についてこのアプリは使うべきではないと思います。 皆さん気をつけて下さい。 ### 1/5 — こんな酷いアプリと会社は無い *2026-08-19* 安かろう悪かろうの代表的な海外企業。これじゃループやドコモチャリには勝てない。 まずマップが日本に適して無い、駅名がローマ字表記、JRの線路が表示されていないので、一瞬で自分がどこにいるか把握出来ない。 次にポートがかなりズレてる、隣のビルなどにあるのは当たり前で、通りの向かいのビルなんて事も多々ある、結局時間がかかり、料金が上がる。 そして重要なのは返却ポートがまず無い、行きたい場所で返却出来ないので、目的地へ遠いが空いているポートに強引に返却し途中から歩く、これでは借りる意味がない。 そしてそして何と一番最悪なのは返却ポートに辿り着いても返却が出来ない‼️アプリのバグで返却出来ませんの一点張りでアプリを切れない、当然料金が跳ね上がる💢運営に電話は無くメールすると英語で返信される、本気で対応するつもりが無いんだと理解した、ダメだこりゃの呆れるしかない… これでは事故など何かあった時に対応出来ないだろうし、そもそも返却ポートも無い、こんなサービス利用するだけで不快になりリスクが高くお金の損。ループかドコモのチャリを利用する事をお勧めします。 因みに返却出来ない症状が発生した場合はヘルプからアプリを終了できないの項目に状況を入れて送信すると、運営側からのリモート終了なのか突然ロックがかかり返却になります。 このアプリのレビューを見れば分かりますが、借りる時はスムーズで返す時はエラーになり時間がかかり料金がが上がるシステムです、要は詐欺に近い海外企業です。 簡単にまとめると怒り心頭になるレンタルチャリ屋です💢 使うのやめましょう！ ### 1/5 — Bike reservations *2026-08-19, version 3.278.0* Extremely horrible experience of getting to the bike first to find out it is booked by a person who’s no where to be seen then I would go from one bike to the other to keep saying it is booked find another bike and more often than not all bikes are reserved and would have to find another mean of transport after I had payed monthly for the service. It should be first comes first served. The cracka sparrow truely is Mother Nature arising into her first moments of her next 24hrs. Going to keep this short and sweet. Now that the Lime’s have fallen and are nicely dispersed across the nature strips, foot paths, parks, woods and hoods…I really think to keep them nicely wedged together in their clusters is to start up the Lemon Wedge Hedge Stations where they are located in a fantastic proximity to thriving hubs and a short stroll to the central thoroughfare gateways to the particular areas or city fringe locations upon where they can be located, familiarised and where the Lime riders know exactly where to head in order to keep the city in a beautiful harmonious order and not just dumped and parked wherever. Bring the Lemon Hedge Wedge Stations into effect. This way the ones responsible for charging, maintaining, counting, and locating the X amount in question knows exactly where they will be and over a wide berth and grace period let’s slowly get Lime riders familiar with this locations and into the habit of returning them to the Lemon Station and if they just want to park and dump where they like then slowly they’ll realise that we need to keep Australia beautiful and by keeping these electronic machines order accounted for, not dumped in a pond, front porch, sand pit or at the bottom of 8 flights of stairs with no ramp going back up will be respected, appreciated and will looks so bitterly beautiful that it will make this city not only shine in green and gold but will just look fantastic!! Thank you for this mornings bike ride where the streets had no name whilst we caned down the lanes. Penny’s thoughts.
