## What is LiNA Connect?

LiNA Connect - the commissioning APP for the Blu2Light system.


With LiNA Connect you can easily set up any Blu2Light system with your tablet.

Blu2Light Bluetooth® System AT A GLANCE
- Open Standard means that this technology is accessible, developable and usable for all market partners.
- No additional router required
- Increased network security ensures optimal protection against illegal access even before and of course during commissioning (light hijacking).
- The 4-level security concept:
- Individual password in the app and at cloud level for users and administrators.
- Unique product reference code in the form of a QR code
-Mesh connections are encrypted (128 bit/AES)
- Bluetooth® communication is encrypted (128 bit/AES)
- Immediate compatibility with any Bluetooth® module with Nordic nRF52 chipset (currently based on BT 4.2) Adaptations to other manufacturers are possible.
- Self-healing mesh network with high performance by using all 40 Bluetooth® channels for data transmission and distribution
- An event-based operating system allows to define 250 incoming and outgoing events per Bluetooth® device (switching, dimming, color, timer, etc.)
- All Blu2Light components can work as a stand-alone system, form a Bluetooth® mesh network with several hundred devices and be integrated into building systems via an Internet-of-Things structure.
- Control and commissioning of the complete system is done
via the LiNA Connect APP (for configuration)
and LiNA Touch APP (for operation).
- When combining Blu2Light components with drivers with
already integrated Active DALI technology (e.g. VS B2L ready DALI
LED drivers), no separate power supply for the sensor is required.
- Blu2Light devices with DALI bus can be combined with any DALI driver via the DALI standard.
- Integration of EnOcean switches/buttons with Bluetooth® possible (PTM 215B)
- OTA update of the system (Bluetooth® mesh
and operating system) possible

### 3.5.0 — 2025-11-20

With this version we have worked on the following topics:

New Features:
-	Possibility for the user to renew the system key.
-	Node replacement: A failed B2L node can be replaced with a new node of the same type.
-	New button in the app to trigger reformation of the B2L mesh.
-	Renew user profile with the press of a button. Afterwards, the QR code must be redistributed to users.

Improvements:
-	Acceleration of data processing within the BlueRange Mesh.
-	Blu2Light Relay – Preconfigured operating mode, motor start-up delay compensation setting, setting of different operating times for up/down and tilting left/right.

Fixes:
-	Implementation of a notice stating that simultaneous use of threshold and light control is excluded.

With this version we have worked on the following topics:

New Features:
-	Simple Bluetooth transfer of the configuration file via mesh-network.
-	A motion sensor can now include a threshold value from the local light sensor, which makes it possible to switch the light during the day and save energy costs.

Improvements:
-	The test button in the scene settings now allows the functional group to be left in auto mode.
-	Sequences can now optionally be restarted from the beginning.

Fixes:
-	The DMX output is now smoothed depending on the fade times and all visible steps are removed. Without fade time, the colour change takes place without delay.
-	If the associated FG is deleted in a node in conjunction with DT-8 drivers (TC and XY) and a new express setup is performed, the channels in the newly created FG are now linked correctly.
-	Retention of the DALI addresses when searching again.

-	Extension of the test button function with the option of setting an FG to automatic or manual mode.
-	Follow Mode DMX for the transmission of dimming levels.

Improvement:
-	Symbol overlays in the FG are no longer overwritten.

Fixes:
-	Fixed a bug where the name of the first node was also displayed for subsequent scanned nodes during “continuous import” in the LiNA Connect app.
-	Fixed a crash of the LiNA Connect app when scanning the QR code.

New Features:

- Blind control via Blu2Light relay.

- DT8 functionality for the Blu2Light Smart Night NC-GPS/NC/N-ME product family.

- Function can be activated to set the LED to “Identify” as soon as motion is detected.
  (This function is used to make it easier to set up the motion detection by sensor)



Improvement:

- 2 new functional groups for the tilt angle in blind mode.

- Blu2Light relay has visible functional group.

- If the “Power on level” is reset, the node executes the action, as if a power on cycle had just been
  Run through.
- Interface for event trigger via GW (enables movement events from another mesh).

- B2L Server DEMO: Colour control via GW (A colour call always sets the FG to the "manual" state).


Fixes:

- "Manual reference movement" button is available in blind mode (Blu2Light relay).
