I’ve had my Lindo doorbell for around 4 years, I think. It works great, sort of. Despite my Plus subscription, the recorded events are rarely more than 3 seconds recently, and less than 1 second for the last week or so. This makes it practically useless, because it doesn’t capture anything useful on the camera AT ALL. The app itself is kind of goofy, not particularly intuitive, has terrible “support” options, and there are no options for selecting video length. Edit: several months later, my recordings WITH the paid upgrade are still 3 seconds or less, NONE of the issues I’ve sent to customer service have received a response, much less been addressed. Great product, ZERO support. Don’t waste your money. 👎👎 ### 1/5 — App needs overhaul *2025-08-23* This app worked fine for a while until it didnt. Clarity of view was first to go on the blitz. Then focus started getting problematic until finally, after 2 years an annoying popup want me to change my settings and allow the app to access my phone privacy album which is non existant on iphone 16, every time i reviewed an alert. And alerts would get out of hand whenever it rains as well. The app needs some updates fixed or retire it and bring in a better one but ever since they stopped selling these on amazon. The company has gone dark. There hasn’t been an update in over a year so… ### 1/5 — Out Of Business *2025-05-08* Seems to have shut down with no communication. Don’t waste your money ### 2/5 — Device is Offline *2024-10-03* Very unstable! Although it’s connected to my WiFi, it’s stuck on “Device is Offline” and I’m unable to view live play on the app. So if you received a package and you’ happen to be out of town, you cannot view anything. It’s completely useless! It worked fine for awhile then it just stopped working altogether. ## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Love my Lindo!! *2023-02-16, version 1.1.5* This doorbell is far superior to the other video doorbells. The app works great. I have had no problems with it. It’s a great company to deal with. If you have any issues or glitches they are more than helpful and quick to respond! This doorbell replaced a Eufy which was terrible.
