A: Yes, this feature is now available! Go to the Me tab and it should be self-explanatory to add a dependent. Q: Will you work with my GP? A: Yes. The Lindsay & Gilmour pharmacy app works with the majority of NHS GPs in Scotland. All of your prescription requests will be sent for approval to your own GP. (This doesn't guarantee your GP will issue a prescription.) Q: If I already order my prescriptions directly with my GP, do I still need your app? A: It is helpful to use our new app. You can still order from your GP; the improvement is now that your pharmacy, via our app, will tell you when your medication is ready to collect or be delivered, and resolve any issues on your behalf with your GP. You can also get free medication advice from your Lindsay & Gilmour pharmacy with in-app messaging. Q: Is my personal information safe? A: Yes. Since then, I’ve been inundated with emails, texts, and “cutesy” push messages BEGGING me to add a prescription. I can’t tell you how many times every day I’ve been interrupted by sometimes multiple identical messages within moments of each other. It’s infuriating! There doesn’t seem to be a way to make it stop, short of deactivating all messages or deleting the app, which means I won’t get the functionality and may as well just phone in my Rx. What a disaster this app is. It will be a month before I need a refill; I’ll likely delete it and reinstall then—or maybe just choose another pharmacy altogether. ### 5/5 — Service *2026-07-06* Gr8 Service This So Easy To Order Medication Ta ### 3/5 — App *2026-07-02* The only down side is that I don’t get a text when my prescription is ready to pick up so I can get it after my work. Also I have to always phone up to see if my prescription is ready even though am registered for the text system ### 5/5 — Excellent Service *2026-04-23* I find using the app to order my prescription is easier and quicker. The app is easy to navigate, I am kept up to date with the progress of my order and get a text message when it is ready for collection. It takes less time to order on the app too. I will definitely keep ordering my meds this way. ### 3/5 — Ordering and collection on app *2025-04-01* It’s a hit or miss ordering on app. I love its convenience but in December they had no record of my order despite me having the evidence. They then said I didn’t have a repeat prescription. I went to GP surgery who said couldn’t understand why chemist told me that and printed me off prescription. I was told better to call to make sure they have order and that it’s ready rather than rely on app telling me it’s ready. Kind of defeats the purpose! ### 1/5 — This app is not at all user friendly *2024-10-06* It’s always an ordeal trying to find the correct route to simply reorder a prescription.
