Im using m1 mac and i cant figure out how to play. 3 stars until i figure it out. ### 2/5 — REMOVE ADS! *2018-05-04, version 4.5* I’m giving this app a two star rating because it’s a little fun. It would be a lot of fun if it weren’t for the STUPID ADS! They’re annoying and randomly pop up. One time one popped up while I was playing! Also either slow down the person or make the spacing in between objects farther because this game is impossible. Yeah okay. ### 2/5 — Another good game ruined by ads *2015-03-29, version 2.5* This game used to a nice, simple yet challenging , addictive game to play, and one of the few worth purchasing. I should never have updated it, because now it's full of ads, despite what I paid. When the banners change it creates a slight lag, which can cause you to lose the game. On top of the banners, it will throw a full screen ad right when you are about to hit the screen to restart, and you end up clicking the ad. I understand developers need to advertise to make money but 1)don't push ads on people who have already paid for the game and 2)don't have ads that interfere with gameplay. I've had this game for years, but with this last update, it's ruined. Uninstall. ### 4/5 — Line runner *2013-01-01, version 2.3* At first, line runner seemed very difficult, and hard to do. However, after much practice this is now my favorite game!! It is very addicting and quick speed and I love it. For all those people reading this, practice, practice, practice and this game will probably become one of your favorites.😄however, what I recommend is different levels. For example, beginner, intermediate, advanced, expert. Each level should be based on the line runners speed, because this quick speed is very difficult for beginners. ### 4/5 — Line Runner Review *2012-11-21, version 2.3* When my friend first recommended this game, and I looked at it, I thought it was just some boring game where you jumped and ducked until you kill yourself on one course over and over again. I mean, that's what it is, right? Not at all. It is a game in which you are a stick figure, traveling to endless courses, trying desperately to get the high score, and sometimes yelling at your stick figure "Why did you die?!" and sometimes having blood squirt out of him, which is actually pretty funny. So, overall, I'd have to say that this is a pretty good game to play on your iPod. ### 4/5 — Line Runner Review *2012-07-29, version 2.0* I like this game, but I think it isn't worth your money! I think it should start off slow, and get faster as you go on! I also think there should be an ending and you have to get to the end to unlock the next level! I think it should be a free app not a .99 app! I also think the graphics could be better and the sound is quite annoying! Another change I think that should be made is the app needs color, not just plain black and white! Overall it is a pretty good app and a good way to pass time when you are board! ### 3/5 — Fun, but challenging *2012-07-04, version 1.9* The game is definitely unique and it's fun, but it took me a long time to just get past a distance of 20 - maybe a little too long. Even when you first start out, the runner is REALLY fast, and the obstacles are pretty close together - not many breaks, if any. This is what I wish the game would be like: When you first start out, the runner is very slow and the obstacles are fairly easy. If you reach a certain distance, the next track is unlocked, and the runner gets a little faster. (In the real game, all the tracks are available immediately when you start the game.) The runner increases speed and the obstacles increase in difficulty with every level. Also, throughout the game there are certain objectives - for example, only jumping through the obstacles - and when you unlock all of them, a special track is unlocked, The reason I added some things was because the only real point in the game is too beat your furthest distance, and it gets kind of boring after awhile. Overall, the game is pretty good, but it could be better. ### 3/5 — Iran *2012-06-22, version 1.9* I died. Twice. On the SAME LEVEL. I couldn't find the Dpad. There's an extreme lack of powerups and almost no 1-ups. The enemies look like they were ripped out of an Atari 2600 game, while your character can pass off as the guy from Ninja Gaiden. Speaking of which, that begs the question why I can only wall jump in level 2, but not the other 9!!! I'm obvoiusly hoping they fix these problems in the sequel, but I have my doubts about whether or not it'll be an open 3-d world with a few more enemies and not so tough boss fights. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Absolutely obnoxious *2023-06-17* Cannot even play the game because the developer decided to link it to their other game. Disappointing and annoying. Literally cannot even click play on the game without it taking you to the App Store for a different game. It's the only game on the iPhone that I keep coming back to. Both for its simplicity and its addictiveness. However for some reason the game keeps crashing whenever I try to start it! The problem started yesterday when I updated my iPhone software, so maybe the game just hasn't updated for iOS 6? But whatever it is I am very disappointed. The problem is also on another game of his I downloaded called Base Jumper which got solid reviews as well. But I would definitely recommend this game. By far the best I have ever played on the iPhone. ### 5/5 — AWESOME! Can't put it down! *2012-09-30, version 2.1* I love this game and I play it every day! How about in the next update, you know how you press the right to jump and the left to roll? How about in those places you have buttons you can press that make him do the roll & jump? But after five minutes it gets boring. Add a new feature and update or something... I love this game overall :) It feels like this game is a real fad all of the sudden though... This was the very first time I've tried it ever. I've been laying off the game, thinking it would be just another cheap, boring, and too easy game. But, don't let the stick figure and almost nil graphics fool you...it really is a challenging game. I'm wondering if I'll ever get past the very first "run" and see what other obstacles await. This game is probably thee best free application ever made-especially for those who are bored with doodle jump. If you can't walk and chew gum at the same time-forget about trying this game. I give this game two thumbs up. So, go ahead and try it-you've got absolutely nothing to lose...besides, it's free!!! *by the way, I'm not being paid to write this review.
