## What is LineageProof?

Build a private family archive where important facts can point back to their evidence.

CREATE A CLEAR FAMILY TREE
Add people and parent, child, or spouse relationships in an easy-to-read tree. Import an existing GEDCOM archive or start with a new local file.

KEEP EVIDENCE BESIDE THE FACTS
Attach a document, photo, scan, or pasted text to the relevant person. LineageProof keeps original evidence files inside the app's local container.

REVIEW ON-DEVICE OCR
Apple Vision can read visible text on this device. Recognized names and dates remain editable candidates until you verify or reject them. The app never treats OCR as historical truth.

FIND AND RESOLVE CONFLICTS
Compare competing values for the same fact, inspect their sources, and choose which version to verify. Rejected values remain part of the audit trail.

EXPORT WORK YOU CONTROL
Create GEDCOM, readable PDF, spreadsheet-ready CSV, or a ZIP bundle containing every export plus original evidence files. Files leave the app only when you choose a destination in Apple's share sheet.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No developer account, backend, cloud sync, ads, analytics, tracking, crash-reporting SDK, or third-party AI. Archive data and OCR processing stay on the device. Optional archive lock uses Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode through Apple's system authentication.

PAID DOWNLOAD
The complete app is included with purchase. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, ads, or external checkout.

LineageProof organizes user-provided sources. It does not prove identity, legal relationships, inheritance rights, biological ancestry, DNA, or historical truth. Users are responsible for the rights and accuracy of material they import.
