### 2/5 — Kind of hate it

*2026-08-14, version 3.1.0*

I have to use this after my daycare switched from ProCare, it’s not a choice for me, but if you are a daycare provider I do not recommend contracting this particular app. From a parent’s prospective, the most important thing - pictures - are incredibly bad quality and make me want to switch daycares to have higher resolution pictures again. These are our children’s memories, not just proof of life. Other smaller gripes include - Parents do not receive push notifications for sign-in/out - would be a helpful feature for parents who switch off drop offs and pick ups, and sign-in at the kiosk is clunky to enter manually. If you’re requiring a phone number and pin, you should offer a number pad instead of a keyboard. Anyways, sincerely disappointed that my daycare switched, that’s all, thanks!

### 4/5 — All In One Platform

*2025-10-10, version 3.0.2*

I do love how the system is all-in-one. We have everything from CRM to billing to the parent platform. I love how it’s all connected. LL is constantly evolving and does ask for feedback from users and often incorporates into the system. There have been some kinks, but some of them are on the user end 😜, however, if the kinks are on LL end- they are quick to chat, and usually quick to fix the issue.
We are excited to how LL will grow in the future and hopefully add curriculum to the package.

### 1/5 — Too many hiccups

*2025-09-02, version 3.0.2*

It is very upsetting that Lineleader has so many technical issues! It was the first day of school today and new parents were not even able to receive photos of their child because of technical issues. The only thing was said from a rep was “we are aware of this issue” … like no fix the issue! Businesses are paying too much money for this many technical issues.

### 1/5 — Can’t cancel

*2025-08-20, version 3.0.2*

My daughter did not even go one day and they keep trying to charge my account over $200. They already took $166 and Molly return that even though she did not go for even one day. I could not find any person to talk to cancelemail. There’s no way to get a hold of anybody. Use your bank card and not your account, because at least, then you can dispute it.

### 1/5 — Find a Better Option

*2025-08-07, version 3.0.2*

Daycare switched from a different platform and I wish they’d go back. The concept is great, but the app itself is not well executed. It signs you out often, and signing back in can be a nightmare. You’ll receive an email saying you have a message, the app shows there is a message, but you can’t open it or get the page to load. This app requires updates and each time the program is worse. If you can, avoid this one.

### 2/5 — App is slow

*2025-06-28, version 3.0.1*

App has some good features but performance is slow. Menus and feeds can be slow to load. Seems a little half baked.

### 1/5 — Get your basic act right

*2025-05-27, version 3.0.1*

Parents are in a hurry and can’t be organized to remember all possible things, this app made it more complicated than what it has to be. No proper auth flow, no proper notifications flow, no clear content visible, no proper password recovery flow, these are the bare minimum basics which should work correctly in an app. You’ll go extinct if you continue this product, you better rewrite it correctly, or someone else will. My login doesn’t work, one random day it decided to log me out and since then I’m not using this app and dunno how to reset it

### 1/5 — Not Helpful

*2025-04-13, version 2.2.3*

I wanted to love this app because I am forced to use it. I just don’t love it though. It is clunky. There are so many steps to getting to the most basic thing like check in. Why not just one check in button or one “I’m here.” button? Why must I click I’m here, then choose from several buttons how far away I am (I’m already here!) then click “I’m here.” Messages aren’t easy to get to, and pictures posted are often blurry.

### 1/5 — Awful App

*2025-03-31, version 2.2.3*

Terrible app, the content never loads. Very frustrating.

### 1/5 — F/ an Admin & Parent

*2025-03-27, version 2.2.3*

I have used the system, both from the administrative side and the parent side. Both sides are terrible in user experience and functionality. Our childcare chain switched over to line leader and moment path from an indicated system, and we all thought it would be a great upgrade. It turns out, the reports are terrible and the parent interaction side of the process is just as bad. I would give this zero stars if possible. If you are a parent and your child’sschool uses us ASAP, good luck. If you are an administrator and you’re looking for a system to fully integrate parent contact, billing, enrollment, and all of your reporting… Run away. I have zero good things to say about this program as a whole.

### 1/5 — Just trash

*2025-03-19, version 2.2.3*

Slower than Forrest Gump doing advanced calculus.

It takes at least 20 seconds to load mail, that I’ve already got an alert for.

Ghost notifications take forever to disappear.

And the organization is terrible.

### 1/5 — Garbage app

*2025-03-19, version 2.2.3*

The app is useless if you’re trying to view payment history, past invoices, or pretty much any information whatsoever with your account. It’s a joke

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2025-03-17, version 2.2.3*

The concept of this app is great. The functionality of it is terrible. Notifications don’t come through, the server is always down so you’re unable to even access the app, takes forever to load. We switched to LineLeader from a different platform at daycare sometime last year and we are switching back 6 months later. If the app actually worked I would love everything it has to offer. Unfortunately that is not the case.

### 1/5 — This app is so bad it has me worried what is happening with my child’s data

*2025-02-21, version 2.2.2*

This is scam level bad. It won’t even let me log in anymore. I can’t check him in for school. I can’t even see messages from his school about important updates. This is literally a safety issue.

### 2/5 — If it’s working, it’s fine. It just rarely works.

*2025-02-12*

Frequently have to restart the app, never sure if a (sometimes critical) message has been sent. Unfriendly UI. Push notifications are inconsistent. No option to opt out of emails in my account settings. App crashes when trying to check my child in and out. Low resolution images. But it’s got a calendar that lets me see meal planning, so there’s that, I guess.

Overall, this app has hindered my experience with my child’s daycare. Which is very unfortunate.

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2025-01-29, version 2.2.1*

It’s actually amazing that this app is still in business. It’s the slowest and laziest excuse of an app I’ve ever used. My childcare facility switched to LineLeader 6 months ago and it’s been such a let down. So happy to hear that they are going back to Procare soon so we won’t have to use this app much longer!

### 1/5 — Absolutely the worst for child care facilities

*2025-01-15, version 2.2.1*

The website is even worse than the app. There are no reports that are helpful for childcare centers. You cannot edit anything ever nor can you run reports that are fundamental for running a child care center. Most of the reports that you can even run can’t even be exported or printed off you have to copy and paste into a word document.

Update:
Still the absolute worst and trash of a website and app for childcare centers. They’re taking away functions that were actually useful. What is going on with this company, plus when you reach out to the helpdesk no one knows how to help you!

### 1/5 — The Worst

*2025-01-07, version 2.2.1*

I’m constantly being signed out. I never get the updates that a picture was posted. Absolutely the worst app for child care ever.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-09-02, version 3.1.0*

I work everyday with children. The app constantly doesn’t work which makes my job 10x more difficult. When I go to tag the names of each child’s name it says null ?? I then have to close it out to restart it and when I open it, it takes forever to load. Parents love updates with their children, so imagine how difficult it is to watch 11 kids while updating parents through the app and it doesn’t load? I hope we switch soon. I don’t recommend.

### 1/5 — Probably the worst maintained and functional app for care providers

*2026-05-11, version 3.0.8*

If it wasn’t required by our daycare to use this app, I would never use it. I would rather just get a paper summary at the end from the teacher than sometimes get access to the app, sometimes not, random crashes, duplicate push notifications, frequency timeouts etc.

I dont blame the devs, I blame their management team that doesn’t understand the importance of building a functional app, even if it takes longer to do, instead of shipping half baked features and broken experiences.

### 1/5 — SUCKS!!ZERO

*2026-05-11, version 3.0.8*

This app sucks! It is never working properly, constantly glitching and forcing you to close and re open the app. It takes way too long to load for a childcare app, we have too much to do to be waiting 5 minutes everytime we need to upload a diaper or meal. Parents are always complaining about it, how they don’t get notifications or how it doesn’t load properly for them. If a child isn’t clocked in you can’t add anything to their day at all. No messages or pictures unless you directly message the parents. The interface is clunky, and there are far too many options for so simple tasks. DO NOT GET IT!

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-05-11, version 3.0.8*

This app is awful. Our daycare provider recently switched and you get what you pay for. It’s really bad, always logs you out, constantly loading or freezing. Interface is bad and lazy, notifications are hit or miss and you can’t get a notification when you sign your child in or out?! Get used to the loading screen because that is what you will see most of the time.

### 1/5 — Not helpful for parents

*2026-05-08, version 3.0.8*

The fact that a picture uploaded by my daycare won’t show up on the parent side for a full business day is ridiculous. That’s not supporting the daycare or the parent. It constantly notifies twice and I have used customer support to fix it before. It’s just clunky and barely helpful

### 1/5 — Infuriatingly bad

*2026-03-05, version 3.0.8*

I’d like to shake the hands of the UX designers, product owners and software developers of this company who designed this utterly worthless app.

### 1/5 — annoyed

*2026-02-21, version 3.0.8*

I tried contacting them for a refund of my deposit, but they never returned it. How is it possible that school administrators allow programs like this? Furthermore, when there was a problem with an aide, everything fell apart. My daughter was discriminated against by them compared to another child, and they never did anything. At first, everything was fine, but then it became chaos when the school finally decided to discontinue the program because of all the problems. I was truly disappointed. They never returned my deposit, but they continued to charge me until the very end, even for the days my daughter didn't attend. In the end, they disconnected my account so I couldn't make any further claims. It's true, it's not much...

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-01-02, version 3.0.6*

Our daycare transitioned to this app about 18 months ago and it has been terrible. It constantly freezes and shuts down. The feature that allows you to let them know you’re coming doesn’t work 99% of the time.

### 1/5 — Their sale department convinced my daycare this app is good

*2025-09-11, version 3.0.2*

Not the best experience. I can put up with a lot of inconveniences but the worst offender is the email notifications. It is ineligible to read. To the point where I have to highlight it on my phone and paste it somewhere else to read it. Or the forcing us to find PIN code sent to our email so that we can verify ourselves in the app we signed in just to access the messages that we were told is there from the email notifications that is ineligible to read. Love it.

### 1/5 — Daycare Providers, look elsewhere!

*2025-09-02, version 3.0.2*

As a parent and as a teacher, in theory this app should be great but unfortunately it’s the opposite! It constantly freezes and kicks you out of the classroom. You have to constantly shut the app and reload it. We struggle big time getting the pictures to post and the app isn’t working constantly. You can’t send anything or edit posts to kids that aren’t actively checked in. Customer service is rude and unhelpful as well. Just bc this app is cheaper than others, doesn’t mean you go for this instead. Time is too important and it’s not worth losing so much of it on this app unfortunately. Hopefully the app developers can fix it soon!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Regional Director

*2025-10-09, version 3.0.2*

We have used this app since we opened and it has help us greatly with streamlining tours and pulling in leads.

### 5/5 — Great app!!

*2025-09-14, version 3.0.2*

Love the app…great way to see what my child is up to, especially now that we are at a new school.

### 5/5 — My Sidekick!

*2024-11-19, version 2.1.20*

It’s such a pleasure having this app! Everything we need is in one place to review pictures, communicate with staff, and see what’s going on with the kiddos. This is a requirement for us going forward!

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2024-10-16, version 2.1.17*

I am a parent and I find this app extremely helpful to keep up to date with my toddlers day at school. I am able to message my teachers and also receive pictures of my child throughout the day. I can also pay my bill online which is helpful.

### 5/5 — Good App!

*2024-10-15*

The LineLeader app has gotten a lot better over the past 10-12 months. It is reliable and does everything it needs to do for a parent, plus some.

### 5/5 — Widget

*2024-04-21, version 2.1.11*

For those who don’t know widgets are like folders on your devices Home Screen, they also stand out more, gives priority. And every time I use this app it takes me a second to search through my phone to pull it up for sign in/out. I’m just saying it would be much easier with a widget that puts me right into the part that scans the QR code. Think you guys can make something like that? I would imagine it being simple.

### 5/5 — Great app for parents

*2024-03-06, version 2.1.10*

I love this app. It allows me to see what is going on at my child’s school. I get great photos from my child’s teachers. I can also message my child’s teacher and admin staff and pay my bill. Great app. Make sure and update to the latest release as it seems to fix some issues from prior release

### 5/5 — Very useful!

*2024-03-06, version 2.1.10*

The functionality is great and our company loves using this app!

### 5/5 — No more scraps of paper!

*2023-03-03*

I’m used to seeing my child’s day through a half sheet of paper stuffed into their backpack. With this app, her teacher can send me updates through her whole day and it sends me an email recapping everything she did, ate, learned, and more! Plus it’s so much easier to make payments than at other centers.

### 5/5 — Parent Experience

*2021-08-12*

I love using this app to check in on what my child is doing throughout the day. Due to the pandemic, I have never been able to meet my child’s teacher face to face. MomentPath gives me the chance to connect with my teacher even when the world looks a little different. Overall great experience!
