## What is LineLedger?

Your check can look right and still come up short. LineLedger checks it.

Snap or upload your pay stub. LineLedger checks it against the hours you logged and YOUR labor agreement, at the rate for the dates you worked and your classification, and tells you if it came up short and by about how much.

Built for journeyman linemen. No account, no sign-up. Free to start.

CHECK YOUR PAY
• Pay audit: your logged straight time, overtime, double time, per diem and missed meals are checked against what your agreement says, with the contract sections cited.
• Results come back plain: Looks Good, Minor Issues, You Got Shorted, or Need More Info, with an estimated amount owed when the agreement gives a clean number.
• Also looks at deductions on the stub, including withholding, Social Security, Medicare, and your working dues against the agreement's dues rate when the agreement states one.
• Fix-it Check: when a contractor fixes a short check, see whether "8 hours straight" came back as "4 hours double time" and left NEAP and Lineco four hours short. Share it with your business rep.

ASK YOUR AGREEMENT
• Upload your labor agreement (PDF, scanned pages too) and ask plain-English questions: overtime, per diem, subsistence, meal penalties, holidays, rates, show-up pay.
• Answers quote the agreement and cite the section they came from. If a rate isn't in your agreement, it won't make one up.

CHECK YOUR BENEFITS
• Upload your quarterly NEAP or Lineco statement. LineLedger checks the hours the fund was told against the hours in your book, month by month.
• NEAP statements by payroll month: each month's dollars are turned back into hours against the days you logged. Short months, months that never got reported, and money that came in late all get flagged.
• Fund Rules: set how NEAP, NEBF, Lineco and your local's funds are paid (per hour or percent of gross), or let it read them off your agreement. Nothing counts until you OK it.

CREDENTIALS WALLET
• Keep your CPR, OSHA 10, DOT physical, letter of rec and dues receipt in one place, locked behind Face ID.
• Reminders 30 days before something expires and on the day it does.

LOG YOUR HOURS
• Log each day fast: straight time, overtime, double time, per diem and missed meals. Big buttons, usable with gloves on.
• Dictate your daily notes by voice.
• Attach time sheets and pay stubs to each pay week.

FREE VS. PRO
Free:
• Hour logging, agreement upload, stub and time sheet attach, NEAP/Lineco statement checks, Fix-it Check, credentials wallet.
• 5 free LineLedger Cloud AI uses in total, shared across pay audits, agreement chat, Fund Rules reads and statement reads.
• Unlimited AI with the on-device model (iPhones with Apple Intelligence) or your own API key.
LineLedger Pro ($7.99/month or $59.99/year):
• Unlimited LineLedger Cloud AI: pay audits, agreement chat, and Fund Rules and statement reads.
• New subscribers get a 7-day free trial.

PRIVACY
• No account and no sign-up. Your ledger lives on your phone.
• To answer a question or audit a period, LineLedger sends that contract text and pay data to its AI provider. It asks before the first time anything leaves your phone. Prefer to keep everything local? Switch to the on-device model in Settings and nothing leaves your phone.

LineLedger is a helper, not legal advice, and it can make mistakes. It doesn't check shift differentials, zone pay or travel pay. Verify anything important with your hall or business rep before acting on it.

SUBSCRIPTION
LineLedger Pro is an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly) for unlimited Cloud analysis and agreement chat. Payment is charged to your Apple Account and renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.7 — 2026-10-11

Housekeeping. Nothing changes in how your hours, your contract or your funds are read — the numbers come out exactly the same as 1.6.

### 1.6 — 2026-09-12

Fixes a bug that could report a shortage that wasn't there — or miss a real one.

LineLedger reads your NEAP rate off the wage table in your own agreement now,
one row per effective date, so an April check is judged at April's rate instead
of whatever rate was current the day you first read the agreement.

If the table can't tell which row is yours — an apprentice, an equipment
operator, a footnoted classification — the app says so and asks you for the
rate off your fringe sheet, instead of guessing.

And when a rule you've OK'd doesn't match what your agreement's wage schedule
prints for that day, LineLedger stops and shows you both instead of picking one.
It never changes or deletes a rule you've confirmed.

### 1.5 — 2026-09-09

Fund Rules now reads your NEAP rate.

Plenty of agreements never print the NEAP rate in a sentence. Ours gives a minimum and then points at the wage exhibit in the back — and that is where the real number lives, different for a journeyman, a foreman, a general foreman, a groundman, an operator and every apprentice period.

LineLedger now reads that table. Hit Read Agreement and it fills in the NEAP rate for your own classification, and tells you which effective-date column it came from so you can check it against your fringe sheet before you confirm it.

It also stopped losing funds to a page footer. On a long agreement the footer gets pulled into the middle of a sentence, and it was splitting the NEAP heading away from its own clause. That is why NEAP came back empty while Lineco HRA came through fine.

When your classification carries a footnote in the agreement, or the app cannot read a number cleanly, it says so and asks you to type it instead of guessing. A wrong rate is worse than no rate when you are checking your own paycheck.

### 1.4 — 2026-09-07

Fund Rules now reads your agreement properly.

• Read from agreement was hit and miss. On the same contract it could come back with a different set of funds each time, and NEAP usually never came back at all. Three separate causes, all fixed.
• The page footer your contract repeats on every page was landing in the middle of sentences, which broke any clause running across a page break. LineLedger strips it now — and re-reads the agreements you already uploaded, so there is nothing for you to redo.
• When a fund's rate lives only in a wage table — NEAP almost always does — you now get the fund and how it is figured, and you type the rate off your fringe sheet. Before you got nothing at all for that fund.
• A clause that starts "HRA:" is read as the HRA instead of being thrown away.
• Ask the same question twice and you get the same answer. That goes for the agreement chat and the pay audit too, not just Fund Rules.

### 1.3 — 2026-09-06

Catch the funds getting shorted, not just the check.

• Fund Rules — tell LineLedger how NEAP, NEBF, Lineco and your local's funds get paid under each contractor's agreement, or let it read the rules off the agreement and confirm them against your fringe sheet. Nothing counts until you flip "That's right".
• Fix-it Check — when a contractor makes a short check right, enter what the fix-it stub shows and see what each fund actually got. Eight straight hours paid back as four hours of double time squares the check and leaves NEAP and Lineco four hours short. Share the result with your business rep.
• Working dues — a fix coded outside gross never has the check-off taken out. LineLedger says when the hall is short too.
• NEAP statements by payroll month — copy the contributions table off your statement and each month's dollars are turned back into hours against the days you logged, with flags for money that came in late or a month that was never reported.
• The consent screen before anything leaves your phone now says exactly what goes out for each kind of check.
