## What is Lineup IQ v2?

LineupIQ is a fair-play lineup generator built for youth baseball coaches who want every kid to get an equal shot.

Volunteer coaches juggle 12 kids, 6 innings, 10 positions, and a season's worth of fairness math. LineupIQ does the math so you can focus on the game.

• Generates lineups that give every player equal field time across the season

• Builds batting orders using slot-fairness math — every kid gets time in the heart of the lineup
• Tournament mode adds a 10th fielder (CF) for the elimination rounds when the rules allow it

HOW IT WORKS

LineupIQ uses position-rotation rules built into youth baseball (max innings at the same position, every player gets at least one infield inning, pitcher and catcher require qualified players). Player skill ratings act as gentle tiebreakers, not primary drivers — fairness always comes first.

The fairness dashboard scores your team across the season on field-time balance, position diversity, batting-order rotation, and pitching distribution. You see where things drift, and the next lineup auto-corrects.

PRIVACY-FIRST DESIGN

LineupIQ is built for youth sports. We do not show kid data to other teams. We do not sell information. Photos and rosters are team-scoped — only your team's coaches and parents see your team's data. Push notifications are opt-in from Settings, never on launch. Account deletion is in the app, no email required.

TOURNAMENT MODE

LineupIQ supports the 10-fielder tournament format used in many youth leagues — CF row included in the position grid and on the printed lineup card. Switch modes per game without resetting your roster.
