Soccer coach changed from TeamSnap to this app. Unfortunately, it’s not compatible with my son’s google pixel phone. I now have to be the go between so my Varsity player can get the schedule and communications. This is a nightmare. **Developer response:** Hi Raincee, Thanks for your review. The issue was raised by your coach and I updated the Google Play store immediately so you should now be able to install Lineup on Pixel phones. Thanks, Mark ### 1/5 — Fix the Calendar Sync *2026-06-23* The fact that you can’t fully sync the calendars is horribly inconvenient. You have to go into every practice/event separately and sync each one. Such a waste of time and NOT convenient, please fix! **Developer response:** Hi Nopeditynopes, Thanks for trying out Lineup and for taking the time to write a review. I can see why this would be frustrating and to be honest, it wasn't something that I'd considered until now so I really do appreciate this valuable feedback as it helps me make Lineup the best it can be for coaches, teams, players and parents. I build the app from the feedback I receive from users and have now added the ability for users to be able to copy a calendar link and auto subscribe to their full schedule of events which will be automatically added, updated and deleted. Thanks again, Mark ### 2/5 — Unable to add players *2024-08-30* Saw the app and it looked promising. The features on this app are quite amazing but the only downfall that makes this app utterly terrible is I can’t add players which loses its fundamental use of this app **Developer response:** Hi Lowkey, Thanks for trying out the app and I’m sorry you’re having trouble. I’ve looked at the problem and there doesn’t appear to be anything failing when creating a casual/temporary player. To create a casual player you press on the Teams tab, then the 3 dots in the top right corner of the screen, select “Create Player”, add some details (first name is required) and press Save. If you’re trying to add friends, you simply need to share the team joining code (please note that the joining code is case sensitive) with them and ask them to sign up and enter the joining code to join your team. I hope the issue is resolved for you if you try again otherwise please reach out to me via the support link in the account section and I’ll work through it with you to resolve any issues. The subscription is currently only for adding additional teams which helps cover running costs and supports future feature development. Thanks, Mark ### 5/5 — Best app around *2026-01-20* By far the best football app around in terms of having everything you need in one place for a coach of either a youth team or an adult team. It makes everything just so much easier in terms of tracking stats and following the game live, adding events as they happen. I coach an U12s team (2025/2026 season) And I’d be lost without this as the kids get older they all want to know top goal scorer, top assists etc, and this app is perfect for all those stats, and to look back on games. ### 5/5 — Head and shoulders above other apps! *2025-11-19* Tried numerous apps for managing a grassroots team. This app is by far the best. Well considered layout and feature rich.
