### 2/5 — It’s okay

*2026-08-31, version 8.7.0*

Was good but you have to pay to continue and I want to learn more but without spending money

### 4/5 — Appli géniale mais…

*2026-08-21*

Ein anderes Beispiel ist หายเร็วๆนะ (hǎai reo-reo ná).

หายเร็วๆนะ – hǎai reo-reo ná
Sinngemäß: Ich hoffe, dir geht es bald besser.
Wörtlich: Werde bald/schnell wieder gesund. (freundlich/liebevoll)

*2026-08-15*

**Developer response:** Hi!

Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear that you’re enjoying Ling overall.

We understand your concern about being prompted to subscribe after completing a lesson. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as we want the learning experience to feel enjoyable rather than pressured.

We’ll share your feedback with our team so they can review how these prompts are presented and consider ways to improve the experience for learners.

Thank you again for helping us make Ling better!

### 4/5 — Good app but a little buggy

*2026-08-03, version 8.5.0*

The app itself is great, but every time I attempt to do a speaking lesson, the app will just randomly freeze and stay stuck in a loading screen. The only way to fix it is to refresh the app, which loses all the progress within the lesson. Please fix as soon as possible.

**Developer response:** Hi! Thank you so much for your wonderful review!

We're thrilled to hear how much your confidence has grown. Knowing that Ling has helped you progress from speaking at an intermediate level to speaking with confidence is exactly the kind of success story that inspires our team.

Keep up the fantastic work, and we wish you continued success on your language-learning journey! If you ever need any assistance, feel free to reach out to us at support@ling-app.com.

### 4/5 — Cute monkey

*2026-08-02, version 8.5.0*

I really love this app and how cute the monkey is. The only thing is I’m twelve and it’s kinda hard to learn at such a fast paise. I really like it tho. It makes learning Thai a lot more fun than some of the other apps. Anyway it would be great if they slowed down the pace a little (lot🙈)

### 2/5 — Updates mess up streaks

*2026-08-01, version 8.5.0*

Not only do the updates reset your streaks more often than not, but sometimes forced updates literally make the app unusable. I was doing a lesson and then the app forced me to update. After update, there is just the jumping monkey screen on infinite rewind. App is entirely unusable. I pay for a subscription and yet they break it for me.

### 3/5 — Yes, and

*2026-07-31, version 8.5.0*

I personally really like this app and I think the Ling monkey is adorable but I feel like it moves way too fast for me and I don’t like that that streak saver never works for me because there are days where I get really busy and don’t have time to do my lesson and it makes me really upset because I hate restarting streaks. i’m already on section 2, and I feel like I haven’t really picked up anything because it moves too fast for me :(

*2026-07-30*

**Developer response:** Hi! Thank you so much for your wonderful review!

We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying the latest updates and that you find the new structure makes learning easier and more organized. Knowing that the improvements have had a positive impact on your learning experience means a lot to our team.

We also appreciate your suggestion for a dedicated Thai alphabet feature that includes the initial and final consonant sounds. That's a great idea, and we'll be happy to share your feedback with our Content Team for consideration as we continue improving the Thai course.

Thank you again for your support and for helping us make Ling even better. We wish you continued success on your Thai language-learning journey! If you ever need any assistance, feel free to reach out to us at support@ling-app.com.

Recyl

### 5/5 — Not bad ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

*2026-07-26, version 8.4.4*

I am fluent at speaking Thai as I was born from Thailand and raised there for a bit but I haven’t learnt how to WRITE or READ Thai so I fell it would be more convenient if there were selectable categories such as “listening”, “writing”, “reading”, and “speaking”. It would be great for users who only want to learn a specific thing ig you know what I mean?

### 5/5 — My dream is Thai

*2026-07-25*

My dream is learning Thai kop Kun maak ling

**Developer response:** Hi Liya! Thank you so much for your wonderful review!

We're honored to be part of your journey toward achieving your dream of learning Thai. It means a lot to us to know that Ling is helping you work toward that goal.

Thank you very much for your kind words and support. We wish you continued success with your Thai studies, and we hope you enjoy every step of your language-learning journey.

### 5/5 — Super!

*2026-07-19*

**Developer response:** Hi Indelia! Thank you so much for sharing your story! We're delighted to hear that Ling has helped you reconnect with your Thai roots and given you the confidence to read and better understand your relatives. That's a wonderful achievement!

Becoming fluent takes time, but it sounds like you're making great progress. Keep practicing, and we're confident you'll continue improving with every lesson.

Thank you for choosing Ling to be part of your language-learning journey. If you ever need any assistance, feel free to contact us at support@ling-app.com.

### 5/5 — Je conseille

*2026-07-16*

**Developer response:** Hi! Thank you so much for your kind words and recommendation! We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying Ling and finding it helpful for learning a new language.

We also appreciate your suggestion about being able to skip speaking exercises. We completely understand that there are times or places where speaking out loud isn't possible, and we can see how that could interrupt your learning progress.

We'll be sure to share your feedback with our product team for consideration in future updates. Suggestions like yours help us improve the app and make it more flexible for learners in different situations.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts. We hope you continue enjoying your language learning journey with Ling! If you need help you can email us at support@ling-app.com. Regards, Recyl.

**Developer response:** Hi! Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we're sorry to hear about your experience.

Could you please email us at support@ling-app.com with a screen recording showing the behavior? This will help our team reproduce the issue and work on a fix.

Regarding the audio, Ling uses recordings from native speakers for the vast majority of our lessons. We appreciate your feedback on the audio quality and will share it with our content team.

Thank you again for bringing this to our attention, and we hope to resolve the issue for you soon.

Regards,
Recyl

### 1/5 — leider nur Hochformat

*2026-09-04*

**Developer response:** Hi!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the app is difficult to use on your iPad in landscape mode. We understand how frustrating it can be when the layout is not optimized for a larger screen.

We’ll share your feedback with our Development Team for consideration as we continue improving the app’s iPad experience.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please contact us at support@ling-app.com. Recyl.

### 1/5 — App freezes

### 1/5 — Bug de reconnaissance vocale

*2026-04-26*

**Developer response:** Hi Maridda! Thank you for your feedback, and we’re really sorry the voice recognition feature is still not working properly for you. We understand how disruptive this is, especially when it blocks your progress through lessons.

Our team is actively working on improving the speaking/voice recognition system, and we appreciate you letting us know the issue is still happening after the update. In the speaking game, we already have a button for users to skip the speaking practice. If you can provide more details about your suggestion will make sure to pass it to our team for future update consideration. You can email us at support@ling-app.com. Recyl

*2026-04-25*

**Developer response:** Hi! Thank you for your feedback, and we’re really sorry about the issue with your streak after the update.

We understand how frustrating it is to see your progress change unexpectedly.

Our team is already aware of the streak issue and is actively working on a fix. Please reach out to us right away at support@ling-app.com, so we can raise your case directly and assist you further.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding while we work on resolving this. Regards, Recyl

### 1/5 — Not working

*2026-04-17, version 8.0.1*

I love the app but every single time I purchase a subscription, it still says I am using the free version.

### 1/5 — no

*2026-03-21*

It's becoming increasingly difficult to use. I contacted support, but the issues I pointed out haven't been fixed. The site design has changed, making it even harder to use. Every time I start something, it returns to the initial screen. Doesn't the management even test it themselves?

**Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for your review and for taking the time to share your experience!

We hear you, and we're sorry the recent changes have caused frustration. Our latest update did introduce a redesigned UI based on feedback from many of our users who wanted a more gamified experience. We know that change isn't always welcome, especially when you're used to how things worked before.

We're also aware there was a bug causing the app to return to the initial screen, and we're happy to let you know this has now been resolved in our latest version. We'd recommend checking that your app is fully updated and giving it another go.

If you're still experiencing issues, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team at support@ling-app.com and they'll be happy to help get things sorted for you.

Cheers, Rob

### 1/5 — Keine Testmöglichkeit der Qualität, nur Abo-Option

*2026-03-19*

**Developer response:** Hi there, Thank you for your honest feedback! 🙏 You're absolutely right that 1:1 sessions with a native speaker are one of the fastest ways to progress — we actually recommend them ourselves! Ling is designed to complement that kind of learning, and for those who can't yet afford regular tutoring sessions, it offers a structured, affordable way to build a strong foundation.

We do want to make sure you can experience the app before committing — our yearly subscription includes a 7-day free trial. You're also welcome to reach out to us at support@ling-app.com and we'd be happy to set you up with a free trial so you can explore the audio quality and content for yourself.

We hope to win you over! Cheers, Rob

### 5/5 — Flash Cards for the win!!

*2026-08-27, version 8.6.3*

As a paying customer, I am really proud of the changes that have been made to this app. It keeps getting better and better. The ability to shuffle the flash cards is a MASSIVE improvement!! That will DRASTICALLY improve my ability to memorize the words. I do wish that ALL the new words made it to the review, and not just the words highlighted in the lessons. Keep up the good work!!
