I do not recommend this app. The developer initially offered and sold lifetime access, but then that lifetime access was effectively taken away from users: restoring in-app purchases does not work, and the app still keeps showing limits as if no purchase had ever been made.
Even with premium access, the vocabulary here is very poor. No matter which difficulty level you choose, the app keeps cycling through the same small set of very basic words, around 100-150, and possibly even fewer. For a paid product, this is an extremely weak standard.
I do not recommend paying for this. Before purchasing, it is better to carefully read reviews on different platforms, because there are a great many dissatisfied users.

No recomiendo esta aplicación. El desarrollador primero ofreció y vendió acceso de por vida, pero después ese acceso les fue prácticamente quitado a los usuarios: no es posible restaurar las compras dentro de la aplicación y la app sigue mostrando límites como si nunca se hubiera hecho ninguna compra.
Incluso con acceso prémium, el vocabulario aquí es muy pobre. Da igual el nivel de dificultad que elijas, la aplicación repite una y otra vez el mismo pequeño conjunto de palabras muy básicas, aproximadamente entre 100 y 150, y posiblemente incluso menos. Para un producto de pago, este nivel es extremadamente bajo.
No recomiendo pagar por esto. Antes de comprar, es mejor leer con atención las reseñas en distintas plataformas, porque hay muchísimos usuarios descontentos.

The developer deliberately distributed lifetime access codes and later revoked them. Lifetime access was first given away, then taken back and replaced with a one-year subscription presented as a “gesture of goodwill”. This is not goodwill but a clear substitution of previously promised conditions. Such a marketing tactic is misleading and should not be ignored. Users deserve transparency and fair treatment.

The developer of this app seems to believe that constantly changing the app icon will bring more revenue. Unfortunately, that is not the case. The app has many bugs, and when you report them, the developer ignores them and introduces new issues with every update instead of fixing existing ones. A serious problem appeared recently: every time you tap the widget to listen to a word or phrase, the app opens and shows the purchase screen, as if you never bought a subscription. It does not remember your purchase. Even if you press “Restore purchases”, close the app, and tap the widget again a minute later, it will ask you to restore or buy again. The app forces you to press “Restore purchase” many times a day, because it forgets your in-app purchase almost immediately after closing. This was the developer’s way to fix the issue where new words were not updating daily. Yes, now words update, but at what cost? Before, you had to manually refresh a new word once. Now you constantly have to restore your purchase just to make the app recognize that you already paid. The developer clearly does not prioritize usability or user experience.

В приложении много багов, и когда ты о них сообщаешь, разработчик их игнорирует и с каждым обновлением добавляет новые проблемы вместо исправления старых. Например, появилась серьёзная проблема: каждый раз, когда ты нажимаешь на виджет «прослушать слово или фразу», приложение открывается и показывает экран покупки, как будто ты не покупал подписку. Оно не помнит, что ты уже заплатил. Даже если нажать «восстановить покупки», закрыть приложение и через минуту снова нажать виджет, тебе снова предложат восстановить или купить. Приложение вынуждает пользователя много раз в день нажимать «восстановить покупку», потому что оно почти сразу после закрытия забывает, что покупка тебе принадлежит. Так разработчик попытался решить проблему с тем, что новые слова не обновлялись каждый день. Да, слова теперь обновляются, но какой ценой? Раньше нужно было один раз нажать «обновить новое слово». Теперь приходится постоянно восстанавливать покупку, чтобы приложение вообще поняло, что ты его уже купил. Разработчик явно не уделяет внимания удобству использования и пользовательскому опыту.

Por ejemplo, apareció un problema serio: cada vez que pulsas el widget para escuchar una palabra o frase, la app se abre y muestra la pantalla de compra, como si nunca hubieras comprado la suscripción. No recuerda tu compra. Incluso si pulsas “Restaurar compras”, cierras la app y un minuto después vuelves a pulsar el widget, te vuelve a pedir restaurar o comprar. La aplicación obliga al usuario a pulsar “Restaurar compra” muchas veces al día, porque olvida la compra integrada casi inmediatamente después de cerrarse. Así es como el desarrollador intentó solucionar el problema de que las palabras nuevas no se actualizaban diariamente. Sí, ahora se actualizan, pero ¿a qué precio? Antes solo tenías que actualizar la palabra nueva una vez manualmente. Ahora tienes que restaurar la compra constantemente para que la app reconozca que ya la compraste. Uyarısı geliyor. Ayrıca en büyük widget üzerinde bir süre sonra biliyoruma basmak işe yaramıyor tepki vermiyor! Ayrıca fransızcada kelimeyi artükelleri ile öğretirler ama uygulamanız bunu sağlamıyor.

I want to like this app more, but the developer has left it for beginners only. For Japanese, there is a mandatory pronunciation system that cannot be hidden and is a real detriment to learning and retention at the higher levels. I think all the elements of the widget should be customizable, specifically hidden or revealed, and for Japanese in particular the choice of using kana or romaji should be left to the user. Once that is implemented, I believe this could be a fantastic app. For future releases, the ability to import word lists from external sources would also be incredible.

Really cool app, really enjoyable but once you “know” 90 words you can’t “know” anymore so you’re stuck with the same widget unless you reset them all. Bit of a pain.
