One sentence a day. Learn a language from your morning alarm. Instead of a ringtone, one clear sentence in the language you're learning. You listen for about twenty seconds while still half asleep — and when you stop the alarm, the sentence opens up. ■ One sentence, every morning Over 1,800 sentences across 19 languages, all written and reviewed by us. Greetings and small talk, a short lift, gentle humor, phrases for travel and work — pick a theme and that's the morning you get. A different sentence every day. ■ It explains itself once you're up The meaning, two or three words worth learning with a note on how they're used, and one line that makes them stick. The kind of note a good language school gives you, right where you turned the alarm off. ■ Keep the ones you like Tap the heart and the sentence collects in your Log, ready to open again. ■ You choose how to stop it Just stop · type what you heard · say it back. Listening is the default — mornings shouldn't be hard. Pick a harder one and we ask once more. Three attempts always pass. ■ The alarm always rings In airplane mode, on silent, in Focus. It starts quiet and gets louder (you can turn that off). Stop means stopped — it behaves exactly like Apple's Clock. ■ Something to hear before bed A calm passage in your language, new every night. No ads. ## Version history (last 5 releases) ### 1.7 — 2026-09-10 The learning-language list now shows all 19 languages without searching — "Popular languages" first, then "Other languages". ### 1.6 — 2026-09-08 The speak-to-dismiss screen keeps its buttons in reach, however long the sentence. • Speak to dismiss: the mic and "Just stop for today" now stay on screen with long sentences and large text (they could be pushed off the bottom) • Changing your voice applies from the very next alarm — wherever you change it, including alarms that were switched off and sentences coming back for review • Fixed labels that were cut off at large text sizes (tab names, voice choice, difficulty answers) ### 1.5 — 2026-09-06 Rings with the sentence even after a restart, and now you pick the voice. • Fixed: after powering the phone off and on, the alarm could ring with the default sound before the first unlock • Choose a female or male voice — when you create your first alarm, and in alarm settings • "How was this one?" is now the main thing you see after stopping the alarm — your answer sets tomorrow's difficulty • Larger text, and a simpler sentence screen (sentence, meaning, key words, tip — no card) • The greeting follows the time of day — no "Good morning" at night • Changing the app language applies immediately ### 1.4 — 2026-09-03 A more dependable alarm. • Fixed: a deleted alarm could still ring the next morning • Fixed: the same alarm could be scheduled twice on launch • 'My sentences' alarms now show your own sentence on the dismiss screen • Say-it-back no longer double-counts attempts; Japanese and Chinese word chips light up • Log tab: graduated count and weekly checks are accurate again • Daily sound files are cleaned up to save storage ### 1.3 — 2026-09-03 Tell us how this morning's sentence felt — one tap. Tomorrow's sentence shifts to match. • After you stop the alarm: "How was this one?" — Hard to catch / Just right / Too easy • Say it was hard and we ease off; say it was easy and we step it up • One tap doesn't flip it — say the same thing twice and the level moves one step • Tracked per language you're learning.
