## What is LingoStash?

LingoStash helps you turn real translation moments into vocabulary you can keep practicing.

Translate a word or phrase, choose the meaning you actually want to remember, and save it to your personal word list. Your saved words become focused review cards so learning stays tied to the language you are already reading, hearing, and using.

What you can do with LingoStash:

• Translate words and short phrases between common languages
• Save selected meanings instead of cluttering your list with every possible translation
• Review saved vocabulary with calm spaced repetition practice
• Track words as unlearnt or learnt as your confidence grows
• Edit saved words and parts of speech when you need more control
• Practice present-tense French and Italian verb forms when saved verbs are available
• Continue locally without an account, or sign in to sync your vocabulary across devices

LingoStash now shows IPA pronunciation transcriptions for supported saved words, using Wiktionary data when available.
Tap the IPA help icon to see a guide tailored to the current word, including stress marks, syllable breaks, pronunciation variants, and plain-language sound hints.
This update also includes reliability improvements for pronunciation metadata, syncing, and vocabulary details.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-06-22

LingoStash now helps you practice in more places.
This update adds Quick Practice on Apple Watch, plus Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets for reviewing saved vocabulary at a glance. Practice sessions are richer too, with goals like Due Reviews, Quick 5, Focused 10, and Weak Spots, along with mastery labels, combo feedback, and clearer summaries.
You can also hear pronunciation for saved words and practice answers, and accent handling has been improved so near-correct answers are treated more helpfully.
