### 3/5 — Great, but recently not working

*2020-10-14, version 2.9*

I love this app and use it all the time with clients, but recently it has not been working for me. I sign in, but after buffering, it closes out. I’ve tried reopening multiple times, but it immediately closes and never launches. Do you know why that may be? I’ve also tried uninstalling and reinstalling too.

### 3/5 — Freezes

*2020-04-01, version 2.9*

This is a good app which I use with my speech, language and cognition patients. The biggest problem with the app is that the Sequencing task freezes every time that I use it which requires me to have to restart my i-Pad.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — It’s good when it works

*2025-05-04, version 3.1.1*

It worked the first time I opened it. Now I just get a white screen. Brand new iPad 2025. Uninstalling and reinstalling fixes temporarily but I’m tired of reinstalling every time I want to use it.

### 1/5 — If app only worked

*2025-04-09, version 3.1.1*

App rarely if ever actually works. Usually, just a blank white screen of death, as if it is queuing in the background, but never awakens.

### 1/5 — Keeps crashing

*2021-07-28, version 3.1.1*

It’s great if and when working!

Installed the first time, no problem, then less than a week it crashed. Called support who suggested to remove then install, which we did and another crash which my mom finally gave up.

Fortunately, she had other support toward her recovery, but she really prefers this app… count your blessings… oddly works better on PC, but on on iPad… whole different story.

Now here I am again after a year from her recovery and reinstalled for the umpteen time.. my dad had previously reinstalled, made calls, etc to get the app functioning… I’m doing the same again.

Believe me as I mentioned, Mom prefers this app and has helped her tremendously when the program is functioning …

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work, app won’t open

*2020-10-05, version 2.9*

I created an account and it said it would open shortly but it never did. I closed out and then tried to log in and the app just crashed. Tried several times and it crashed every time.

### 1/5 — Please update for iOS 14

*2020-09-22, version 2.9*

Please update ASAP. Crashes on iOS 14

### 1/5 — Infinite loop. Never sign in

*2017-04-02, version 2.5.2*

It never signs in. It stays forever on a loop. Useless.

### 1/5 — Can't use

*2016-09-23, version 2.5.1*

Crashed since update won't download

### 2/5 — Loved it but it quit working.

*2023-04-30, version 3.1.1*

I wish they could repair the app.

### 2/5 — Froze

*2021-02-18, version 3.1.1*

It just froze on me.

### 3/5 — App ‘freezes’

*2024-10-15, version 3.1.1*

I love this app for my clients, who use with their iPads. However recently it has been ‘freezing’. I have tried deleting and updating, with no improvement

## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love the update!

*2018-03-15, version 2.7*

I use this app everyday at work with my speech, language, and cognitive linguistic patients. I can now utilize this app with my Dysphagia patients. The swallow and oral motor videos are the best part.

### 5/5 — Best Aphasia Tool Available

*2017-11-15, version 2.6*

I've been using this to help my brother after he suffered a stroke and was diagnosed with severe global aphasia. It has especially helped him overcome his alexia, and he has become much better at reading. What he likes is that you can adjust the difficulty of the exercises and how many questions per session. The program also gives a chime sound and a green check mark when the patient answers the question correctly. The letters are easy to read, photos are clear, and instructions for each task are easy to understand. Each exercise has an example video that demonstrates what to do. This program is a lifesaver and we could not be happier.

### 5/5 — Free app

*2017-03-27*

I am on a limited budget and found this free app most beneficial to my road to recovery.

Hopefully I will be speaking normally soon and reading at my usual speed. Thanks to your helpful, easy to use, well thought out app.

### 5/5 — Must have

*2016-03-07, version 2.4*

I love this app! I love how it's free and simple to use. I love how I can do speech therapy on my iPad.

### 5/5 — SLP

*2015-04-03, version 2.1*

This is an amazing app for SLP clients! It provides a wide range of language/cognitive areas from single-word level language tasks for people with severe aphasia to very functional higher level cognitive tasks. There are 65 different activities under 7 different skill areas. Some of my favorite tasks include ADL: Menus, Recent Memory: Paragraph Detail and Reasoning: Sequencing Pictures which require higher level inferencing, executive functioning and attention to detail. The app allows the SLP to customize homework activities to individual clients' needs. The View Reports feature allows the SLP to view what the client worked on as well as when, how long, cues used and items correct vs incorrect! The app is free without monthly subscriptions and the customer service is excellent! My clients love this app and I am so impressed with the functional tasks, range of activities and viewing reports options. I highly recommend it to SLP's!

### 4/5 — Great therapy tool

*2014-07-01*

I have started using this with Speech Pathology patients. It is highly motivating; targets appropriate tasks; provides adaptable settings depending on client needs; allows from prompts. I can even set my patients plan for them to work on at home. I would like Australian voices and some terms are more 'American' than our Aussie vocab. Overall it is fantastic.

### 3/5 — Constantly freezes up on brand new iPad

*2024-01-06, version 3.1.1*

Very aggravating when it happens. It’s frozen the iPad 4 times now

### 3/5 — Letters Disappear

*2023-05-09, version 3.1.1*

When words have duplicate letters they disappear from the keyboard, please fix

### 3/5 — App Hanging Up

*2022-06-27, version 3.1.1*

App always hanging up and has to be uninstalled and reinstalled!
