### 4/5 — Great app

*2026-07-12*

Really great, could use some polish. Sometimes the pronounciation doesn’t play the whole phrase

**Developer response:** Hi, thanks for your review. We are currently working on polishing the app and fixing the pronunciation issue you raised. Thank you for your feedback and patience.

### 4/5 — Great App with Minor Improvements Needed

*2026-06-03*

App is great overall, would definitely recommend it. There are some minor issues. The progress through lessons and tracking of that progress is confusing. Biggest problem is that when you click to hear the audio pronunciation of some words, it doesn’t work.

**Developer response:** Hi! Thank you for your review. The suggestions for improvement are currently being evaluated by our team and we hope to fix the audio problems and clarify the learning progression. We appreciate your feedback and support.

### 5/5 — Great App

Really great for getting into understanding the universal language of the Church!

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2026-07-05*

I just downloaded this app 3 days ago and have been using it consistently since. When I downloaded I was completely new to Latin outside of memorizing a few prayers but I feel this app may really be able help me expand my knowledge. Although I myself don’t know Latin fluency so I can’t speak to the accuracy of the translations, I’m amazed at how in depth and helpful this is app has been. I’m only using the free version right now and there is certainly no lack of content. Grateful to God for the gift of this app and to the creators who made it.

### 5/5 — Beautiful

This is great for
Learning the prayers of the Latin Mass. and Satan hates the language of the church

### 5/5 — Immanuel

Tried quite a few apps to start learning liturgical Latin. Without a doubt, this is the best one. The app seems fairly new, but will clearly be enjoyed and appreciated by many. Enjoy the journey!

### 5/5 — Unbelievably amazing app

*2026-05-22*

I never write reviews but I had to write one for this app. I’ve finished the latin course on Duolingo and whilst it did help me understand basic sentence structure and some vocabulary it was really weak and I didn’t feel confident at all. I’ve been using this app for just a week and A LOT more make sense to me now. The structure of the exercises is excellent to actually make you memorise vocabulary, there are so many ways of using the app, so much great content, great layout that is super easy to use and the best part is that everything is based on the Church, which is the reason I started learning latin in the first placr, so from the very beginning you’re getting prayers, scriptures, church fathers, saints, the mass, etc, instead of spending ages practicing silly basic sentences about weasels, stinky bathrooms and fish sauce that you won’t ever use it, which really helps boosting your motivation to learn more. What a blessing.

God bless the people behind this app and I hope this app becomes extremely popular.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your kind review! I am glad that the app has been so helpful for you.

We really appreciate user feedback and would love for you to share it with all those you think would like it.

### 5/5 — Exactly What I Was Looking For

*2026-04-21*

This application is exactly what I was looking for in a Latin learning app! From the moment you open the application, it helps you retain the language. The look and feel of the application are great too.

### 5/5 — Needs some bug fixes

*2026-04-20*

Great app overall, I’m learning the Latin in a structured and practical way, there are just some bugs. Like audio not loading or exit buttons not showing, etc. It’s a little distracting.

**Developer response:** Hello! Thank you so much for your review. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. If you wouldn’t mind, please send an email to applinguasacra@gmail.com concerning all of the issues that you are experiencing with the app and I will try to address them as soon as possible.

### 5/5 — What I Was Looking For

*2026-04-16*

This app is exactly what I’ve been looking for. It’s not subscription-based, it mostly works offline, has good UI and customization options, and has a good amount of content from what I’ve seen so far. It’s pretty new so I’ve noticed some bugs, but nothing major. I reached out to the developer because I noticed a bug and he responded and fixed the bug very quickly and was extremely polite. From everything I’ve seen I am personally confident this app is good for my use as a Catholic. Definitely worth the 5 dollars considering it’s still a new app and already better than the numerous other apps I’ve already tried in my opinion. I plan to use this to start the path toward understanding the Vulgate and being able to read the works of St. Thomas Aquinas, so if it’s possible I’ll leave another review or an update to this one if I get to that point and let anyone reading this know how this app helped me. Ave Maria gratia plena!

### 5/5 — Just what Latin students have been needing!

*2026-03-18*

Never seen anything like it! This app includes so many different ways to learn and pray with this beautiful language. I am a high schooler who has been studying Latin for 6 years and have used a lot of different apps and websites to immerse myself in the language. Lingua Sacra is definitely the best one! It is also so easy and fun to learn from the beginning. Be careful not to get too carried away with it :)
