Live conversation is here, in beta. The tutor replies with no pause, and you can talk right over the answer or cut it off mid-sentence, the way real conversations actually go. Live conversation has its own small daily allowance, separate from your regular voice minutes. While it is on, hints, translation and the natural-voice picker are unavailable. Pick your tutor. Sophia, Maya, Leo and Alex are four conversation partners, each with a different manner. Your scenario and your difficulty stay exactly the same. Only your conversation partner changes. Natural tutor voices. Expressive synthetic speech in place of the built-in system voice, selectable per language. Requires a subscription; on the free plan the system voices stay as they are. Replies at your level. The tutor holds its answers to your CEFR level, A1 through C2, instead of drifting into harder language halfway through a chat. Steadier voice capture. Finishing a phrase and canceling one are now clearly separate actions, and the mic no longer sticks after a call, an alarm or Siri interrupts you. Plus stability fixes when the app starts up.
