## What is Linism?

Linism is a calm daily companion built for autistic people.

Most apps are loud, busy, and built for someone else. Linism is the opposite. It brings together the things that genuinely help through the day and keeps them in one quiet place that stays fully under your control: understanding your body, making daily life more predictable, giving you a voice when words are hard, and helping you settle when things get to be too much.

Understand what your body is telling you
Using your Apple Watch, Linism learns your personal tension and stress patterns from heart rate and heart-rate variability, then gently flags when stress is climbing so you can step in early. It also keeps an eye on loud environments, your sleep, your mood, and your social battery, and can show you where you tend to feel most stressed. No Apple Watch? Much of Linism still works on iPhone alone.

A voice for the moments when words are hard
The Talk board is a simple tap-to-speak communication aid. Tap a picture or a word and Linism says it out loud, on-device and offline, so you can tell the people around you what you need. Switch between words and pictures, build longer sentences, and set a speaking speed that feels right. A separate Pain and Symptoms board with a body map helps you show what hurts. The Talk board is always free.

More predictability in daily life
Build gentle routines you can follow one step at a time, on iPhone or Apple Watch, and keep your day in view with the calendar. The Situation Wiki walks you through real situations like a dentist visit, a haircut, or taking the bus: what to expect, the sensory details, the unspoken social rules, and a clear way out if you need one. The Time Helper takes the guesswork out of when to leave and how long things take.
Calm down in the moment
Quick digital fidget toys give you an easy way to stim wherever you are. A calming haptic metronome on the Watch helps you slow your breathing, and gentle relief tips are always one tap away.

Help when things get to be too much
A one-tap SOS can message a trusted contact and help you leave a situation. You choose who that is, and the safety tools are always free.

Meet Linux
Linux, a friendly little dog, lives in the app as a calm companion. He responds gently to how your day is going and can give you a quiet, pressure-free tour of the app whenever you want one. He never nags.

Built to feel calm, not loud
A low-stimulation mode, slow animations, haptic-first feedback, and five color themes let you shape Linism around your senses. Reorder your dashboard, pick which tabs you see, add Home Screen widgets and Apple Watch complications, and use the app in English, German, French, or Chinese. An optional Face ID or Touch ID lock keeps it private.

Privacy first
Your personal data stays on your device and remains under your control. Everything personal is encrypted on your device with AES-256, the key never leaves your iPhone, and nothing is ever sold or tracked. You can export your data, or delete all of it, at any time.

Free and Pro
The essentials are always free, including the Talk communication board and the safety tools. A Pro subscription unlocks the deeper tools such as the Situation Wiki, the Pain and Symptoms board, and the Time Helper.

Important note
Linism is a tool for self-observation and daily organization. It is not a medical device, does not provide diagnoses, and does not replace medical or therapeutic advice.
