## What is Link App?

The Link App is the accompanying mobile application for the Link Sample Roaster by Nucleus Coffee Tools and Kaffelogic. Utilising this app, Link users can input a range of information about the coffee they wish to roast, and the app’s algorithmic profile selection will provide the most ideal recommendation for roast Profile Pack, Power Curve/Roast Profile, Suggested Development Range, Fan Action (fan speed), and the Expected First Crack for each coffee. 

The Link App also has several features to accommodate different coffee roasting scenarios, including Altitude Calibration, Arabica Advanced to input the screen size of coffees, All Species Mode for non-Arabica coffees, Advanced Roast Details for roast batch size, and Heirloom Cupping for landrace varieties.

This app was great until just recently. It is asking to sign up or log in and when I go to sign up it says error occurred?  The app is the heart of the roaster. Without it how am I going to pick a profile? It used to just work.  Now I have to guess based on previous coffees I’ve roasted because I can’t create an account and use the app for a machine I paid for.

Love the new updates. You know what would be awesome? The ability to save the names of beans you roast regularly, to save inputting the density, variety, etc every time.

“If you're looking to roast wet-hulled coffee with the LINK roaster, you can use the LINK App to input the processing method as "wet-hulled," and it will recommend the ideal roast profile for you. If you have more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask! 😊”
