Despite the fact that it is not working at all, it feels as if it was developed by a 10 year old kid who has not the faintest idea about app development. If you are planning of buying a Sealife camera be aware that you will not have an option to synch to your phone or tablet. You will need a USB connection to get your photos from the camera - like you did 15 years ago. Very amateurish of Sealife. Followed all instructions in DC2000 book to make connection to my iPhone 6s. No go. Then spent (wasted) more time trying to use this app with my iPad. No go again. Neither device could make the connection. So, my experience is that this app is completely useless. It’s a good thing I’m retired and have some to waste, and it was certainly wasted on this app. Best part of the whole process was deleting it from both devices. I need to be able to move the pictures in the app library to the phone photo library, so I can “massage” them. Very disappointing and a big negative for the overall camera experience. I eventually figured out how to do that, but I am not able to do anything else with the images. I see from earlier reviews that this had been a problem, and that it is said to have been fixed been fixed. The only way I’ve been able to save the photos is to email them to myself and then download them back. What a joke, why would a $700 camera use a crackerjack app like this? App works until your at the “Share” a picture with any listed app in the program (Facebook, messenger, etc). Have not tried to talk to sealife yet. But my guess is they know this is happening. I can upload my pictures from my camera to my messenger but not to FB or Twitter like its supposed to do. I need help on this! Still trying to make it work. You can not save to your tablet/phone, share to social media platforms etc. Save yourself the headache, connect your camera by cable and download your photos. Camera must be on but it shuts off automatically and you have to start over. After checking other references here - I gave up - don’t want to risk locking up my camera. No wonder SeaLife has already discontinued this camera. UI is basic, not a flashy thing like the gopro app. but it works far more reliably and a lot faster than gopro. bonus: there are no cloud services, uploads, registrations or whatever. we need more apps like this! ### 4/5 — Works Now *2021-10-14, version 1.11* Most recent update works better. Was able to download images from camera wifi to iPad photo, and also to email images direct from within app without downloading to iPad. Thank you for the update! A little weird of a set up but functioned as expected. Try setting up wireless extenders when they came out 12 years ago! Download on iPhone is part of share. I never liked that setup but it worked. I downloaded it again as I prepare for another dive trip. I tested it at home and it worked fine. App has been crashing on sharing/save since October 21st, or before. When I sent a message to SeaLife two weeks later, I was told they were not aware of any app problems. Now it has been a month since it is broken. I’m at a loss what to do, report them to BBB, or how else get them to fix it. I left a report here, it got deleted. I spent $2K on the whole SeaLife set with all bells, and now wish I hadn’t.
