But even worse, the entire platform is full of bugs like how certificates save. Customer service is non-existent. There’s a total lack of continuity, failure to convey information, poor visuals or examples, lack of proper assessments, and no actual projects/activities. Majority of these “teachers” have no idea how to share information. You’ll feel like ur spending ur time effectively, but you will learn nothing and get a certificate that makes you feel like you did. ### 2/5 — UX is gross and the devs should probably take a few courses *2025-11-01, version 2025.1008.1052* Using this app is awful. Navigation is a painful experience and the devs and/or product owner needs to take few courses to understand how they should be desigining apps. This is a nightmare of apps and it doesn't even listen for intents from my browser. On a laptop it’s really easy to use and navigate. However on an iPad it’s so hard to click on the play/ pause button. Every time I’ll be clicking on the button and nothing happens, where the play button would appear and disappear again. The same thing applies to the playtime bar, where the dot is so hard to drag. I’m sure they need some tweaking on the interface interaction ### 3/5 — So close to great *2025-10-22, version 2025.1008.1052* So many good things about LinkedIn Learning, so many missed opportunities to be Great. For example, I am watching on a tablet with a keyboard connected. The video cannot be moved forward or backwards with standard arrow keys as you would with many other video codecs. This causes me to pause in my learning to make the video navigate while I am actively following along. This wastes my time and attention to the content. Was and still am as to whether the content is free but downloaded the app anyway based on interest and the video I watched It’s the first app I’ve downloaded on my new phone as LinkedIn or in as it’s abbreviation is slow to load and difficult to post on even though I do need to update my projects on it. I've literally received proof of passing courses, which look HELLA GOOD on a resume! Don't sleep on the free trainings. They can elevate your career, mindset, as well as overall outlook on life and where you want it to take you! Forever grateful for the opportunity to learn about practically anything under the sun, at a self paced rate, and also receive a certification and optional badge to embed into websites, social media, display directly on your LinkedIn profile, etc! It’s easy to use and has plenty of wonderful indicators to keep you motivated towards your goal. I especially like how they consciously keep the length of each video less than 5 minutes so that you can continue to make progress one small step at a time. Stay consistent and you get a nice certificate to add on your LinkedIn profile in the end.
