This adds an additional 2 or 3 steps as the profile has to load up in the regular LinkedIn app and then you have to request to connect, this seriously slows down the recruiting workflow when you’re sourcing through potentially hundreds of candidates and is very time consuming at a large scale. If the connection request option can be right there in the LinkedIn Recruiter app so it’s quick and right there, reducing those extra steps, that would be so incredibly helpful and make things much more productive. For the amount of money LinkedIn charges for this program per month, I can’t understand why this option isnt already included in it. The functionality you have compared to on a pc is much more limited. Given users pay thousands a year for linkedin recruiter and they put the prices up again by 15 percent id expect a lot better. Also if you click ok app support here. Page is not found. However getting tech support has never proved easy via Linkedin. It gets the job done. However, I wish there was more opportunity to customize notification settings. I really value work apps that allow me to limit notifications to certain hours (ie. Not after 5 PM, or working days only). Compared to apps like MS Teams, there’s room for improvement. ### 2/5 — The older version was way better *2025-06-09, version 2.7.0.1* I always keep the old version and don't update it because I know how it works, now I accidentally clicked on it and got the new version and I'm already unhappy. Bulk messages don't work. It lets me prepare a template and then says it can't send - please fix this. ### 2/5 — Okay app, painful to cancel *2025-06-06, version 2.7.0.1* The process to cancel is molasses slow. A search in an MNC for entry level role for current and past, continental location, results 48 profiles. Seriously? Are my filters too narrow or there isn’t enough profiles on LinkedIn? If you cannot even get the fundamentals to work, you expect us to pay 5 figures to get a little more? I had to use your normal LinkedIn to search and even then your results are mismatched. Read the 1 star reviews from 6 years ago and they had the same issues I did. 5 figures in subscription fee and you guys are not even trying to improve the system? ### 1/5 — Pésima *2026-05-01, version 2.7.3* *ESP Es increíble que una herramienta tan cara funcione tan mal. The loading times are endless and the design is stuck in the past. You can’t even run new searches or use any AI features, making it pretty much useless for actual recruiting. Keeps saying it’s wrong. I know it’s not wrong. I can use linkedin rec with same details on my desktop. The process to cancel my original subscription was molasses slow, and obviously designed to be slow. The benefit of the app and the service isn’t currently worth the cost. It’s obnoxious to be required to listen to someone read line after line from a script. The features are sub-par. And then to receive an email informing me that I’d resubscribed, when I most certainly hadn’t?!? Unacceptable. Presumably I won’t have to go through this miserable unsubscribe process again. Right? LinkedIn has had poorly designed navigation for years. Fine.
