### 2/5 — Bad app

*2022-09-17, version 2.28.0*

The bulbs work fine, they have nice color and brightness. The app is pretty underwhelming though.

There is no way to use presets together on every bulb. You have to switch every bulb to it, then it doesn’t use the preset together.

I wish there was a way to better control the “smart” feature throughout the day. I want them to be dim at night and bright in the morning, but I have to change it whenever I turn the bulb on. I wish it would automatically change due to the time, Even if the bulb is off at the set time.
Ex: from 10pm-8am it is on this brightness, and the bulb doesn’t have to be on at 10 and 8 to change, it can be set to that during those hours.

Also, one in every 3 bulbs doesn’t work. Please fix that.

### 2/5 — Cheap bulbs, crap software

*2022-07-05, version 2.25.3*

I should have paid more for nicer bulbs just for the software. These bulbs are fine, but I’m constantly having to correct screens, timed on/off etc. sometimes the bulbs are on in the middle of the day, or the colors aren’t working, the scenes aren’t activating as programmed. It’s a constant chore to keep correcting what should be a set it and forget operation.

### 2/5 — not very "smart"

*2022-06-08, version 2.24.0*

i constantly have time where the lights just disconnect from my phone for no reason, usually at night or in the mornings.
another huge thing: why cant you add a scene that includes presets? it's so painstaking to individually press each of my 4 lights to make them to a preset mode. and for a preset such as "Party", then all of the lights aren't in sync. Just let me sage it as a scene!
Wish it had a dark mode honestly. a little too bright to the eyes.

### 2/5 — This app is terrible

*2022-05-18, version 2.24.0*

It’s constantly losing connection

### 1/5 — notifications not working

*2022-03-31, version 2.22.2*

The notification function for the alarm system which used to work does not work at all any more. No notifications about a sensor or movement detection. Only when I am in the app I can see the alarm going off.
This makes the whole alarm system obsolete!!! Where can I get my money back???

### 1/5 — App is horrible

*2022-03-27, version 2.22.2*

Lights are cool but the app is horrible. Remodeled for 3 weeks and turned the lights back on and can barely get them to work. Something between the new iOS 15.4 update and this app update between then has made these lights worthless

### 1/5 — So dumb

*2022-03-22, version 2.22.1*

First off it’s just dumb, cheap, poor development, why cant I set a preset tk a group at once, why cant I adjust presets brightness, why do all the presets stink, there’s not a single strobe light, just the presets are horirble, barely any customization, and group control is horrible

### 1/5 — WiFi never worked.

*2022-03-12, version 2.21.4*

Four bulbs four different scan codes. None of them worked on my Iphone13.

### 2/5 — New update is bad 2022

*2022-02-10, version 2.21.1*

The new update made the speaker on the camera extremely quiet and the microphone can barely pick up my voice. Before the update no issues with talking through the camera and it was more than loud enough now it’s so quiet you have to get next to the camera to actually hear anything. I use it as a baby monitor so when my son wakes up in the middle of the night and I want to comfort him without physically disturbing him I can no longer do that. I will change my rate to five once this is fixed and depending on how quick it’s fixed.

### 1/5 — Horrible service & horrible software! They do not stay connected!

*2022-01-17, version 2.19.1*

No exaggeration! 5 times a day across multiple bulbs I have to climb up a latter to completely remove & reinstall/reset up these stupid bulbs!

They do not stay connected at all on iOS 15.1.2 or android 11!

I’ve emailed the company using the “feedback” option in the app 30 times and written direct emails a dozen times! They have responded once! With a automated generic how to set up email!

These bulbs are just total crap!

I’m returning all 16 we purchased for Xmas because we’ve literally had 0 days in less than 3 weeks where 3 bulbs at least have to be reset up!

Don’t let them tell you your internet is why either we have 1gb speed with Wi-Fi extension pods in every room of our house plus hard connections for our pcs & smart tvs. The bulbs are just crap & the customer service from this company (lack of I should say) only shows it’s a crap product they care little about!

### 2/5 — Rating

*2022-01-06, version 2.19.1*

It constantly stops and starts causing one to go back to the App Store to reconnect and that doesn’t always work.

### 2/5 — Ummm.. the app needs work

*2021-11-17, version 2.17.0*

These bulbs are beautiful but the app itself becomes constantly unresponsive leaving to turn your lights off manually and likely creating the need to sync them again or just wait it out. Either way, its a pain.

### 2/5 — Dead

*2021-11-16, version 2.17.0*

Been trying for two days to connect via the app. Nothing. So far this have been the worse wifi bulbs I’ve ever tried.

### 2/5 — iOS 15 bug. Needs dark mode theme & Widgets

*2021-11-02, version 2.17.0*

After using the app, leaving it for a time while running a different app, and then returning, the app is just a blank white screen. I have to force the app closed to get it to run correctly. This didn’t start until upgrading my phone to iOS 15.

The white and yellow theme is a huge eye sore when using the app in a darkly lit or color filled room adjusting the lights. Black or dark grey would be an easy settings option to add for a fix. Widgets with scene buttons, would also be a great and inuitive way to use the app.

### 1/5 — Keep a lightbulb on standby

*2021-10-24, version 2.17.0*

If it never turns on, is it worth it? I have to keep an old lightbulb on the table next to the lamp in order to use it at night. I don’t recommend these to friends and I won’t be purchasing again.

### 1/5 — password did not work

*2021-10-07, version 2.15.1*

when I tried to login my password said incorrect even though I put the exact same password and email and I tried this with three separate accounts and it did not work

### 1/5 — Bring the QR scanning back!

*2021-10-03, version 2.15.1*

Everything worked so seamlessly when I first got it. I moved to a new place with new Wi-Fi, I’m not able to factory reset like it says and I can’t add my bulb again with the qr scanner like I did when I first bought these.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App does not function

*2023-05-23, version 2.34.0*

Downloaded app to run my new bulbs. App merely tells you it does not work any longer and directs you to download another app which I could not locate. Apple should remove or revise this item.

### 1/5 — App is broken

*2022-10-23, version 2.29.0*

Watched tutorials online and noticed the wifi bulb line of products all connect through their built in wifi. Every time I try to use the app to connect it prompts me to connect to them with Bluetooth. Not sure what update caused this bug but it needs to be fixed. Tried reinstalling and everything. Doesn’t make sense that it wants me to connect to the wifi bulb through Bluetooth. Can’t get it to give me any other option to connect except through Bluetooth.

### 1/5 — No HomeKit & no Home Assistant, so no stars

*2022-10-14*

I would give 0 stars if I could.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2022-10-13, version 2.29.0*

This has to be one of the most user unfriendly apps out there. Can’t set a group up with dynamic mode with multiple colors. You have to create a preset for a single light but then cannot apply it to the other lights. Once you create a preset you should be able to select it it on the other lights.

### 1/5 — Literally Spyware

*2022-08-27, version 2.27.0*

Wants your precise location to "ensure your safety when using the app".
Note that this is a Chinese app.

I should not have to point it out, but make sure if you create an account do not put the password of your email account as password.

I cannot imagine this app to have any other purpose than getting into people's emails.
You will likely also receive more spam...shouldn't have given them my email address...

### 1/5 — App not tested

*2022-07-30, version 2.26.2*

So many issues. Can’t save a scene. Garbage. Not tested.

### 1/5 — Broken App

*2022-07-13, version 2.26.1*

The lights themselves are just fine, but I physically cannot turn them off half the time because the app won’t load and is just a blank white screen.

### 1/5 — Just turns on by itself

*2022-07-03, version 2.25.3*

What happened? It was fine till update. Screw this

### 1/5 — Needs update like a year ago

*2022-06-27, version 2.25.3*

The “all control” should have the same options like “preset, white, colors” like when you click on them individually. The lights also tend to disconnect often. Might have to purchase different lights as these are not living up to the standard I thought they would

### 1/5 — Hub fuera de línea

*2022-06-18, version 2.25.2*

Malo. El hub no se mantiene conectado solo por ratos y hay que estar reiniciando

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Like these Wi-Fi builds a lot.

*2022-05-20, version 2.24.0*

Bought these (4) bulbs on Amazon and easily connected them to both Wi-Fi and Alexa. I have 2 wall lamps above my bed but are too high to just reach up and turn them off. I have a echo dot beside my bed so now I just say “ Alexa , turn papa’s light off/on”. Will be buying more things from Linkind .

### 5/5 — So Far I Like It

*2021-12-30, version 2.19.1*

I’ve not yet updated my phone to iOS 15, so all of the features and settings work beautifully. One thing I wish for is that it could be controlled (not necessarily set up) from an Apple Watch app. It would be so much more convenient than digging out my phone every time I want to turn lights on or off.

### 5/5 — Suggestion

*2020-08-31, version 2.4.0*

At first I had a problem, I upgraded Alexa app to its latest version and then it worked perfectly. If you have some problem but cannot figure it out, I think you might try to upgrade Alexa app. That may be helpful.

### 5/5 — good

*2020-03-29, version 1.4.3*

I have both Amazon Echo and Google Home devices. I downloaded the Linkind app (Google Play store defaults to Linkedin app) so you have to tell it to look for what you typed in. The little insert tells you nothing other than to download the app and follow instructions.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2020-03-28, version 1.4.3*

This is super convenient! I fully recommend it.

### 3/5 — App needs work

*2022-02-09, version 2.21.1*

Overall I haven’t had as bad an experience as others seem to be having, but PLEASE can you add the same group controls as you have with individual bulbs? For example I’d like under “All Control” the ability to hit Party Mode so all lights change colors in sync.

### 3/5 — Funktioniert leider nicht so wie es soll

*2021-01-16, version 2.9.0*

### 3/5 — Needs improvement

*2020-12-16, version 2.7.0*

I was happy with these bulbs when I first installed them but was disappointed that there was no automatic color changing features. A couple weeks after installation, they added Presets which allowed for color changing patterns (party mode, emotion, bonfire) but all were taken away about two weeks ago and I was told they would be fixing these features but no updates have occurred. I would really like these features back but if there are no improvements to the app, I definitely won’t be purchasing again. I would also really like to see a Sleep Mode feature added so my lights can automatically turn off after a set amount of time. I think there’s a lot they could do with this app that just isn’t there from a user experience standpoint and it makes me question who’s running this company.

### 3/5 — Works well but lacking

*2020-12-15, version 2.7.0*

The app works well but is lacking a must have feature: Concurrent user capabilities. As another reviewer mentioned, only one user can be logged into the account at any given time. A multi-user environment is a must have feature in any home automation app! Add this and I’d bump my rating up for sure.

### 3/5 — Pretty great but app needs adjustments

*2020-12-06, version 2.7.0*

You can only sign in on 1 phone to control the lights. So if my husband wants to turn off the lights and signs in, it kicks me off. I don’t understand why the same account can’t be on multiple devices?

Also there was a party mode, bonfire and other effects that are now gone? Why?!
