### 2/5 — App is good, the “deal” is terrible …

*2024-11-12, version 3.29.0*

Interface is easy to use and intuitive. However, the transaction value is terrible. I wish there were a less harsh and accurate way to describe it, but terrible is on point. This becomes a parent after you own securities you’ve purchased and wish to sell prior to you liquidation event. Not only will you be charged at 10% fee on the gross transaction value, wiping out a significant portion of any gain, you will be voted a price significantly lower than what it would cost you to purchase the same share at the same time through Linqto. For example, you may have a security you paid $35 for, that now cost $55 to add more, but which you could only sell for $45 that might sound great because you still have a $10 gain, except the majority of that will be retained by Linqto as part of the 10% fee upon sale. I understand the heavy fee approach, or the widespread approach as either is a reasonable means of profit for Linqto. However, what I can’t handle is both on the same transaction. Profit profit, but that level agreed makes it impossible for the investor to net any reasonable return prior to a liquidation event. I’m still waiting to see what happens following a liquidation event, as I’ve not experienced one yet with the securities I’ve purchased.

### 2/5 — Great opportunities poor exit

*2024-08-13, version 3.26.0*

Gives an opportunity to buy into companies not available to the average person. For trading and selling, charges high fees and buy back is well below market value of what it has for the same assets on the platform.

### 1/5 — You have to be rich already

*2024-06-30, version 3.23.0*

When investing into ripple they allowed me to make a minimum purchase. Now for any other IPO I want to invest into I’d have to an accredited investor already. Funny how it was allowed for one and not all. You’d think this company would be helping people to invest but it’s just an app that you can’t spend your money on investments if your broke according them. Good luck being poor.

### 1/5 — Possible money grab?!?!

*2023-11-06, version 3.7.0*

Good luck on getting any of your money out. Easy to get money in. I’ve been waiting and waiting and waiting for my money to be released over a week nothing.
Also, they keep a huge chunk of your sales double check that I think these guys are all about keeping the money because they took a large amount worse than any bank.
then had excuses that were ridiculous.
Also, they set up a system that makes it virtually impossible to dispute with your bank and get your funds returned. Be careful.

### 1/5 — Adam99

*2022-04-08, version 2.1.6*

App not been well thought out I use a screen reader and it doesn’t even work
on this app

### 1/5 — For accredited investors only

*2021-02-17, version 2.0.1*

If you don’t have $1M in assets excluding personal residence or $200k a year 2 years in the raw your money no good here. Some companies allow for non accredited. Hopefully this firm will make it available for all. As of now useless for most.
Note their response to reviews is not very welcoming...

### 1/5 — REALLY???

*2020-08-11, version 1.2.80*

So I have to be what most people consider (at least) fairly wealthy to be able to be a unicorn investor? In order to even make an account I need to have a net worth of $1M? Very disappointed. I truly believe in certain companies but can’t show my support in it? Really really heartbreaking.

### 1/5 — Scam claims

*2025-07-19, version 3.42.0*

Apparently a scam that never processed the deals for shares I paid for.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2025-07-15, version 3.42.0*

They stole 5k in investment funds from me in pre-IPO shares.

Absolute disgrace of a business

### 1/5 — Scam

*2025-04-18, version 3.39.0*

Says you need to update the app no update available. How long will they be in review before they allow people to take their money out? This will end on an American Greed episode at some point.

### 1/5 — Do not invest with this company.

*2025-03-28, version 3.39.0*

This company is going bankrupt, they have stopped all transactions for all users. They lied about how many users they have and are accredited. Just Google linqto news and see all the things going on with them.

### 1/5 — Sullivan & Cromwell lolz

*2025-03-25, version 3.38.0*

The fact that their Execs were fired after they were sued for questionable business practices says EVERYTHING. Then they hired the crypto-spooks of Sullivan & Cromwell is the icing. What an incestual racket of finance insiders running game on vulnerable retail.

### 1/5 — Total scam

*2025-01-03, version 3.33.0*

These guys should and probably will get sued eventually. They sell you shares at grossly inflated prices and then will only buy them back at way below market prices (even for popular stuff that keeps selling out!). Take Ripple for example. They are selling the shares for $117, but only buying them back at $74. The spread should not be that big for something so popular. It could even be some type of Ponzi scheme since they are acting on both sides of the transaction with insane spreads. Regardless of legal or not, it’s definitely an unethical trap, so BUYERS BEWARE!

### 1/5 — Research on Linqto

*2024-12-01, version 3.29.0*

At this point in time I am unable to form a view on Linqto as I have been unable to find any details on line as to their reliability and safety- I may be doing them an injustice, but one of the few reviews on here says that you lose half your investment in fees! Linqto have not yet responded to this comment. I await a response!

### 1/5 — Trash Company that steal your money - BEWARE!

*2024-11-18, version 3.29.0*

The prices went up, I waited for 8 months, but they still paid back my money very less and that too with very high fees. Shame on your business model, I hope you go down to trash soon. Fraudsters.

### 1/5 — Very bad

*2024-07-29, version 3.24.0*

You immediately lose 50% of your investment due to fees

### 1/5 — Bait and switch

*2024-07-27, version 3.24.0*

Don’t fall for any “promotions” offered by this company. I followed their instructions to the T for a $250 bitcoin offer, but they reneged on it claiming that I didn’t go through their promo page, which I absolutely did. Unfortunate for you but convenient for them, you can’t prove you clicked through a specific page.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — :)

*2025-02-11, version 3.36.0*

Brilliant

### 5/5 — Great app

*2024-03-15, version 3.17.0*

Great app so far and reached out to customer service twice and got fast responses

### 5/5 — Best trading app ever

*2024-01-13*

I was so impatient to carry out necessary research but i really wanted to jump on the crypto trading and investment buzz. Unfortunately for me, I invested 65,000 GBP worth of bitcoin with a fraudulent company. I was happy to watch my account grow to 240,000 GBP within a couple of weeks. But i didn't realize i was dealing with a scam company, until i tried to make an attempt to withdraw. I made a withdrawal request, and noticed my account was suddenly blocked for no apparent reason. I tried contacting customer support, but all to no avail. I needed my money back at all cost, because i could not afford to let it go. So i tried all possible means to make sure i recovered my scammed bitcoin. I did a lot of online search for help, and tried to see if there were other people who had any similar experience. I stumbled upon a cryptocurrency forum were a couple of people mentioned that they had been through the same process but were able to recover their lost cryptocurrency, funds with the help of cryptomaveen on Instagram So i file a report and she was able to help me get back all my lost funds within two weeks i feel indebted to him. Apart from trying to express my gratitude to them once again using this medium, I will recommend anybody who wants to recover scammed bitcoin, stolen cryptocurrency, funds lost to binary options forex, investment and any other form of online scam, reach out to cryptomaveen on Instagram

### 5/5 — Why Aren’t You Upset at SEC/FINRA?

*2022-05-09, version 2.1.9*

I personally love this platform- I am so excited private stocks are finally here for accredited investors to back. Low ratings because you don’t qualify as an accredited investor doesn’t mean it’s the app or company’s fault, they are simply working within SEC / FINRA rules. Anyone who’s 1-starring for this reason shows a lack of financial knowledge and common sense, and shouldn’t be investing in the first place.

### 5/5 — Democratizing Private Investment

*2022-05-04, version 2.1.8*

Private Equity investments have been only available to giant institutional investment houses. Love that Linqto is making private market investments into pre-IPO companies accessible to the average investor.

From my due diligence: the company has a guaranteed close, banking-level security, proprietary research (e.g., valuations, investment rounds, pricing, and competitors, partners, executives, etc.), and a list of screened “unicorn” investment opportunities in a catalog of dozens of vetted private companies. Linqto also facilitates investor accreditation.

How it works: They invest and then allow individuals to participate in the companies they hold. There is no lock up, no additional fees. You have choice in which companies you invest, and no requirements to invest certain amounts; minimum investment of $10,000.

Summary: Not just for creating generational wealth, but private markets are where exponential growth happens today… gone are the days where those biggest valuation gains occur post-IPO. Linqto enables you to invest, and is also home to a fabulous private investment community. A+

### 5/5 — Happy happy

*2022-05-04, version 2.1.8*

Linqto is working hard to make this asset class available for all. Very pleased to see they have a good app to make an investment.

### 5/5 — Excellent Platform!

*2022-05-01*

An accredited investor who recently bought private equity through the iPhone app. Minus the surprised Uphold commission for using the app to purchase equity, everything was easy and quick to make the purchase. Nice work Linqto Team!!

### 5/5 — Great

*2021-08-13, version 2.0.9*

Linqto has allowed me to diversify my assets and invest in a pre-ipo market. This is a rare opportunity, most require $250,000. What a great opportunity for a smaller investor. The SEC sets the rules. Thank you to the Linqto investment firm. 👍

### 5/5 — Breakthrough

*2020-07-02, version 1.2.37*

Linqto gives any angel/qualified investor a chance to buy unicorns before IPO

### 4/5 — A great Pre-IPO platform

*2023-07-18, version 3.0.0*

I make a great income, but with family and daily requirements I don’t have $200,000+ available to make such investments. Seemed to be always out-of-touch with my upper-middle class stature. I love the ease and availability Linqto has given me to finally put in a smaller percentage of my portfolio into these up and coming ventures.

What has held me back a little from 5 star review is when I transfer from my Roth IRA (Through a Directed IRA source), sometimes I’m a little short. Example: Ripple investment cost $10,042 and I had $10,000 in my Linqto account. I can’t make the investment unless I jump through hoops to get the additional $42 deposited. Why not just make it a round number or adjust the shares to match the $10,000?
