It is fast paced and quick enough to play when you have a few moments to spare. ### 5/5 — It's fast paced when there's a lot of balls bouncing *2009-01-02* Ok at first I really thought this game was easy, hey it just says draw a line from one block to another with the same color but apparently I was wrong, the ball became the problem and made the game fast paced. Basically you have to draw the line without the ball touching it, it get's pretty hard when there's more than one ball (mine was four) and you basically have to wait a right timing to draw the line else you loose a life for waiting too long. Keep the upgrades, bonuses and levels to come! Great graphics, definitely worth it! ### 4/5 — Fun Game *2009-01-01* This is a fun game with original game play. The pause button allows you to continue your game if you get interupted or play the game in short increments. Also the inclusion of the special blocks and blocks that change the game play adds an additional element which is cool. ### 4/5 — Great casual game. *2009-01-01, version 0* This game is very additive. The gameplay starts out very easy but then the difficulty kicks up when multiple balls are chasing you. The only things missing to make this a 5 star game are: Online high scores Different play modes This game is definitely worth the price. ### 5/5 — Great App! *2009-01-01* This is one of the most entertaining apps I have on my iPhone, and that's coming from a person that filled up all nine of his home screens. Much better than similar games like Bix. A few bugs and freezes occasionally but because this is a new app, these should be cleared soon. It is a fun challenging game and makes you think and act fast. Gameplay can be frantic. My only problem is the stability. Despite performing hard resets on my iPod touch after installation, this game will crash up to 4 times during a standard game length. Additionally, more than half the time I lose lives on it are because the game froze up and left one of my lines permanently on screen. I feel cheated when I can't play the game to its full extent as the game engine just can't keep up. I was interested because I love Squares, so I downloaded it as soon as possible. The app is pretty good overall. It's fun, interesting, and easy to learn. However, there were a few cons. For starters, it felt a little cramped. It was slightly confusing in some cases, and a bit buggy/slow. But not to worry, for I'm sure these problems will be fixed in future updates. I really love the gameplay and I'm looking forward to more fun with Linx! I gave it 4 stars because overall it was great, but i just hope that the next update would include a few different modes. Linking blocks may seem redundant but thankful they thought of putting in balls that could cause take down your lives. It does what it says, so I will avoid a run down of the game play. When drawing lines you must be sure not to exceed the boundaries however, or the line will not stick. At first i though that the app was broken, but it works great. This game is certainly unique, and may create a new genre of game (I think, I have not found a game like it). I found the game play to be quick, fun, but at times repititious. In spite of the latter, it certainly seems as though this game will provide many hours of enjoyment. I found myself playing it for nearly an hour, that seemed more like ten minutes. I believe that this is an app that will stay on my phone. ### 4/5 — Pretty Fun Actually *2009-01-02* Linx is a pretty good game. It's a simple concept with good graphics, and the game actually gets pretty difficult. Replay value is also good because it's a puzzle style game. Definitely worth the $0.99 if you want a fun, visually appealing game that you can pick up and play for a bit and while waiting at the bus stop or in line. ### 4/5 — Excellent gameplay, very little instruction *2009-01-02* The gameplay on Linx is great. It does, however, take a while to figure it out as the instructions are somewhat vague. I do find it a bit tacky that the developer left his own high score list in the game; it would be nice if it could be cleared so that the user would be able to keep his or her own scores from the get go. This game is very original and I'm yet to see anything like it. Once you get the hang of the game, it's really quite simple and it does indeed get much more difficult as you move on. It'll keep you busy for a while as there are a lot of levels. The first few might seem easy, but with lots of balls flying around, it quickly becomes more challenging.
