### 2/5 — Not very helpful

*2025-03-15, version 2.1.8*

It’s really not very useful and provides both incomplete and inaccurate information. Firstly, for the search results it *does* return, it only tells you if a store supposedly carries something, but not whether a given store actually has stock, and I’d say that over half the time when I call the store, they definitely don’t carry it, and have actually never heard of the product I’m talking about, so why they were listed in the search results is beyond me. Secondly, it definitely doesn’t return all stores that carry a given product, because the other day I was looking for green Chartreuse, and it didn’t list the store that I had bought it from previously, and when I went back to the store anyway, they did have it in stock(!), so if I had relied on the app, I wouldn’t have gone to the store and would’ve missed out. So, as stated, not very helpful at all. Oh, and there are often multiple listings for the same product that appear to be identical, so it’s hard to know which one to pick.

### 2/5 — This app needs some retooling

*2024-11-22, version 2.1.8*

Search function often inaccurate. For example you select spirits and search a whiskey by name and get zero results. You leave the search as a general inquiry and you find a match. Also the correlation to supply in the stores listed as having the product in question is rarely correct.

### 2/5 — Map Bug

*2022-04-01, version 2.1.1*

When I select Profile->My Shopping List-> Where to Buy, the map bugs out and scrolls down, no matter what.

Also, don’t color for main page bottom 5 icons is a poor choice, as user cannot see the selection name unless selected.

Good app idea but needs plenty of development still, it seems.

### 2/5 — Held together with duct tape

*2021-10-05, version 2.1*

It pretty bad. It also doesn’t give any information on inventory levels, understandably, but that means that it will say a store sells a certain product if it has only ordered a single time EVER.

### 2/5 — Could really use some upgrades

*2020-07-08, version 2.0.2*

This app only shows which stores have ordered the product you’re looking for within the last 6 months or so. Then you have to call each store listed to find out if they actually have any stock left. This is sorta helpful but the app COULD be better.
Wishlist of upgrades:
- show the date the store last ordered the product
- show the stock remaining at each store
- show the price at each store
- allow reviews or at least ratings for each product

### 1/5 — Alberta only

*2020-07-02, version 2.0.2*

This App is only giving me a choice for Alberta alcohol and there are some good BC beers I was told are sold in Calgary. There is no way to change the setting that I can find. Not impressed.

### 1/5 — Not Good

*2020-07-01, version 2.0.2*

Lousy. Want to use it to locate stores selling certain products. Right now it is limited to products made in Alberta. What a crappy app.

### 3/5 — Okay, but not as good as webpage

*2020-05-02, version 2.0.2*

It functions similar to webpage, but needs a search by location like postal code, address, city. It automatically took me to Edmonton, not my current location. A good addition would also be search for product by barcode and use camera to scan a bottle.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2019-12-20, version 1.2.7*

Only lists suppliers outside of my city and for high volume purchases.

### 1/5 — This app is bad

*2019-12-15, version 1.2.7*

This app has got to be one of the absolute worst app I have ever used, well attempted to use as it’s really useless.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Could be great that needs to be updated

*2026-07-16, version 2.1.9*

The app is not intuitive, it’s not actually that easy to navigate, the results are not accurate, and the app constantly crashes. Frustrating, as it could be a fantastic app

### 1/5 — Worst app in the history of mankind

*2025-12-31, version 2.1.9*

The development decisions in this app were made by a one year old baboon and even that’s an insult to baboons. First of all with every letter you type in the search field the app starts a new search and you end up with 20 different, completely irrelevant searches, including the final search. You are not Google and you have no clue how to do that. Just implement a simple basic search button that even a five-year-old knows how to do! A simple search for gray monk Merlot doesn’t even show you gray monk Merlot until about number 11 on the list. A simple search for Michael David Lodi gives about 20 different results that have the word David anywhere in a substring that has nothing to do with Michael David Lodi even though Michael David Lodi is in the database. Whoever designed and developed this app needs to change careers instead of wasting everybody’s time and energy.

### 1/5 — Not a good functioning app

*2025-04-22, version 2.1.8*

App is glitchy could function way better

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2025-02-04, version 2.1.8*

When you click on the map for the location it crashes. The search engine doesn’t work well. Needs work

### 1/5 — Not helpful

*2024-07-20, version 2.1.7*

As useless as the website. You can type in a very simple product “ Molson Canadian” or “Twisted Tea” and get search answers for everything but what you’re looking for

### 1/5 — Pretty good app, but buggy map feature

*2022-06-17, version 2.1.1*

I love the website, which brought me to the App, but when you select ‘where to buy’ the map buggers off south and just keeps on going.
Also, once you get on the map, there’s no way out except for restarting the app.
Hopefully a bug fix isn’t too far off…?

### 1/5 — Very bad app March 2022

*2022-03-04, version 2.1.1*

It seems obvious that the developers do not know how to save preferences of filters when moving between screens. What was the point of suggesting a filter, hit close to search for a wine and find wines that should not have shown up. Then one notices the filter reset itself (again). When you choose a wine to look at to find where it is located and then go back out to look at a few more, the list is reset and back to square one. Sigh! Horrible!

There is no way of sorting once there is a list.

With thousands of wines in the Alberta list, these simple features must exist.
Fix this app

### 1/5 — Worst app ever

*2021-07-17, version 2.0.2*

How can you have over 5000 matches for one type of question and not any of them at correct

### 1/5 — Glitchy

*2021-05-02, version 2.0.2*

When looking up more that one product , it gets “stuck”.

### 1/5 — AB Gov - another one bites the dust

*2020-12-24, version 2.0.2*

Since Klein deregulated alcohol in the 90's (I know, I know, most of you weren't born yet) AB Gov still wants its hands in the pie.
It would be nice if complete deregulation actually occurred. But that's just a pipe dream. Kenny thinks he can keep AB economy locked to natural resources; we'll wake up and smell what the wind blew in. Oil is dead, long live renewables. Yes your electoral base suffers for a time but Albertans are hardy, adaptive folk. We'll get through this IF you can separate your economic plan from the finite resource sector and BRANCH OUT into other forms of economic input (i.e. wind, water) we might stand a chance at leaving a world to our kids that was comparable to the one we grew up in. But I ain't gonna hold my breath; cause Kenny ain't smart enough to make any meaningful change.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Find your wine the easy way

*2025-07-07, version 2.1.8*

I love this app. If I am looking for a specific wine or liquor, I start my search here. I use the list to find the store that carries it. Saves going from store to store. Saves so much time and driving around.

### 5/5 — Arrrrg-ated highly

*2024-08-02, version 2.1.7*

Much easier to find my favourite rum

### 5/5 — Good app to see if a product is carried in AB

*2024-03-29, version 2.1.6*

A good start for searching liquor.

### 5/5 — Huge Improvement

*2021-10-25, version 2.1*

Oct. 2021 Great App!

### 4/5 — Not bad.

*2020-12-21, version 2.0.2*

The app has limitations, certainly. But for those complaining about the app only showing products available in Alberta..... IT’S AN ALBERTA BASED APP. Try reading before you complain.

### 3/5 — Ok app

*2026-05-11, version 2.1.9*

Difficult to lay out your search. Seems to bring up Alberta made products

### 3/5 — Useful, but Search and Filters need work

*2025-02-10, version 2.1.8*

Very handy but seriously frustrating with plenty of bugs. Search often does not work properly and filters don’t actually filter. For some reason, when you click to find where something is available, it (the map)defaults to Edmonton. Just a bizarre series of issues that leave me wondering if the developers have actually used the app themselves.

### 3/5 — Poor search engine

*2024-10-16, version 2.1.7*

The search engine is horrible. You type in an EXACT description of a product you’re looking for and instead of being at the top of the search results, most of the time you have to scroll through dozens of products just to find what your looking for.

### 3/5 — Painful

*2024-07-27, version 2.1.7*

A very clumsy app, poor search criteria, finds hundreds of hits on a complex search, its glitchy.

### 3/5 — Pretty decent

*2024-07-12, version 2.1.7*

Works good in the city, would give 5 stars if they can fix the search option to be more accurate when out of town, it seems to draw alot of blanks in rural or smaller town settings, and I found inventory there.
