I mean of all the people out there that use Apple products, how many people only use one device? I kept forgetting how to add subtasks which, of course, took me longer to make my list. However, I did refer it to an associate of mine. I use it every day and can’t imagine an iPhone without it. It's not only good for groceries and hardware lists but also for to do lists before traveling and lists for maintenance at home. I love the section that allows to take personal notes. Took a bit of time initially to understand how things work, but it was a great investment! The app is actually simple to use when you see how it works. I like how app saves your place (when closed and reopened it goes right back to where you were), imports and exports text, has robust reminder options, capitalization options (nice!), option for expanding rows, search feature, etc. It was very reasonably priced and has a nice, noticeable icon. So glad I found this app! Thank you! ### 5/5 — Almost perfect *2020-03-29, version 2.40* This app is almost perfect. I like its list-within-lists ability, interface, and customizable icons. I would like the ability to sort lists inside of lists at the top, before the items in that list. I would really, really like the ability to sync lists across all my devices wirelessly. Zenbe Lists does this and is nearly identical in every other way except nested lists. Also, iPad optimized version. Add those two things and this app is 5 stars instead of 4. Job well done. Updating my review: giving it five stars now because of how much I use it and how long I’ve used it. This app has gotten opened at least monthly for many years. Would still be nice if it synced (sank?) across devices. Thanks again to the developer! ### 2/5 — Liked it well enough, until... *2020-03-28* Have used this for some time on my iPad and found it useful. But when my old iPad’s battery and available space revealed its age, I bought a new iPad. That’s when the problems with List! became apparent. Turns out there are a couple of serious flaws in import/export, largely because it uses email as the only transfer facility. UNSECURED email, it doesn’t encrypt so you won’t want to use it if you keep sensitive information in a list. And even when my information WASN’T sensitive, attempts to send in importable form failed. At this point I’m looking into using a backup utility to transfer the program’s data file via a PC. Major fail. If that doesn’t work, I’ll be looking for another utility and re-entering it all manually. ### 5/5 — The best List app available. *2020-03-23* This is by far my favorite app. I'm obsessed with lists and this app helps me keep them all organized and updated. I’ve made lots of lists; site logins, shopping, travel, books etc. Clear, simple, economic design and easy to use. Useful import/export function. On the downside, this app is LONG overdue for an optional locking/password feature. Way too many "help bubbles" if that many are needed it's not a simple app to use. Wanted to make a shopping list to test it out and it just kept creating new lists instead of sublists with after 5 mins of playing around with it I still couldn't work it out. This app is not bloated, super robust, and has the magical ability to export/email an entire list to a friend….Did I mention the support? Quick, succinct and thorough. I messed up a setting, without realizing the consequences, and they responded to my question incredibly fast. The support link is right in the help menu. I use this app for trip packing. Items drop to the end of the list and are greyed out when I check them off.
