ListAny — shopping and to-do lists that help you track money.

Most lists just remind you what to buy. ListAny goes further: record prices, build a purchase history, and watch your spending — so you can see where your budget goes.

Your list just got smarter — and noticeably quieter.

Group by category Dairy with dairy, veg with veg. Turn on grouping in the list header and items sort themselves into nine aisles, from “Fruit & vegetables” to “Home & care”. The category comes from the name; if we guess wrong, long-press to correct it and the app remembers.

Group by place If you tick off purchases with details, ListAny remembers where each thing was bought. Now the list can be grouped by shop — at a glance you see what to pick up here and what to get elsewhere.

A hint before you head out A green bar appears above the list: “The shop round the corner has 7 of 9 items, roughly this much.” One look and you know where to go.

Dictation in fifty-plus languages, word by word Voice input now handles Russian, German, Hindi and some fifty other languages word by word rather than in lumps. Finish speaking, fix something by hand, say more — the text carries on from where you left off and loses nothing.

Shared lists open first time Fixed accepting invitations: a shared-list link now opens it straight away, and if iCloud is unavailable the app says so instead of staying silent.

Small things Forty new emoji for automatic icons — “kale” and “dish soap” get a picture now too. Here and there in long lists you may meet an unobtrusive ad; it helps keep the app free.

Voice input
• Dictate a whole list — the app breaks it into separate items and picks up quantities. Everything is shown for review before it is added.
• The recognition language is chosen separately and remembered.
Shopping list grouping
• Group items by category — store aisles — or by the places where you usually buy them.
• The category is worked out automatically; correct it with a long press on an item or in its card.
Repeating items and tasks
• Repeat every day, week, month or year. Tasks also let you set how far ahead future occurrences are created.
• After a purchase the app offers to bring the item back after your usual interval. Suggestions can be turned off in Settings.
Prices and statistics
• Record a quantity with a purchase, fractional for weight — statistics now work from the price per unit.
• Right after a purchase you see how the price compares: cheaper than usual, normal, more expensive, plus lowest and highest records.
Shared lists
• Share a list through iCloud so everyone sees the same list. Sending a copy is still there.
Store hint
• A banner above the list points out where several items can be bought in one trip, and roughly what it will cost.
Small things
• Links in an item's description are now tappable.
• Swipes in the shopping list are more responsive — tick off purchases one after another without waiting.
• Refreshed currency picker in Settings, plus a rate-the-app button.
• The "due now" highlight lasts an hour instead of ten minutes.
• The recognition dictionary covers more everyday products.
