We don’t speak German, so we didn’t learn much from the signs, but it’s a stunning trail. ### 1/5 — English Version *2021-07-29, version 1.1.0* I downloaded the app on my iPhone 12 and can’t find a version in English. The version I downloaded to my iPad had a very Dayton fine version in English. Is their an iPhone version in English? ### 3/5 — Good information, GPS positioning needs work *2019-09-09, version 1.0.1* We hiked the Liechtenstein Trail this past week. The app has lots of good information and we loved the trail and the country. Main problem with the app is that it frequently loses your position so that you can’t open the POI as you need to be within 50 meters to open. If they can improve this, would be a very good app. This app drains your battery quickly so bring a power pack to connect to your phone. ### 4/5 — Sehr gute App, aber… *2025-09-08, version 1.2.2* Die App ist sehr gut, sehr informativ, aber was mir fehlt (oder ich habe es nicht gefunden) ist eine Sprachgesteuerte Routen Führung und eine Aufzeichnung der Tour, die man dann in andere Apps übertragen könnte. Und man könnte im Streckenprofil anzeigen wo man sich gerade befindet. Ebenso das navigieren zum Startpunkt der einzelnen Etappen wäre meiner Meinung nach sinnvoll. Jammern auf hohem Niveau… ☺️ aber ich kann die App sehr gut weiter empfehlen ### 4/5 — Definitely necessary to hike the trail *2025-08-23, version 1.2.2* You couldn’t do the trail without this app. We needed its maps many times to find the correct route between signs. The app did crash many times on my phone which was annoying. The content of the app could be improved to include more business hours directly and to identify more of the public toilets as they don’t seem to all be identified. We certainly had difficulty traveling the Liechtenstein trail with many businesses closed and very few retail stores and restaurants available along the trail. ### 4/5 — Echt genial - Walk & Learn *2020-06-01, version 1.1.0* Diese App ist hervorragend, weil sie nicht Touren vorschlägt, sondern eine Sightseeingtour mit sehr interessanter Geschichte und sehr interessanten Geschichten zum Inhalt hat. Bei mir hat sie einen Suchtfaktor ausgelöst, denn ich will nun schnellstmöglich alle Streckenabschnitte fertig gehen. Die AR ermöglicht einem Räume zu betreten, zu denen man sonst keinen Zugang hätte. Außerdem kann man nun auch Freunden gegenüber mit Wissen glänzen und fühlt sich Liechtenstein noch mehr verbunden. Nun ein paar Verbesserungsvorschläge: Schade ist. dass das GPS manchmal nicht funktioniert. Bei mir hat in diesem Fall geholfen, ab und zu den Flugmodus einzuschalten. In Malbun gab es keinerlei Beschilderung. Es wäre schön, wenn diese noch angebracht werden. Da es sicherlich öfters vorkommt, dass man die Bergbahn nicht nehmen kann oder will, sollte man den Weg ab Malbun bis zur Bergstation prinzipiell auch beschildern, auch wenn es hier keine Erlebnisstationen gibt. Ich fände es auch gut, wenn v.a. in den Gemeinden die Erlebnisstationen selbst auch mit Schildern ausgestattet sind. So würde man diese besser identifizieren können. Mir fiel es teils schwer die beschriebenen Gebäude z.B. In Balzers zu finden / zuzuordnen. Dann kann es passieren, dass man daran vorbeiläuft und dieses nicht freischaltet. Man könnte auch durch einen Klingelton (den man sich selbst auswählt) darauf aufmerksam gemacht werden, dass man sich wenige Meter vor der Ereignisstation befindet. ### 4/5 — Excellent *2019-09-25, version 1.0.1* We just finished the trail and loved having the app with its information. The only problem is that at three spots it would not open, so we couldn’t open the interactive stations. Is it possible to have these “forced” open for us so we could get that information? Otherwise, the trail, the app, and the principality were wonderful. We’d highly recommend it. ### 5/5 — Invaluable Guide *2025-03-24, version 1.2.2* My wife and I completed the Liechtenstein Trail (hiking) in 5 days utilizing this app not only for the navigation but mostly for the providing historical context to what we were seeing. This was especially useful as non-German speakers. The app provided a rich appreciation to the nature and history of Liechtenstein. It’s a must have for anyone hiking the trail! ### 5/5 — Nice app *2024-04-15, version 1.2.2* Good views of whole trail, and zooms in nicely and has many colorful photos.
