After having it professionally installed, the TorchStar app will only work sometimes. Why doesnyit either never work or always work?? I dunno... The control panel is no longer working and I’m unable to change the colors of our recessed lighting at the moment. When will the app be fixed? ### 2/5 — App function no longer works — need to switch apps *2024-09-30* Update: I called Leonlite to resolve and they suggested moving to Smart Life app. So I deleted Litedge and reconnected lights using SmartLife app and all good again. So I went to change color on lights in the app and I can still turn light on/off with Bluetooth, but if you try to go to change color the app just hangs. Tried re finding all the lights in app and even reinstalling app but no change. Pretty frustrated as lights are now stuck on color I don’t want. The app doesn’t work to change the light’s settings. When I go to select a light and change anything about it, the wheel just spins and nothing ever opens up. Please fix. ### 1/5 — Just doesn’t work anymore *2024-10-12* The app was barely functional to begin with, but not a lot of others offering this product so overall even though it was painfully slow and had many weird limitations and quirks, was fine using on occasion, mostly kept it simple and changed once a season/holiday. Now, it can still control the lights turning on and off, but when I click any of the individual lights to change their color, for example, it just doesn’t load, just a blank white page with a spinning wheel. Since it controls them turning them on and off, doesn’t seem like either the phone or the lights, it’s something with the app. ### 1/5 — Apple Devices-No Color Option *2024-10-09, version 3.1.0* The Color option doesn’t work for any of my Apple devices. Works fine with Android. Looks like an update is needed -since the last one was 2022. Product is LED Color changing Pathway Lights. Nice lights-not so much for the App. ### 1/5 — Not Amazon Compatible *2023-11-25, version 3.1.0* I have had three plugs for years and they have always worked with my Amazon Echos. Sometime in the past week, the link to Amazon has been broken. I’ve seen that this has happened to many people through the Alexa app. The plugs communicate with that Litedge app but when trying to connect the app to the Alexa app, an error occurs. ### 1/5 — Typical garbage app from an off-brand smart home company *2022-12-19* Extremely buggy, and unreliable pairing process. I ordered 6 light bulbs, and the app won’t let you pair all 6 at the same time, only one at a time. And even then, the connection only succeeds like 50% of the time. This problem is compounded by the fact that the bulbs are only in pairing mode for a limited time, so since it takes forever to pair one bulb at a time, the remaining unpaired bulbs always time out of pairing mode and you have to put them back in pairing mode by turning the switch on and off. The problem is: paired AND unpaired bulbs are on the same switch, so you literally have to UNINSTALL the paired bulbs, then put them all back in pairing mode, and repeat this extremely annoying process over and over again until they are all paired.
