One downside is the food pal is a bit inaccurate. The app uses ai to input for meals and snacks and there’s no option to do that manually so the calorie, fat, carbs, and protein intake for some food items are wrong. For example I had a chomp stick, when I tried to log it I told the ai EXACTLY how many calories, carbs, fats, and grams of protein were in it, and it still wasn’t right. It’s not that big of a deal to me because I’m not that worried about calorie counting, it’s just a little annoying. ### 2/5 — Greed *2025-02-10, version 2.7.8* I deleted my account to reset my data and I try to make a new account but can’t go anywhere forward without having to pay. no need to be money hungry ### 2/5 — Premium is a joke *2024-12-28* I was really enjoying the app and I even paid for the 3 month premium but I went to go open the app today and it says I need to pay for premium again when I just did a couple weeks ago. I even tapped into it this morning with no problem. Now when I go to log my fast for the night, it doesn’t give me anything unless I purchase a subscription. Don’t waste your time on this. Even though I signed up for a FREE TRIAL, that I started yesterday!!!! . It hasn’t even ended and they took 30+ dollars out of my bank account!!!! Not even a good app or something you can’t do on your own easily!! ### 1/5 — Just a regular diet app with a reminder to fast. *2023-07-09* I didn’t want to sign up for 3 months but somehow that was the only option even to get onto the app. I contacted about getting a refund and never heard anything from anyone. Now I’m stuck with it reminding me to fast. Could have just set an alarm for that. The food suggestions are not anything special and are really low limits. I doubt the fasting schedule even matters when you only are supposed to eat two half meals a day. Absolutely not worth $40 for three months. Don’t pay for it! Terrible meal plan system. Doesn’t give visibility for full week or future meals so can’t set yourself up for success. ### 1/5 — No thanks *2023-01-03* if i could give this app no stars.. i would..it begins like a chat which i thought was a unique feature. it goes on to ask you personal questions so that it can "customize" your meals and schedule. what was upsetting was being called obese by a robot then told to pay to get a plan that 1) seemed mediocre at best and 2) didn't even give you a preview of what you're paying for. The intention is not to say someone is obese rather to tell users that the BMI is considered obese, which is written in this way in a lot of articles on google.
