Around 40 layout and design issues were fixed across every screen, on every iPhone size and on both iOS 18 and iOS 26. • The home screen no longer runs off the edges. Your greeting, section headings and profile picture were being clipped on every iPhone — all fixed. • Tapping your profile picture no longer starts a recording. The record button's tap area was reaching too far up the screen. • Loading screens no longer show text on top of the grey placeholder bars. • Your name and the record button no longer slide under the clock when you scroll. • AI Chat's privacy notice can now be dismissed with "Not now" instead of forcing you to accept. • iPhone SE: Quick Actions are no longer hidden behind the tab bar, and the record button no longer overlaps its label. • Transcript improvements: consecutive lines from the same speaker are grouped together instead of repeating the name and avatar on every line, and a recording now shows the same title in the list and on its detail screen. • Settings, Account and Upload: fixed cut-off labels, misaligned rows and cards that were partly hidden behind the tab bar. ### 2.3.87 — 2026-09-06 Fixes and improvements: • Large file uploads now work. Files over 100 MB previously failed to upload; they now upload reliably in parts. • Audio playback is fixed for recordings made in the Chrome extension and on desktop. Tapping play on these transcripts previously showed "Audio unavailable". • The filler-words toggle now actually works. Turning it off previously had no effect on your transcript. • Corrected the free-plan allowance shown at sign-up. It reads the live figure from our servers instead of a hardcoded number. • Signing out now unregisters push notifications from the device, so a handed-down or sold phone no longer receives the previous account's notifications. • Live recording on iPhone now counts toward your monthly transcription minutes, consistent with the desktop, web and browser-extension apps. ### 2.3.72 — 2026-07-01 RELIABILITY • Fixed a rare hang when opening very long transcripts. • Smoother scrolling and search across large transcripts — no more dropped frames while audio is playing. RECORDING RELIABILITY • Tighter recovery for interrupted recordings — if iOS suspends the app or the network drops at exactly the wrong moment, your recording is preserved and the upload finishes in the background. • No more lost tail audio at the moment you tap Stop. • Smarter reconnect handling — transcripts stay in correct chronological order when the WebSocket drops mid-meeting. • Recordings reliably resume after phone calls, Siri, and other audio session interruptions. • Cleaner Discard — every trace of the session is torn down server-side AND on-device so the next recording starts genuinely fresh. • Smoother long sessions — memory usage during multi-hour recordings is now bounded by design. • Transient network errors after wake-from-suspension now retry automatically instead of failing on the first attempt. PRIVACY & SECURITY • Sign-in screens are now privacy-marked — your credentials no longer appear in the iOS app-switcher snapshot. • Apple Sign-In now uses replay-resistant nonces for stronger account security. • Safer deep links — links into your transcripts and AI chats from email, Slack, or QR codes are validated before LiteScribe will follow them. • Per-user cache wipe on sign-out — clean separation of data on shared devices.
