Needs very badly an update resending the events would be good , properly leveling arena as it’s impossible for anyone to farther in the game bronze level fights are filled with diamond and gold decks almost impossible to win any fight. I really enjoyed this game please do a few things it’s not like you don’t still make money off it you have people buying hecka gems ### 3/5 — Needs some work *2022-02-26, version 1.38.20* The pay to win aspect is very annoying, especially in arena. But overtime like I said if you grind then eventually you get the hang of things and become much stronger. You’re basically using the same deck for months without any way to progress until you finally get a single gold combo card, then it’s more grinding to get everything to level 4. There’s no real casual play opportunity past this point ### 4/5 — Almost a 5/5 *2020-12-16, version 1.38.20* Honestly I love this game, I’ve been playing it of and on for years now and it’s still genuinely fun to play, but as some of the other reviews state it is pretty hard in the late game to get enough dust to upgrade your cards and also diamonds are pretty hard to come by compared to the pricing of stuff in the shops ### 3/5 — Arena broken *2020-11-24, version 1.38.20* I’ve restarted the game multiple times just to try and be able to get the arena to work but no matter what I do, it keeps giving me only the same five opponents. All of which have thousands of stars and are ranked many levels above me in the arena. If I can’t win even one match then I can’t get the daily bonuses for competing. I also wish the events at the portal would cycle back through again because there is no way to be prepared for the first events when you are low leveled no matter how much training you do in the first four areas. Also gems are impossible to get. ### 4/5 — The game was too hard *2020-10-31, version 1.38.20* Me and my brother used to love playing this game. We would play it everyday and it was super fun. What I didn’t like about though was that they made the game super difficult for no reason. So me and my brother had to cheat by time glitching and then we couldn’t play against other players online. Just make the game a little bit easier and maybe people wouldn’t have to cheat. I deleted the game shortly after but I still loved the game. ### 3/5 — Big paywall, outdated *2020-09-06, version 1.38.20* The game is fun and a good concept, but after a while there comes a point where you basically can’t progress anymore without paying, every boss has twice your health and all gold level 4+ cards (which you basically can’t get reasonably without paying money.) Seeing as you can’t really get gold cards outside of the 2 you start with, there’s a clear point where I just quit because I wasn’t making progress anymore. Also if you have a iPhone X or newer the game stretches to fit the entire screen and some of it gets cut off on the top of the phone. ### 4/5 — Special packs *2020-07-04, version 1.38.20* I’ve been playing this game for almost 4 years over 3 accounts and lately I’ve been noticing that there aren’t any special packs. I think that special packs are a good way for long time players like me to spend the gems they are getting. What I’m saying is that I would be happy if we were to have special packs more frequently. ### 4/5 — Please make some small updates! *2020-06-20, version 1.38.20* This is really a great game, my boyfriend and I play almost every day, but we’ve gotten to a point where we can’t really beat any bosses anymore no matter how good our decks are. I 100% agree with the recent review before me about the regular events needing to repeat, but also because that is also the only real source of coins in the game. I noticed after the events ended I was having a very hard time upgrading any of my cards to level 4 because I had no dust and no coins to buy upgrade boosts. I also think increasing the rate of getting good cards in the basic boxes would be great! But I believe the main issue is that I can’t get enough dust to level up my cards, and now even though I have a good amount of gold combo cards, the rest of my deck are all low levels and I lose to all the story characters (even on the first page of places when I fight them on gold or onyx level). Also getting gems is almost impossible, and even with a good deck I sometimes still lose to just a silver goblin. I feel like those are really all the updates this game needs, it is really great and if you wanted to make some new combo cards too that’d be awesome haha, but really it’s good how it is aside from these issues. I hope someone can find the time to make a few small updates, the game would be infinitely better! ### 4/5 — This Game Has Potential *2020-06-14, version 1.38.20* Developers, I used to play this game all the time and it was so great. You didn’t have to spend money that much to progress. I got all the cards and everything in the game. But then I stopped playing. The one problem with this game is that there are only a few levels for adventure mode. This game could take off to the skies if you added many more levels and cards. This game could also use more ways to battle. There is only arena and adventure which is why this game is stuck and not getting recognized. If you guys added a bunch more adventure levels and events, along with a tournament system, this game would take off. Don’t let this game go, it has so much potential if you do what I am saying. ### 2/5 — Cloud sync rework *2019-10-30, version 1.38.20* I love this game. I have spent many months and hours pouring into this game. I have loved unlocking new combos, discovering new cards, and upgrading them to get the best deck I can. What I do not love about this game is that when you upgrade your phone and want to install the game on your new phone to continue playing, the profile you sync to is now months old, missing all the cards, dust, research that you’ve spent countless hours grinding. I was gutted to see that my profile no longer had my two boss cards or my fully upgraded onyx card. Backing up your app should not be that hard and you have had plenty of time to figure it out. It’s extremely unfair, you’ll never be able to beat any other players bc there’s not enough new players, you’ll basically just be stuck losing over and over again because of how difficult it is to get any good cards. Arena is the worst part of the game. Adventure is also really boring and even when you do win it’s unsatisfying. Plus the graphics look awful. There’s nothing fun about this game. ### 1/5 — Unfair *2022-02-08, version 1.38.20* The “arena” is practically filled with people who stole their mother’s credit card and bought 9 million packs because I refuse to believe you pulled a level 5 legendary 29/50 immediately and there’s no way to win because the match making is broken, the actual game relies on research which won’t benefit you for an entire day and even then the “card pool” doesn’t work and all you get is an ash from every basic card pack, the stamina function is just dumb in every game but mostly so in this, I would rate this game 0 stars but I’m afraid I’m out of stamina and that would cost $9.99 to fix ### 1/5 — This used to be fun *2020-01-25, version 1.38.20* A couple of years ago, I played this game and it was great, just a load of fun. There would be events every week, progression was so easy, and even the gem offers were easy to complete. I downloaded the game again the other day and I noticed how horrible it is. Dust is so incredibly hard to get, which makes progression really sluggish. I bought a starter pack and didn’t get the reward, which is just robbery at that point. I even got marked in the arena as a “cheater”, and only get paired against extremely high people when I am a silver level player at best. Overall this game has a lot of issues and I would not recommend redownloading it for the nostalgia. I have emailed the company about the issues and I don’t think they will respond due to how little people play the game now. Don’t waste your time with this game. ### 1/5 — What customer support? *2018-06-18, version 1.37.80* I've waited three weeks to hear from them. From an automated email, it says there is no warning on game labeling you a cheater. Once labeled a cheater, it cannot be removed. So sad to say, after not cheating but instead spending over $600 to compete in the arena feature, we can no longer compete due to being labeled a cheater for spending money to compete. Seems rather stupid to me. But lesson learned. Game is fun, but that made it worthless. Still waiting on response. So I just called Apple and got some money refunded, next to call credit card and dispute charges. #cashgrab ### 1/5 — Please fix the save system *2018-05-26, version 1.37.75* Please fix the save system. Your game does not appear where iCloud data can be deleted. There is no way to delete the first save file that gets put there. Any money spent on another game vanishes with it because you have no restore purchases button. The save game is also not linked to kongregate account. The only game that gets saved is my ancient game on my dying iPad and I’ve tried everything to get it to switch to my new device’s game. (But I keep getting prompts to reload the old iCloud data that Apple won’t let me delete. You have to work around them and create a way for to save active games that is not dependent on iCloud. ### 1/5 — Misleading and nonexistent customer support *2018-05-15, version 1.37.75* When I started playing I did the time switch to speed up energy gain. I got a warning that it might ruin my leaderboard ranking which happens weekly or so. Eventually it did. What they failed to tell you is they do this on purpose and revoke all access to 2 key features in the game permanently. I stopped immediately and I’ve emailed them months later in hopes of getting it lifted. All my emails have been ignored completely. Purchases are overpriced which makes me regret even spending anything on this game, especially when you realize they probably don’t even have customer support. ### 1/5 — Was good... now bad *2017-12-07, version 1.37.53* At first the game was fun. I would play for hours on end. But the one problem I’ve noticed is the “rng” factor the game has. For some reason when I play the adventure mode I have the best rng possible. I get all my combinations perfectly, but the moment I try the pvp my deck just won’t work. Now they made it even harder to get any good cards. You are able to get some from the story mode but chances of that happening are slim to none. It’s almost as if they want you lose so you spend more money trying to get the better cards. ### 2/5 — Waste of time *2022-03-16, version 1.38.20* It starts off fun but the difficulty grows a lot faster than your deck will grow enemies will get way more health and better cards and there’s no way to get your health higher at the start except if you buy 1 health point at a time in arena which is a fake multiplayer game mode that’s just bots pretending to be real players and they’ll pull random high damage cards out of nowhere even though they’re in a low arena basically this game is a big waste of time that tries to get you to spend money on it ### 2/5 — Fun for a moment until *2022-02-23, version 1.38.20* Fun until it becomes completely pay to win and redundant. To actually get to a certain level without paying requires way too much grinding on the same characters struggling to improve. I’ve been on and off and realized that this game is no longer attended to due to the lack of content, and support. It is Halloween today on the 31st and there is no event... honestly this game shouldn’t have the player base it still has based off how this game is run. I wish someone would pick this game back up and at least update and invent new content cause this game definitely has potential. It did when it came out and still does. It is a fun game to waste time on.
