Different games for different abilities. The only issue is it relies heavily of dexterity even if the child knows the correct answer. ### 4/5 — Works well *2018-01-01, version 2.0.1* Nice concept done well. Is working well for me, seems like older versions had problems. I really like it - running on iPad mini. Probably even better on bigger screen. Maybe make a free version so people can see that it works well. Possible feature suggestion: Always count in audio the number of fingers detected. Possible feature suggestion: My daughter likes to work towards a goal, for example some kids learning apps let you collect stickers as you complete sections. ### 4/5 — Good app with potential for little learners *2014-07-24, version 1.06* Neither my 3.5 yr old (nor I!) got it at first... So perhaps a help button with instructions or a link to the developer's website might help... But once I figured it out and was able to show my son he's been very happy playing with it. I'm sure as he grows and learns more about numbers this app will help him. ### 2/5 — Good idea, but... *2014-01-17, version 1.04* This is a very small app. You put your fingers down and it will show the number of fingers on the display, if they are not too close together. On our sons little fingers it will miscount, which leads to confusion. Also, it does not teach how to count up and down, if children add more than one finger at a time it simply changes the number on the display but does not give any kind of feedback.i wish it would give cues such as: put down one more finger to get to two, three etc. also, it would have been nice to be able to save grogress and practice numbers up to five first. By using just one hand for that there would be less confusion possible and a more clear picture on how the counting is supposed to work. I was hoping to find sth that actually gives feedback on how to use your fingers to count but this app will definitely not do it. I would not recommend or buy again. ### 2/5 — Okay *2013-12-31, version 1.04* We bought this app a year ago. It crashed so much that our daughter never really enjoyed playing with it too much. However, she does like recording her voice for the numbers. So if your child likes hearing her own voice, this is your math app. ### 3/5 — Looks good, but distracting background music *2013-08-16, version 1.03* I have just bought this. I like the concept and it looks good BUT the background music is quite loud and busy, and I suspect that my daughter, who has learning disabilities and partial hearing loss, will be distracted by the music and not able to hear the names of the numbers. I usually have to knock out the background music with educational apps. When you do your next revision, could you add in an option to switch off the background music. Kids place fingers on the screen, and the count of the fingers is illustrated by colorful characters in the shape of different numbers. Later on kids can graduate to some basic math using the same finger counting approach. Now, my kids mostly learned to get past the math by trying every possible number of fingers, so it is not going to turn your id into a math wiz, but it is charming and engaging nonetheless. ### 5/5 — Fantastic app! *2019-05-12, version 2019.2* Very well made! Developer response is update coming soon. It’s an automated response from June. Apple, get rid of this joker! I’ll be requesting a refund and continue to complain, but, now it’ll be to Apple directly. Apple is responsive, and doesn’t take this rubbish from disappearing act developers. No update for many moons. Doesn’t work on iOS 11. Beware. Non responsive developer. So, after many weeks, still no update. App requirements says iOS 8+? Misleading isn’t it? Soon does not equate to months or years. I too develop and I don’t moan about my lacking skills nor time to keep paying users not only happy but able to use the app they paid for. At first I was tempted to delete the app until he was older because it seemed a little frustrating that he could not make his little fingers count and I had to sit next to him the entire time to help... Awful to admit but I give my son the iPad to get breaks to do chores and at first I was bummed that this app was the ONLY thing he wanted to play but could not do it on his own... But my son quickly memorized all addition and subtraction problems equaling up to ten that he did not need help. I do many Montessori activities with my son and honestly, no amount of time spent counting rods and stones could have taught my three year old how to add and subtract better than this app. The physical activities helped him understand the concept of adding and taking away but this app taught him to quickly memorize the problems. ### 5/5 — Great Innovative app *2014-05-18, version 1.06* My 3 year old daughter loves this app. Better than most kids apps, unique and educational at the same time.
