## What is Little Farmer's Field?

You start with one small plot of soil.
Till it, sow it, water it, harvest it.
That is the whole game, and it is meant to be quiet.

[Your field grows, row by row]
Begin with 9 plots and expand to 24.
Grow lettuce, potato, corn, tomato, chilli and garlic.
Each crop takes a different time to ripen, so what you plant decides your day.

[Sell what you grow to neighbours]
Harvested crops go to your barn and can be sold at the base price.
But filling a neighbour's order pays better.
Mixing several crops in one order pays better still, and regulars pay more over time.

[The old calendar sets the seasons]
Spring seeds open at Ipchun. Winter kimchi vegetables open at Cheoseo.
When the first frost arrives at Sanggang, open-field summer crops are done for the year.
Monsoon brings mould. Typhoons come in August and September.

But a disaster is always announced first.
If you never saw the forecast, the typhoon does not land on your farm.
Stake your tall crops and they hold. If they fall, tap to lift them back up.
Plough a plot under and you get every coin of the seed back.
Nothing you planted is ever destroyed.

Any crop you have harvested once stays in your almanac.
As regulars grow, hay bales and tools appear in your yard.
