## What is Little Skills?

Calm stories that help children build the emotional and social skills that matter most.

Little Skills Story Club helps parents support their child’s emotional and social growth through shared, age-appropriate storytelling kids truly love.

Inside the app, you’ll find a thoughtfully curated library of stories for children ages 2–6, each focused on one small but meaningful skill, like sharing, patience, empathy, confidence, or managing big feelings.

These stories are designed to be read together — in calm, shared moments that help children understand themselves and others.

No noisy games. No overstimulation. Just gentle stories that fit naturally into your day.

What makes Little Skills Story Club different?

- Age-specific by design: Every story is written for a specific age range, so children hear language, pacing, and situations that truly match how they think and feel at that stage.

- One story, one skill: Each story focuses on a single emotional or social skill — making it easier for kids to understand and for parents to talk about together.

- Built-in parent prompts: Gentle, in-story questions help parents pause, reflect, and connect with their child — turning reading time into meaningful conversation.

- Calm, bedtime-ready experience: Soft visuals and a cozy design help children wind down, creating space for connection instead of overstimulation.

- Created by a mom of two: Born from the real, everyday challenges of navigating toddler milestones, and the belief that growth happens best through connection, not correction.

Skills your child can grow through stories:
• Managing big emotions & frustration
• Empathy & kindness
• Sharing & cooperation
• Confidence & trying new things
• Patience & waiting
• Friendship & social skills

Little Skills Story Club is a calm, trusted space where stories support emotional growth, and help parents feel confident, connected, and supported along the way.

With every story you read together, you’re not just passing time — you’re building the foundation for empathy, resilience, and lifelong confidence.

### 5/5 — Great story app for emotional skills

*2026-01-26*

I’m a mom of a 6-year-old in kindergarten, and I honestly didn’t expect how much my daughter would love these stories. She kept asking to read another one, and then another, which already told me a lot. The situations in some of the stories feel really familiar to her, like things she actually deals with at school and with friends.
What I didn’t expect was how well the parent questions worked. They made it so much easier to talk about feelings and situations she’s been in, without me having to push or ask those questions that usually go nowhere.
