### 2/5 — Sound and fonts

*2024-10-13*

Can’t turn the music off without turning all sound off. For use in classrooms that’s annoying. None of the available fonts have a 1 or 4 the way students write it (4 - straight not slanted).

### 3/5 — Sound issues

*2020-11-17*

It is hard to get the sound to work and stay on. Other than that it would be a 5.

### 2/5 — Sound doesn’t work..

*2020-03-18*

Great app but sound doesn’t work so difficult to help learning

### 4/5 — Love it

*2020-01-03*

My kid is delayed developmentally so he needs extra help with his writing & this works really well for the price!

### 2/5 — Cannot Access Settings, lowercase letters not correct size

*2019-02-10*

The three finger tap control pops up to access their other apps (works) and the settings (does not work). Also, the lowercase letters are not the right size on the lines, the b, f and d for example, do not extend to the top line of the writing staff. I like that the app says the letter out loud so many times but without access to settings I can’t do much to customize and have no way to see if it can adjust for a leftie. Certain letters are written differently by left handed kids and other writing apps we have allow you to switch to leftie mode.

### 2/5 — Letter order

*2018-10-31*

My letters say A-Z order but are still in a strange order. The rating is low because I’ve emailed multiple times and have never gotten a response. I’m happy with the actual teaching of the letters but have received no response which is really unhelpful and discouraging.

### 1/5 — Can’t access the settings

*2018-08-21*

Horrible app. I cannot access the settings because the 3 finger tap does not work.

### 1/5 — Bad app

*2018-05-30*

Just paid for this app and cannot get any sound. The three fingers to get access to settings will not connect. This needs to be change.

### 3/5 — Letter families needed

*2018-03-15, version 3.0*

I would like to present letters in a specific order grouped by families. For instance lower case letters with tails, or letter that use a c curve.

### 1/5 — Cannot process extra setting I paid for !

*2018-02-12*

Three finger access does not work. Please update . I paid for this feature

### 1/5 — Cannot access Pro features after paying

*2018-01-02*

Pro requires a three finger tap to access (a parental gate to prevent little ones from accidentally customizing settings) but I cannot get it to recognize a three finger tap. I’ve tried multiple people tapping on multiple, different iPads. It’s only worked once randomly.

The gesture works fine on my phone. Not sure what is wrong.

### 1/5 — You can add words but you can’t record them

*2022-08-12, version 3.0*

I was excited to see I could add names of our family members and record my voice saying them. While the app does in fact offer this, there is no sound after I have recorded myself. Until this glitch is fixed I would not recommend paying for this app.

### 1/5 — Unstable and buggy.

*2021-12-01, version 3.0*

Don’t waste your money.

### 1/5 — No sound

*2020-06-01, version 3.0*

When I go on to phonetic sounds there is no sound and you can’t hear anything. I’ve gone to settings and turned on the sound and still it’s not worked no. Can someone help me out?

### 1/5 — No sound

*2019-07-11, version 3.0*

There is no sound.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2019-07-06*

The letters come in random order even after selecting A-Z Order . When adding in letters there is no way for the student to trace that letter the picture just appears on screen.

I was hoping to just work on one letter at a time over and over again . I want a refund .

Not a good app

### 1/5 — No sound

*2019-04-25, version 3.0*

I've unloaded and reloaded no sound for this app.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t assist with learning

*2018-11-27, version 3.0*

Not easy for children or adults with special needs to use

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2018-11-17*

Audio stopped working a couple weeks after 1st use. I don’t understand what value is added by the three point touch. I have not once been able to access settings.

### 1/5 — This app will not stop asking me to rate it even though I bought it

*2018-10-09*

Please stop asking me to rate this app. I literally can not do anything without being asked to rate it after every single step. I wish I could give it a zero rating for being so obnoxious.

### 1/5 — Sound doesn’t work

*2018-09-16*

Just purchased this app and the sound doesn’t work. I’ve gone to setting to ensure the toggle was on for sound but it’s still not working. Very frustrating!

### 5/5 — Helping 3 Year with Alphabet and Early Writing Skills

*2020-10-17*

Overall, this app seems to be helping 3yo learn her ABC’s and seems to promote early writing skills as she learns the shapes of the letters. We’re just doing the alphabet right now, but I’ve looked at the app’s other features (numbers, phonics sounds, and more) and I think she’ll benefit from those too once we get there. The app keeps her preoccupied whenever I have to make her lunch, go to the bathroom, etc.

I love that the app lets you make custom recordings to replace the default ones. She gets so excited when she hears her own voice telling her the names of letters or my voice saying “GREAT JOB!!” whenever she finishes lol.

My only slight frustrations are that it’s not always user friendly. Specifically, I wish there was a “skip” button that could be pressed instead of swiping to skip to a new letter. Sometimes when 3yo is trying to drag her finger to trace, the app interprets it as a swiping motion and switches to a new letter. When that happens, her progress on the previous letter is lost so she has to start over to finish or just move on without getting the satisfaction of completion. It’s possible to toggle swiping off in the settings, but if swiping is disabled there is (so far as I can tell) no way to skip to a new letter. That’s frustrating because sometimes she gets stuck on a tricky letter and will then just give up since there’s no way to continue without finishing the letter.

### 5/5 — Must have

*2020-07-25*

This app is awesome. My 2 year old loves it. It taught him how to write his letters, shapes, numbers etc. He thinks it is a treat but he is learning so much. Thanks for creating this wonderful, fun, and educational app!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2020-02-27, version 3.0*

You can even add your own words

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2019-11-04, version 3.0*

This is a great app to practice correct writing format.

### 5/5 — Love It !!! I am an OT

*2019-05-08*

I work with Special ED preschoolers and this is a great app. It helps my kid’s sensory perception, especially when I use the Ergo Stylus with the built in pencil grip. They love it and then they want to write. Simple app that does a great job helping kids love to learn to draw and write.

### 5/5 — Great for my kindergartener

*2019-02-25*

I love how it teaches where to begin

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2018-03-11, version 3.0*

I could even customize for French accents and record positive reinforcement in French. Daughter (7) and son (5) like playing, especially my daughter who helped create the new words. She really likes hearing the recording of her own voice repeating the words.

### 5/5 — Awesome!!!!!! Need I say more???

*2017-10-13*

Awesome!!!! Need I say more? Pro is the way to go. My kid has been using this app for years and it is still able to grow and continue to help.

### 5/5 — Good app

*2017-09-15*

Nice app, wish I didn't have to write a review to make the reminder to write a review stop coming up though.
