Thankfully I was able to find instructions online and view them on the iPad. ### 2/5 — Potential, not executed *2021-04-18, version 1.0.9* Tried the rover kit with my kids on my phone but the instructions aren’t very good and there’s only a pause button, no rewind. No audio either. As an adult it was complicated to figure out what to do with the folding of the base. Kids and I both got frustrated and everyone walked away without getting anywhere. Unfortunately, the actual activities and build instructions do NOT download so you can’t actually use the app 🤷🏽‍♀️ Very disappointing considering how expensive the kits are. ### 1/5 — What a piece of crap *2019-12-27, version 1.0.9* This is, without a doubt, one of the worst apps I have ever used. My son has a rover that he cannot build because the app refuses to download its own instructions. No instructions are supplied with the rover itself (as someone else said, how cheap do you have to be to not supply a pdf or printed instructions, and because of LittleBits mind-bending decision to gate every subsequent step in the app behind the use of instructions, we can’t do anything. We are now on our SEVENTEETH “download error” from your servers on your app with your directions, complete with reset of the percentages downloaded for no clearly identifiable reason. I will never buy a product from LittleBits again. We were trying to install the program for the space rover, but it hangs up at 82 percent. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — This is ridiculous *2024-11-06* I got an avengers hero inventor for kit Christmas, so I download the app and there is nothing that says avengers. The kit is still being sold in various places online, but it doesn’t work as there is no app. Not very ethical. The app works fine you just download the instructions 1 time and the toy is super great! ### 5/5 — Pretty Good So Far... *2020-10-08* I completed the first invention with my class, and once finished, all of the activities started to unlock as we worked through them. The app was bad and the instructions were not download so we could not do any of the activities and we had to find the instructions for the guitar online. A year later and the app is working great so far. Able to play games at use instructions! Vary happy now! The games a pretty good and fun!
