## What is Live Athan?

Live Athan brings the living call to prayer to your pocket.

When a muezzin calls the athan at a masjid near you, hear it live — a real human voice, at the real moment, from a real place. Not a recording. Not an alarm. The actual call, as it happens.

WHAT LIVE ATHAN DOES

• Accurate prayer times, computed on your device. No account, no sign-up, no server — the app calculates prayer times with precise astronomy wherever you are, even offline. Traveling? Times update automatically for your new city.

• Live athan and prayers from real masjids. See which masjids near you are alive right now — people inside, prayer about to begin — and listen to the athan, iqama, and prayer as they happen.

• Broadcast from your masjid. With your permission, Masjid Mode lets your phone share the athan with the community when you are inside your masjid at prayer time. It works only inside the masjid and only during prayer windows — never anywhere else, never at any other time.

• Qibla, beautifully. A precise compass points you toward Makkah from anywhere on Earth.

• Record your athan. Capture your own call to prayer and keep it in your personal library.

• Remember Allah, beautifully. A built-in tasbeeh keeps your dhikr count with authentic adhkar — a quiet companion between prayers.

• Masjid announcements, without the noise. Your masjid's updates, urgent alerts, and community news in one clean feed — posted by verified masjid announcers, with no comments, no likes, and no doomscrolling.

• Apple TV companion. The Live Athan TV app lets the whole family hear their masjid live in the living room.

PRIVACY, BY DESIGN

Your phone is never "always listening." The microphone can activate only inside a masjid you have chosen, only during a prayer window, and only after your explicit consent — and audio leaves your device only while you are actively broadcasting. Prayer times are calculated entirely on the device; no server ever needs your location for them.

FREE, FOR EVERYONE

Live Athan is free. No ads. No paid anything. Muslims and non-Muslims are equally welcome — come hear something real.
