## Newest reviews (10 of 40)

### 2/5 — Watch app useless

*2024-10-24, version 2.2.9*

The phone app looks nice but there are two things that don’t work well. First is the watch app only gives information for one particular station regardless of location and it doesn’t even provide departure times, essentially making the watch app useless. The second thing is the app doesn’t support widgets which would be nice to have in order to see departure times at a glance when I’m approaching the escalator.

### 3/5 — Good app. but honestly hate for forced reviews.

*2021-07-02, version 2.2.1*

Also asking me for feedback when I just downloaded is imprudent.

### 2/5 — Slow slow slow slow… did I mention slow?

*2020-01-16, version 2.1.0*

The app doesn’t update fast, but at least it manages before too long. The watch app is the big problem. Even when the iPhone has been correct for minutes, the watch app refuses to update. I got it for the watch app and it’s a big disappointment.

### 4/5 — Need low vision features

*2019-10-22, version 2.0.7*

Upon larger text the cities overlap when choising

### 2/5 — Dumb app, not smart at all!

*2019-07-05, version 2.0.1*

Here I am, cutting my coffee with my wife short to catch a train only to find out that Bart is running a holiday schedule (or whatever) which is not captured by your app. Is your app smart or dumb, does it reflect real arrivals or scheduled? If it’s not real then what’s the point, it would be only a glorified arrivals schedule that used to be printed, similar what we used to do in the 20th century.

### 2/5 — Subpar

*2018-11-15, version 1.2.2*

Not good on tracking times, doesnt track the Warm Springs station at all (been open over a yr and a half now), constantly lags based on location and then need to go select station i want to look at (closest one obviously)

### 2/5 — Why no listing for Antioch eBART?

*2018-10-14, version 1.2.2*

eBART opened new Antioch and Pittsburg Plaza stations in late May 2018. I’ve been checking this site since then for info on departures from Antioch station and still nothing as of 10/14/2018.

### 2/5 — Dont update right now!

*2018-07-13, version 1.2.1*

After the update, I am 7900 miles away from all the stations.

### 5/5 — Essential app for everyday commuters

*2018-02-12, version 1.1.2*

This app does one thing very well, it tells you the upcoming trains at your nearest bart locations. If you’re a daily commuter this is what you need 99% of the time. The interface is simple, no-frills, and is easy to use.

### 2/5 — Really wanted to love it

*2017-02-15, version 1.1.2*

I really wanted to love this app but the other reviews are correct, it takes too long fetching data that you can't use it at a glance to see when the next trains are coming. It looks great just wish it was more reliable at picking up ETAs and that you could save favorite stations!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Alert Time Stamp

*2021-10-01, version 2.2.4*

The time stamp is not local but UTC.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2019-08-13, version 2.0.3 (1)*

Departure times are wrong, won’t even refresh the times if you try. And the stations are listed in some bizarre random order so it’s almost impossible to find the one you want especially if you are in a hurry—because you’re trying to catch your train!

### 1/5 — Thanks for breaking a once useful app

*2018-07-13, version 1.2.1*

This app was simple and useful that I use everyday but thanks to your update it’s useless. Now instead of showing the stations near me with someone close accuracy, I am not being shown as 7000+ miles from every station .... including the one I am standing at writing this review. Looks like I’m going to be looking for a better app.

### 1/5 — Does not work after update

*2018-07-12, version 1.2.1*

Use to be okay now useless!!!!

Since you update 2 days ago. It does not use the correct location. How am I at the 12th Bart station in Oakland and it says I’m over 7,000 miles away from it?

### 1/5 — Location accuracy is not working

*2018-07-12, version 1.2.1*

Not displaying bart arrivals in the current location even though location services were enabled

### 1/5 — Highly disappointed

*2018-07-10, version 1.2.1*

I have used this app for many years. Finally a new version is available so I download it and now it says I’m over 7k miles from the stations. I checked my location services and it’s on “always”. I’m sad I updated it. Was just excited and hopeful for better Apple Watch support :(

### 1/5 — Times are Waaay off

*2017-02-22, version 1.1.2*

When pulling the schedule to "current" times they are usually way off and you have page forward to get to a time near now. Also, the schedule is way off, and I mean waaay off, it will tell you a Bart train will be there in 7 minutes, but in reality it's 25. Huge Fail.

### 1/5 — The app doesn't work anymore

*2016-11-14, version 1.1.2*

It used to work great, but recently it most of the time fails to retrieve the data, or worse - show incorrect data.

### 1/5 — Should NOT exist at all

*2016-11-05, version 1.1.2*

It's not LIVE, changing arrival time all the time, sometimes it shows two trains in 2 minutes distance of each other and when you decide to skip a first one it adjusts a time of second one to 15 minutes late, you can't rely on it!

### 1/5 — Doesn't list Pleasanton/Dublin on Sunday's

*2016-03-27, version 1.1.2*

Trying to use this at Montgomery station and there's no mention of Pleasanton/Dublin and this is a Sunday. And yes, the train does run on Sunday's cause I'm sitting on the train as I write this

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — 24th mission Bart to Menlo Park

*2021-05-25, version 2.2.1*

I wish I could get a cheaper rate
I have infusions daily I travel 2buses Bart and Caltrain please combine its more than driving my 1996 Corolla on gas
But medications I can’t drive distances

### 5/5 — Fastest BART app ever!

*2019-12-04, version 2.0.8*

This app allows me to get train departure information right away, without having to click through several screens. When I need to catch the next train during rush hour, I need to make quick decisions where to stand. This app helps me do just that!

### 5/5 — On time

*2019-10-31, version 2.0.7*

Helps me be on time to my destination

### 5/5 — Accurate routes

*2019-10-21, version 2.0.7*

Every morning I use this app and is more comfortable than the Bart web. I have all the information to my fingertips I really love it

### 5/5 — Perfect BART app

*2019-07-09, version 2.0.1*

This is truly the perfect app for seeing when your BART train is going to arrive, figuring out what station you’re closest to, etc. I’ve tried a lot of BART-related apps and this one is by far the best!

### 5/5 — Updated version now has all stations

*2019-03-29, version 1.3.4*

This app used to lack a few newer stations but now has all the BART stations. Thanks!!!

### 5/5 — Great app use it every day but need to add Antioch Station

*2018-07-24, version 1.2.2*

Thanks for making great app. I used to used it everyday but recently moved to Antioch but app does not support Antioch station yet. Please add Antioch station as well if you can. Keep up the great work.

### 5/5 — THANK YOU

*2018-07-16, version 1.2.2*

Thank you - I was lost last week with the location issue and I was forced to try other apps .... this app is beating any BART app out there.
No ugly ads no clumsy GUI over loaded with pointless features! Super fast - much appreciate what you’re doing thanks thanks thanks

### 5/5 — No location services?

*2018-07-12, version 1.2.1*

It seems location services are no longer available? I assume this occurred with a recent app update? The app loses most of its usefulness if it doesn’t automatically find the closest BART location when the app is opened. Please fix this ASAP!

### 5/5 — Exactly what I was looking for!

*2018-06-15, version 1.1.2*

How many minutes to the next train? How many cars? It’s simple and so far very accurate!!
