This makes photos look worse. **Developer response:** Thank you so much for this feedback. You were right, and I shipped a fix because of it. In version 1.3.0, I changed the default behavior so the app no longer converts photos to JPEG. It now removes only the video portion of each Live Photo and keeps the photo itself untouched. Your HDR, colors, metadata, and full quality stay exactly as you shot them. I also added quality options in Settings if you want to compress photos further.
