They’re the normal photos you take and print, but they come alive with an embedded video clip that will always be there when you feel like remembering the moment. Specifically, our mobile app enables photographers, publishers, and content creators to use their traditional printed images as a key to 'unlock' a video to create a more engaging experience. In today’s digital smartphone world, if the photo is important enough to print, the video clip, which we call ‘a story in every picture’ is equally important. Photographers: • Take Live Portraits at the same time you’re taking photos using your existing equipment and current operating workflow. Every photo you take can become a Live Portrait. • Live Portraits are only viewable by customers who purchase your photos. Our subscription based pricing model gives you control of the initial sale and future subscription income. How the App Works: The magic happens when our software analyzes the printed image by creating a mathematical model based on shapes, lines, proportions, colors and other elements. It then matches the model against images already in Live Portrait's database. When a match is found what you see is what looks like a 3D, mapped digital video playing on top of a print…living in the physical world. If you expect it to make random pictures come alive then you will be disappointed. ### 5/5 — No clue why people rate it bad *2020-12-07* I was told by my photographer that my photos have video slideshows embedded inside of them and can be viewed with the Live Portrait app. I downloaded the app, pointed at my photo and like magic, a video slideshow of 50 other photos showed up. Everyone I show it to gets amazed. Having said that, I see in the reviews people not understanding that this app ONLY works with photos that is in the Live Portrait system. Your photographer should be more clear! Stop leaving this app bad reviews because you’re unable to figure out how to properly use it the way it’s intended to be used.
