### 5/5 — You gonna like this.

*2022-08-13*

Stoned user-friendly! Pick your decade(s)! Basically it shuffles everything man. I am also a fan of the Live Music app. But I was hoping for this feature. The Grateful Dead never played the same song twice.

### 5/5 — You complete me

*2021-05-21*

It’s a must have app for fans of jam bands. Such a quality concept, well thought out and is continually improving it, thank you for this app!

### 5/5 — Live Music Lovers!!! This is the one!!

*2021-01-28*

Especially with barely any shows going on right now, this app will save your day. Pick all your favorite bands and randomly get a live song from a show including tuning and encore crowd that always makes me smile taking me back to being at a show. Austin adds bands every week and he knows what he is doing. He’s open for band suggestions as well on Twitter. This app alone gets me through my 8 hour work day. Highly recommend

### 2/5 — Relisten without options

Updated at request of developer:
You’re logging IP addresses and not providing that in your privacy label. Please open source so I can add features such as persistence for settings, and contact you about privacy issues. Note: it’s against Apple policies to pressure users into any review process.

**Developer response:** Edit: because I don’t store these ip addresses at all, and only the 1500 most recent requests between iOS, Android, and the web beta combined are available at a time, and the logs expire after a short period of time as it is, plus I don’t look at them at all, let alone share them with any sort of advertiser, I was under the impression that I didn’t have to disclose the brief IP logging, according to Apple’s data collection disclosure guidelines.

Believe it or not, I started working on the settings persistence features immediately after I pushed the previous update, and am hoping to have that live within a few days.

At the current moment, I’m still learning about open-sourcing my app, and at the moment am still trying to clean some of the older spaghetti code up, which is slowly but surely happening, before I decide to open source it. Perhaps if you have experience with working with open source projects, you wouldn’t mind reaching out to me, as I might be able to learn a thing or two if that’s the case.

Thank you for updating your comment, and for your time and your concern, and I hope to hear from you soon. Just so you don’t have to dig through the comment again, the email is liveshufflemusic@gmail.com

Original:
There are a couple of issues with that, though I have plans to upgrade the app in the near future.

1) I never intended to replace Relisten, though I do want folks to be able to search for a specific show eventually, the purpose of the app is to be different from Relisten or Attics or Taper’s Section or any app that serves more as a library.
2) The database isn’t robust enough to look for specific shows at the moment. I just graduated college and started a new job, and upgrading the database is going to cost me a bit more money each month. As soon as I upgrade the database, I already have some scripts written to add the data that would be necessary for these features. Waiting on my first paycheck to do that, though.

I would like to kindly ask that you consider amending your review, and that if you would like to help out when I open source it, to send me a message either via email to liveshufflemusic@gmail.com, or to u/aboston12 on Reddit. I already have a discord server running to discuss the project.

Thank you for your time, and for your feedback, and I hope to hear from you soon.
-Austin

### 5/5 — Great app

*2021-01-09*

This app is quick and snappy. The updates are nice and every song loads fast. If you’re a fan of classic rock this is a must download!

### 5/5 — Heady AF

*2020-12-10*

Dudes and dudettes, whomever created this app had all our best intentions in mind. It’s got so many great features, like, say you are digging a song, you can either shuffle that whole show or (and I really like) start the show from that point on. It’s got an excellent selection and might I recommend the Jazz Is Phish folks. FIRE! It’s right next to Relisten in my music folder, which is exactly where it should be in yours. See everyone on tour!
