But no sun in the app as downloaded. Ephemeris data is only 1 arc minute. I had hoped for better. It's displaying my location correctly, so there's clearly something wrong. This morning the app said Venus was 10 degrees below the horizon when I was looking at it about 30 degrees above the horizon. Disappointing as I wanted to use the alt-az coordinates for Messier objects when I don't drag out my equatorial mount for observing. Perhaps it's pilot error and I have something set incorrectly. For example, it currently says that Saturn is below the horizon. I can assure you that it isn't. The app either gets my location wrong or doesn't know what time it is. ### 1/5 — Looks useful if it was correct *2021-12-07* I'm looking at the sky. Venus is just about to set, the moon and Saturn are in West, and Jupiter is high. The app says that none of them have risen yet. No idea what's wrong. The location is correct, and I don't see anything about setting the date/time. Unfortunately it haven’t been updated since long time and it doesn’t support the new IOS as for the widget. 😭 I hope they can update it. ### 5/5 — What is LiveSky? *2024-04-23* LiveSky sends 100% of information of the moon & the planets, but not the sun. LiveSky shows me space objects and when they are above the horizon. With this app you don't have to wonder. Just hold the app up to the sky facing the object and it will tell you everything.
