### 2/5 — No info on the sun

*2026-02-01, version 2.1*

Kind of a glaring error for an Astronomy app.

### 2/5 — Timing is off

*2023-03-07*

App shows my location correctly, but has the position of all objects incorrect. Appears to be 6 to 7 hours off.

### 2/5 — Needs work

*2021-01-13, version 2.1*

Tried lookin up Mars, and it said it was at 90x25d (az/alt) when observationally it was more at 170x75d

### 4/5 — Omg! It actually works

*2020-11-04, version 2.1*

This app actually works and it’s true information!!

### 2/5 — Confused

*2019-01-11, version 2.1*

I too this app confused. I am looking at the moon in the western sky, yet the app indicates the moon is just rising in the east. It also tells me that Mars is rising in the east yet it is directly above the moon in the western sky

### 3/5 — What about artificial satellite’s?

*2018-06-08*

I think this is a pretty neat and useful app but it would be much better if also included man made objects, ie Hubble, ISS, etc. I would consider paying if the app included man made celestial objects.

### 1/5 — اذذذ

*2018-02-27, version 2.1*

ولله كنت احسب انه بث مباشر من الأقمار الصناعية

### 2/5 — Good till the last update!!!

*2018-01-31*

Used this app for a few years but the last update totally changed this app FOR THE WORSE!!!!! best part about it was the ability to point your phone at any point in the sky and the app would tell you what you where looking at, now you get a list of when each celestial body rises and sets!! google can me that!!!

### 1/5 — Sun data

*2018-01-20, version 2.1*

The sun appears in the screen shots at the App Store. But no sun in the app as downloaded.

Ephemeris data is only 1 arc minute.

I had hoped for better. And without the sun it’s worthless to me.

### 1/5 — It never lets u observe anything

*2018-01-07, version 2.1*

I never know how to observe planets I want to see

### 2/5 — Seems to get confused

*2017-08-25*

I can see Saturn in the SSW right now and this app is saying it rises in 40 minutes. It's displaying my location correctly, so there's clearly something wrong. This morning the app said Venus was 10 degrees below the horizon when I was looking at it about 30 degrees above the horizon.

Disappointing as I wanted to use the alt-az coordinates for Messier objects when I don't drag out my equatorial mount for observing.

Perhaps it's pilot error and I have something set incorrectly. We'll see.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Just plain wrong

*2024-10-19*

This app gives incorrect information about the positions of heavenly bodies. For example, it currently says that Saturn is below the horizon. I can assure you that it isn't. The app either gets my location wrong or doesn't know what time it is.

### 1/5 — Looks useful if it was correct

*2021-12-07*

I'm looking at the sky. Venus is just about to set, the moon and Saturn are in West, and Jupiter is high. The app says that none of them have risen yet. No idea what's wrong. The location is correct, and I don't see anything about setting the date/time. It's too bad, because it seems like a really useful app.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2021-12-04, version 2.1*

I was expecting to see a “map” of the sky. I didn’t get that, I got a description of where it it and that it’s above the skyline. Sooty, not happy with this.

### 1/5 — I cant open the app,

*2021-11-20, version 2.1*

I cant open the app, I can only see my location and advertising. What happen? Very dissapointed.

### 1/5 — Wrong about planets above horizon

*2021-09-13*

Either the app does not know where I am or it does not know the season. It tells me Jupiter is below the horizon when it has been up for several hours.( verified by other apps)

### 1/5 — Can’t see the sky

*2020-11-03, version 2.1*

Unless I am doing something wrong - I can’t get this app to even show me the sky!

### 1/5 — ًًً

*2019-04-16, version 2.1*

بس اسامي واشكال كنت احسب انه تلسكوب

### 1/5 — Disappointment

*2018-09-13, version 2.1*

Not helpful. Inaccurate for my location.

### 1/5 — Don’t bug me

*2018-07-20, version 2.1*

Don’t bug me while I’m using the app

### 1/5 — Cannot input position coordinates manually.

*2018-07-06, version 2.1*

Useless to me.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Needs update ASAP

*2024-09-17, version 2.1*

I really love this app and i love the widget that tells you at what time it starts getting dark. Unfortunately it haven’t been updated since long time and it doesn’t support the new IOS as for the widget. 😭
I hope they can update it.

### 5/5 — What is LiveSky?

*2024-04-23*

LiveSky sends 100% of information of the moon & the planets, but not the sun. LiveSky shows me space objects and when they are above the horizon. I love it!!!!

### 5/5 — Fantastic app!

*2022-12-15*

This is one of those handy go to apps that you use 1 million times and you don’t know what you did without it!
App is so reasonably priced, you don’t mind paying the mere pittance of the in-app purchase to remove the ads. Fantastic app!

### 5/5 — Good

*2021-03-02, version 2.1*

Really good 😌 app

### 5/5 — App of the times

*2020-11-30, version 2.1*

Great app

### 5/5 — Always gives me answers

*2018-07-05*

So often I’ll look up to the sky and think “what is that bright object”. With this app you don't have to wonder. Just hold the app up to the sky facing the object and it will tell you everything.
I especially love how it pointed put 5 visible planets tonight (including Earth).

### 5/5 — I like this app I know the solar system now I know when each planet is out

*2017-09-04*

I give it five stars

### 5/5 — Love this app, best star chart ever

*2017-08-16*

I use this app almost every week. It show me where all the sky objects I want to observe with no effort at all.

Perfect companion for observing the sky with my telescope. I also use it to explain the night sky to my grand children.

I love it's ease of use and accuracy

### 5/5 — Well done

*2017-05-06, version 2.0*

Really useful app

### 5/5 — Staradmirer

*2017-03-04, version 2.0*
